Even though you say the color settings are the same, I would double check to be sure both the file and software are matched in the Color Settings. It's easy enough to manage in Bridge using Edit/Color Settings and ensuring they are synched. If you don't have Bridge installed, go to Edit/Color Settings in InDesign and Not only check the Setting, but the Conversion Options below. If that is different, it will convert your RGB to CMYK differently per user.

Run the CC cleaner tool. This will remove all remnants of CC on your system including supporting files. Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems Even if you think you have gotten rid of everything (or it is gone) please run this first then try reinstalling after a restart.

Do your files have linked assets? A similar thread came up a long time ago and removing linked assets fixed it- one of them was corrupted. Another solution would be to reset your Illustrator preferences (hold Shift+Opt+Cmd before startup).

Are you attempting to save to a network or remote disk? Does the error occur when saving to your desktop? Also, if you upgraded Sierra over CC2015, you may want to try and reinstall after you upgrade your OS. There have been multiple reports of CC2015.x not working fully with Sierra, which was released after 2015. The only other option would be to upgrade to CC2017.

Select the objects, then use Object>Transform>Transform Each and enter a scale value for horizontal and vertical measurements.

8 GB RAM is in my opinion not nearly enough to effectively run Photoshop with a file that large. Even with 16 GB RAM it would struggle to give any semblance of realtime results. I would ignore sending crash log information to Apple - they won't do anything about it anyway and as you noted, it's holding up the recovery process.

A 5gb file is enormous and will definitely tax your system when using complex processes like adaptive wide angle or puppet warp. What are your specs? OS, RAM, HD space? Unless you have a very souped up system, it's gonna fail or run at a snails pace at best.

CS2 has absolutely no guarantees of even running on Windows 10 even if you get the proper activation to work. It is hit or miss at best. As Terri said, it was never designed to run on Win 10 and unfortunately both Adobe and Windows have stopped supporting it outright. If you have been happy with the available resources for CS2 Photoshop, perhaps a good alternative would be to look at Photoshop Elements 15. An easier option would be to sort your linked smart objects and then rasterize them for the "packaged" version (do not save over the original linked PSD). That should convert them all to your current working color space.
