Solved

I am working on an illustration that uses a lot of tapered strokes. I'm using the stroke width tool to make one end of a line wide and taper it to a point. It works great, up until the lines are more than about 2 inches long. Then they get pointed on both ends and wide in the middle, even though they have the same width profile applied. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a solution, or a better way to achieve the same look?

Hello, Is there a way to export a custom metadata schema (with values intact) and import it onto another machine/profile on a shared environment? I found the xmp_view_settings.xml but that doesn't seem to carry over custom schemas, or values added to the Premiere Pro Project Metadata schema.

Hi Greetings!  It's a request and suggestion to the team to keep my account in older version only. Iam not comfortable creating any work through new version.  Thanks!

Hi there — A week ago, a few of my Adobe products began lagging when attempting a click-and-drag with the direct selection cursor. I noticed it first in Illustrator, but then noticed it in InDesign as well. I primarily use Illustrator in my day-to-day, so I'm posting here. After a fair amount of Googling, I discovered many people with the same problem over the past few years, all who had different solutions presented to them (to varying amounts of success). I've tried all sorts of things to resolve this issue, but nothing has worked. So I'm hoping to get some additional insight here. I'll outline the steps I've taken below: The problem: Clicking on an object and trying to move it has a relatively huge delay on it. Trying to select multiple objects in quick succession also makes the cursor to "stick" causing some items to suddenly jump around. It happened suddenly and seemingly randomly one day after lunch. It's very frustrating when designing complex boards. Version

Using a company laptop, currently when I move any object/text/shape/etc on an artboard it lags and then becomes attached to my cursor without me holding down. Essentially, I am unable to click and drag anything. I checked, and all of my "snap" settings appear to be the same on this new work laptop and my personal laptop, but I am able to click and drag as normal. The version of illustrator installed is the same as well. How do I fix this?

How do I create a url for sharing and downloading and viewing? I do not want the my invited client access to converting or editing the pdf file.

I had to hard close Rush while working on a video project that was almost complete. Since then, APR will not load any of my existing projects. It doesn't even show the timeline, nothing. Just a black screen within the software. Any ideas?

I was able to make one video, now it's telling me I don't have any internet connection.  Very frustrating as I paid for my subscription.  Can anyone help?

Please allow me to reverse clip! Take the app "in shot" for example. They allow us to reverse the clip and edit it! Please make a feature like that for premiere rush!

I am trying to create tiktok videos with vertically shot videos on my phone and have encountered this issue again and again. After having success in beginning the process of editing, Rush will zoom out on my video creating black on both the left and right side, and in the process distorts my video size. I tried zooming back in to elimnate the black, but still distorted. I tried hitting both fill and fit, no luck as it considers the black on either side to be the normal size now. I am highly frusterated as I cannot find out what is triggering this to seemingly happen automatically, nor can I fix it. To best describe how the video itself looks, it looks pinched, everything looks very thin in the video. Length is not the issue here but width. Can someone please help?

I am trying to make a short clip with two different videos and a fade transition between the two. I have placed a fade transition between the two clips (which are plenty long enough... 30+ seconds on one, about 8 seconds on the other). On the mobile version, I cannot change the duration of the fade between the two. On the desktop version, I can extend the duration of that fade transition as long as I like, but in actuality, the slowness of the fade changes not a jot. It seems stuck at the original setting, no matter what Premier Rush represents. When rendered, I get what I see (a very short abrupt fade), not a long fade like the desktop app represents. How can I get either version of the app to actually give me the fade transition duration that I want?

the reduce background noise works sometimes and others it doesn't. or in the actual project it will work then when exported it's totally different. fix the feature so it actually works and there is a very loud echo so please fix that too. please make a feature where you can customise the frame rate when exporting.

So I have this expression that's supposed to make my shape resize based on the text size. But for some reason, it doesn’t fully cover the text — it only covers part of it. I'm not very experienced with expressions, so I really can't figure out what's wrong. I put this expression in Rectangle Path - Size. Please help.txt = thisComp.layer("Main Text");x = txt.sourceRectAtTime(time, false);txtlong = x.width;sqwd = thisLayer.width;t = time;xPos = easeOut(t, inPoint, inPoint+0.5, 210, txtlong + 210);[xPos, value[1]]

My adobe Rush is not working properly, disappearing audio track, disappearing abruptly. Please help

I am responsible for a lab workflow that produces a number of polygon outputs for analysis.  Part of that workflow has been the conversion of the u3d file format into a pdf format using Acrobat, both for portable, accessible data as well as for sharing with the community and the public at large.  Since yesterday, however, I get an error popup saying that the file is either not supported or is corrupted.  This applies both to recently generated u3d files and to those I have previously already converted to pdf format.  This applies uniformly to Acrobat Pro DC and intermittently for Adobe X Pro.If the format has been suspended, can someone please tell me why?  It is a valuable tool for a number of researchers in our field. If the format has not been suspended, is there a change to the import workflow, for instance, using another Adobe program to make the model ready for pdf conversion?

In adobe rush on iOS, the media selection squares are... square. How can I see the aspect ratio or rotation I'm looking for? There should be a filter at minimum, and at best it should just show the clip in its correct format. Don't be iMovie, there's a reason I pay for the adobe suite because it's supposed to be a suite of PROFESSIONAL products and services.

Pretty rubbish all round. Crashes, lags, is sticky, has pointless functionality like linking clips as you're editing, overriding your own decision making instead of just letting you push and drag consecutively. Am sure iMovie for mob was way better than this. On an Android phone it's just endlessly frustrating. In short, don't use Rush if you're in a rush. You'll be stuck in the stone age chiselling away at a mini movie for millennia.

I know this has probably been requested multiple times but with CapCut and their new TOS update situation going on right now and everyone scurrying to find a new editing software, I believe that key frames would be really useful if available. For example, take the Gacha Creators who animate and depend on key frames, when they want to seemlesly animate with out using another more confusing animation software, they could invest in your app and use it just as easily as with CapCut.

How do you drag around a video with the white hand in premeire Pro like you can in AE, PS, and AI? If the aswer is that you cannot, please just go inhale a vapor cloud of pure covid-19, then feel free to reply asking about my computer hardware.

In 29.6.1, I faced a major major major issue. All those files where an object has double transparency effect - For example1) Apply MULTIPLY effect (Try applying on a gradient)2) Group the object with self (CMD + G)3) Apply SCREEN effect Result - Totally broken preview. Tried changing color settings but no luck. Eventually rolled back to 29.5.1 and it worked.  Anyone else facing similar issue? Any solution?Any suggestion please.  Cheers!!!SK
