P: Cannot import my XML timeline from davinci back into premiere

Pretty simple problem that i dont have an answer for and could use some help. ive graded my timeline in davinci and have exported such as an xml timeline, now when trying to import it gets stuck at 0% forever . any ideas what could be going on?

I'm experiencing this same issue on 25.1 with a Mac Studio. I'm importing a graded timeline xml from DaVinci and it gets stuck at 70%. What is the fix for this?

25.1 is not shipping, and the current beta version (in which the import progress bar problem has been fixed) is 25.2.
Could you show a screenshot of PPro's About box?

Hi @nicolast55329721 Welcome to the Premiere Pro forums! We are glad to see you here. This issue has been fixed in the current Beta build. Unfortunately 25.1 has not been released yet and Adobe does not reveal release dates.Hopefully very soon but in the meantime the Beta is available. Sorry for the frustration!

I just graded a music video in davinci and exported it as XML to import it in premiere and i get file import failuer message

this is 25.1 version because ive seen that it has been fixed

also in 25.0 version and even in 23.6.8

as you can see in file explorer i do have it in a folder

but when i try (ctrl + i) in premiere i dont even see the timline in a folder.

please help

This is a known issue that has been fixed in the latest beta version of Premiere Pro. I am moving your post to the discussion that has been ongoing with this issue. Look for the fix to also be in 25.1 once released. In the meantime you can import XML's into the beta.

Bonjour à tous,

Depuis que je suis passé sur les versions 2025, il m'est impossible d'importer une composition AF dans PP.

Mon fichier AF est bien détecté, je trouve bien la composition que je souhaite importé, lorsque je clique sur OK j'ai bien la fenêtre "importer des fichiers" qui s'ouvre, mais la barre de chargement... ne se charge pas. Et reste figée indéfiniment. Je précise que j'ai déjà vidé tous mes caches, que j'ai désinstallé/réinstallé les logiciels mais rien n'y fait. Mon problème concerne uniquement les fichiers AF. Je peux importer des fichiers Illustrator sans soucis.

J'ai donc été obligé de repasser sur les versions 2024, avec lesquelles je n'ai aucun soucis.

Voila si quelqu'un a une idée d'ou est-ce que ça pourrait venir, je suis preneur.

Hi @Emmanuel27781246d37q - This is a known issue and is fixed in beta and will be available in the next version of Premiere Pro sorry for the frustration.
