Hallo ich habe das Problem, dass auf dem Windows Rechner Surface5 mit Windows 11 die Clips zu scnell laufen auf dem MAC laufen die selben Clips mit normaler Geschwindigkeit. I've tried and failed at duplicating your issue.  It works OK on my machine.  One possible remedy could be resetting your preferences.  Like some other Adobe apps, when Premiere Elements acts strangely, it can be because preferences get 'confused'.     To restore default preference settings, hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) while the application is starting. Consider using Folders for organizing your storage system.  For Lightroom "Slideshows" consider using Collections.  If you are going to pass image files to another external program, you can export them from a Collection in a batch.    Another way might be to use Keywords for your organization.   ... Video editing software can drive any of us mad!  It is necessarily complex for those that make blockbuster movies.  The trick for the rest of us is to find and use only the parts and tools we need.       If it were me, I would use the "Work Area Bars".  They are markers at the top of the timeline.  You move them with your mouse.  The left one is harder to grab because it is normally partially hidden.    You can also set the left bar with "Alt+[" and the right bar with "Alt+]".   Load the entire large video on the timeline.  Then set the "bars" at the beginning and end of the smaller part you want to keep.  When you export there is a drop down menu choice for "Work Area".   The output will be only the part you marked with the bars.  ... I have a Sony RX100 M7 that is similar in size and shape.  It does the same thing as your Canon.  Part of the Canon and Sony lens magic is that camera firmware corrects for the natural distortion that comes with the complex lens design needed by such small cameras.   The camera bakes it into the image file.  As far as I know, it can't be turned off in either the camera or in Lightroom.      ... I think there is something else wrong.  I'm not sure, but I think the updater program is minor and runs in the background looking for potential updates.       Since you say that it has been running well until recently, my guess is that a Windows update may have caused some changes.   One that sometimes comes up in this forum is Audio Hardware.  Please go to Edit > Preferences > Audio Hardware and select No Input on the Default Input drop down.   It seems that in some computers the audio system starts taking up resources that can slow down Premiere Elements.  ...
