hi since a few days , lightroom classic latest version crashes at start , for nothing , I tried to save the catalogue , bu t no way now I created a new catalogue , copied the old in . but now the uploaded photos are not synced . the masks do not update , so all the work it lost and photo can go to the junk . I lost all off my catalogues due to an external disk failure . This means Lightroom will not open I have tried to create a new catalogue but Light room still refuses to open. I've reinstalled Lightroom as per adobes instructions but Lightroom still refuses to open. My next step is to completely remove all Lightroom data on the PC and do a completely clean install of Lightroom starting all over again. Any advice on this approach?

Updated LRC to v15.4.1. Since then I have only been able to use the Develop mode when connected to the Internet. Without Internet connection Licence shows Unknown under Get Info in LRC. Soon a s Internet access is available Licence shows Creative Cloud. Have tried lot of things... As per chat got. Nothing seems to solve the issue.. Tried logging in and out of creative cloud and logging in again.Deleting files to recreate token... Trying to repair Creative cloud app.Any other options other than uninstalling all apps and reinstalling creative cloud and all apps.

Whenever I want to launch/ open Lightroom on my mac OS the icon pops up briefly in the toolbar before disappearing. I updated the computer software, uninstalled and reinstalled the app from Adobe Creative Cloud, did the shift + option combination, gave full disk access, but the problem remains. As a photographer, this is VERY problematic in this high season.. HELP! Screenshot here
It is very frustrating and even more so then when uploading to AdobeStock that my photos get denied because the keywords are sorted alphabetically. Yes I know! Your own software did that!
Lightroom needs to stop re-ordering our keywords into an alphabetical order. People who are keywording for stock agencies and other purposes need to order their keywords most important and relevant first. Lightroom ruins this for us. I can't believe it's version 5 and Lightroom hasn't figured this out. Lightroom is single-handedly ruining our sales based on keyword searches. Thanks Adobe
when trying to use presets I'm getting the error saying some AI models are downloading please try again later. This is making the program unusable.
Windows 11Lightroom 15.4.1I have recently enabled ‘Automatically write changes into sidecar files (XMP/ACR)” - mainly as a safety net in leu of other issues, but that is not relevant here.It took a while for LR to complete the saving of all metadata files - probably 12 hours (259K files in the catalog).I just loaded LR, edited one image in PS and saved. It appeared in LR and then I clicked CLOSE on LR. It warned me that Metadata processing was still busy. I checked the status and 843 files are being processed. The folder I have open only has 744 images.I used Resource Monitor to check what files lightroom.exe was accessing - and it is lots of MP4/MOV/AVI files ... in folders unrelated to the folder I was viewing at the time.I have repeated this and seem similar activity each time.It’s not a problem - but i wonder why it needs to scan video files at all? and why it does this regardless of the images I am working on.

En mode grille, j'entre un mot clé, j'enregistre Pomme+S, je clique sur une autre image et quand je reviens, soit le mot clé apparait, soit il n'apparait pas, soit il apparait avec un astérisque. Je dois parfois effectuer 4 fois l’opération pour qu’elle soit correcte. Je devrais réinitialiser les préfs de LrC ? Merci
This is core to my workflow, an absolutely necessary feature I use every single time I’m editing photos. In the Develop Module, under let’s say the “Basic” adjustments panel, one should be able to adjust values (such as Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, Whites, Blacks, etc.) while hovering the mouse cursor over a section of the photo (in the Loupe View) and see RGB values changing under the histogram.In the latest version, the RGB values are no longer displayed under the histogram while those values are being adjusted. For example, I click the number next to the ‘Highlights’ slider and move my cursor over to a white part of the image. When I press the up arrow on my keyboard to increase the value of that number, the RGB values under the histogram *should* be displayed and also increasing. Instead, they are not displayed at all.I have downgraded to the previous version and the program’s behavior returns to expected. This is a brand new computer, fresh win 11, AMD Ryzen 7 7700X; 3
Please add a keyboard shortcut to update/refresh the masks when underlying changes are made, such as adding a Spot Removal.
There is a scaling bug in the Profile Browser in the Develop Module. The star icons used to favorite profiles are ONLY visible when the Font Size (in Preferences) is set to 150%. If the Font Size is set to 'Medium' or 'Small', the right-hand panel cannot be dragged out or expanded far enough to reveal the star icons, causing them to be cut off. When syncing an AI Spot Replacement edit across multiple photos of the same scene, the tool currently applies the edit based on static pixel coordinates. Please implement a function that recognizes the actual object removed in the source photo and dynamically targets that same object in the synced photos, rather than just copying the spatial coordinates
When syncing a People/Person Mask from one photo to another, the correct person isn't recognized on the synchronized photos if there is more than one person in the photo. Since the mask is already generated using AI, this should really be possible. Especially fun when the people are wearing really different outfits. f.e. I wanted to paste a mask of the grooms suit onto other pictures within a very similar stack of pictures and on all the synchronized photos it selected the white wedding dress of the bride.
Assisted Culling is now generally available in Lightroom ClassicTL; DR: Assisted Culling has graduated from Early Access to General Availability. It gives you a fast, reviewable first pass on large shoots: it surfaces your strongest frames and sets aside the obvious rejects, so you spend less time comparing near-duplicates. You stay in control: review everything, adjust the thresholds, and override any call. If you tried it back in October 2025, it's substantially more accurate now, especially for wedding, event, group, and portrait work. When I want to skip through hundreds or thousands of photos in Lightroom Classic (Version 15.0.1) in the film strip I mostly get this very annoying problem: after holding the arrow key to the right or left for a few seconds it doesn't stop anymore to speed through the images though I'm no more holding the arrow key. Sometimes it's going on for "just" a couple of hundred further photos and sometimes even through thousands of photos until the very last photo in the strip. I can't even stop it.This first started three months ago when I updated on a new MacBook. On my old Macbook this never happened in years. Does someone got an Idea to fix this bug?
