Hi, Yes, HEIF support is included in the Photoshop update released today. New features summary | October 2017 release of Photoshop CC Photoshop now supports Apple's High Efficiency Image Format (HEIF). Photoshop can read depth maps in HEIF image files created by iPhone 7 Plus and later devices into a channel. You can then create a depth-of-field effect in the image using Filter > Blur > Lens Blur.           Note that channel data needs adjustment to work well in the filter. Hi, I'm going to ask further internally, but my suspicion is that you all have custom workspaces defined from previous major versions. Those workspaces have been migrated to the the new major update version and the new tool is not part of those custom defined sets. Hi Paul, We just posted a recent Ps update last week. You can read about it here: Photoshop CC 2017.1 (April 2017) Update Now Available​. The Creative Cloud desktop app also had an update just before that and may have been causing the slowness. Hi, I kicked up a Win7 SP1 machine here and I can create new documents on it. I don't see anything obvious from your system info, either. The video card driver does seems at bit old, so you may want to update that and see it if makes any difference. (Drivers | GeForce ) Another thing to try: 1) Quit Ps 2) Go to C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2017\Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 Settings and move that directory and its contents to your desktop 3) relaunch Ps Maybe something in those prefs. is not quite right. regards, steve ... Hi, I think I at least have a workaround. Make sure to deselect after copying but before going into the Vanish Point filter. Without a selection, the paste board contents are showing up in the upper left hand corner and should then be draggable to any defined plane. It looks like the paste board content gets clipped, by the selection bounds, if you leave the selection active. I need to follow up and see if that is an expected behavior.
