Acrobat Reader

Hello everyone. Can someone help? I really need your help!  MacOS has this great speak text feature: https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/have-your-mac-speak-text-thats-on-the-screen-mh27448/macBut if I select a sentence in Adobe Reader my MacBook only reads the name of the file.  Is there any chance I can adjust it? Greetings, Lena

I self thought myself Photoshop/LR, and I have taken courses in InDesign and After Effects, as a fact, I used to teach your products at University. But I'm done. Your deceptive policy and dark patterns to get people to pay more, subscription-only services.But what really got me, was what you did to Adobe Reader. No, I don't want to subscribe to pro to open a file, I don't want to check my inbox because there is an artificial limit on exporting to PDF. Just NO! Your product is garbage that just wants to grab more money, you have no innovated or added more value in years.

On Windows 10 startup acrobat reader dc opens automatically with error message stating either gimjyxe.ahehnu is not found or corrupt.

 I'm using micrsoft purview information protection to sign in adobe reader.However i do not want adobe to remember my account information by default.How do i change the "remember me" option to be unchecked by default.   

When I use the ~ in a comment, my Acrobat Reader, sometimes, ends unexpectedly - it crashes. I can open the file again and it's possible to open it whitout losing my unsave comments, but sometimes I lose some comments. Is there some way to fix that bug?

Ao comentar um arquivo, quando uso o ~. o Acrobat, algumas vezes, fecha sozinho. Não acontece sempre, mas acontece de forma frequente. Na maioria das vezes é possível recuperar os comentários não salvos quando reabro o arquivo, mas alguns deles ás vezes são perdidos. Existe alguma forma de consertar esse bug?

I have a large document. In the past I've been able to select and copy text - and paste it into another app such as a Word doc. However, of late whenever I select a section of text, even just a few lines, Acrobat Reader goes into 'thinking' mode, where the little icon spins around indefinately, until finally I have to close out of the program.  The PDF document hasn't changed at all, and in fact I've downloaded a 'new' copy in case it got corrupted someonhow. And I did the same by re-installing my Adobe Read 2022 app, which is the latest version. I'm running a Surface Pro 8 tablet with Win 11.  I'm wondering if this is an issue with the latest version of Reader ... or?   Any thoughts on what might be happening or how I can fix this. (PS - the document contains Chinese characters, but up until now I've been able to copy and paste this too, with no issues.) Best, D.

Hello,I'm trying to fill out a passport application PDF in Canada. The PDF is fillable when I open it from link after it opens in my browser. However, once I download it and open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader, aside from a few buttons to save, reset, or print the form (or read instructions), the PDF is "flat" - nothing is fillable. I could only print it and fill it out by hand. In the browser version I can enter data but it doesn't save - I would have to print it immediately. Hi everyone !I'm on Mac.I have a pdf file that contains hyperlinks toward local files.It keeps in opening it with internet instead of the right application (here a mind map application).  Would you know how to set it up correctly ? I'm sorry if my english is not perfect, it's not my first language and haven't praticed it for a while... Thank you so much for your help !!

The one page PDF (output.PDF)1. opens in Chrome (Version 110.0.5481.100) and renders without error.2. when opened in      Adobe Acrobe Reader DC (Continuous Release)  (Windows) (Version 2022.003.20314) (64 bit)      [AGM Version 7.000.00002]      [Cool Type Version 8.011.00002]      [Core Version 22.768]      [JP2k Version 4.000.0000.52132] and then scrolling to the bottom of the page a popup is displayed with the message:                                   "A drawing error occurred." No image is displayed. Adobe Acrobat Reader shows a blank page. The render of the PDF to PNG (from Pdfium) is attached as output.pdf.0.png.  

Hello,can you help me? I use the *.mst file when installing Adobe Reader. Everything worked fine when I installed the 32-bit version. In the 64-bit version, I only use the setup command and the *.mst file is not applied. If I use the command setup.exe /msi TRANSFORMS=”x.mst”, the result is the same. All connectors are still enabled, even though only SharePoint should be enabled and users can still check for updates :(. I am attaching my setup.ini file.

When my readers of my PDFs click on an icon to open a video clip (in a floating window, if that matters), they will see a security warning. In Reader - though not in the main Acrobat app - the error message has checkbox saying 'Do not show  this message again', which is great for me since my PDFs (and there are many) can contain 100 or so tiny videos each. Unfortunately, this choice is not remembered when re-opening the PDF - one has to check the 'Do not show this message again' all over again. In a prior version of Reader, one could turn off the launch warning permanently for a particular PDF by going to 'Edit > Preferences > Security (Enhanced) and un-checking 'Enable Protected Mode at Startup'. But this no longer works in my latest version of Reader, which calls itself 2002.003.20314. I should mention that these videos are linked initially in Microsoft Word, and get transported over to the PDF that Word creates. I have done everything. there is no command or option for my Adobe acrobat to update automatically, yet it does so every time I open it and it won't let me use any tool while it does it. After it starts, it never finishes.basically im paying for Adobe to update. thats it.Iv followed every internet blog command or request or suggestion. here in the picture, you can see, its disabled, there are no other options and it still downloading (right top hand corner)and then this apears every time I try to use a toolTHIS IS TOTAL BS!!!

Bonjour, Nous ouvrons a travers notre application (GED) un PDF formulaire qu'on veut completer et que pour le fichier s'enrgistre dans notre GED je doit desactivé le' Mode Protégé' dans Adobe Reader. J'ai vu qu'on pouvait faire des régles "pour autoriser" certain élément à ne pas etre prise en compte  par le mode "protégé". J'ai pu indiquer le chemin ou les fichier temp (pdf) etait   et cela fonctionne : FILES_ALLOW_ANY=%LOCALAPPDATA%\**\* est-il pas possible de autoriser une application au lieu d'un chemin?Car j'ai essayé de rajouter ceci (sans la partie en haut) PROCESS_ALL_EXEC =C:\Program Files (x86)\xxxxx\TheNxxxx.exePROCESS_ALL_EXEC =C:\Program Files (x86)\xxxxx\Thexxxx.exe et cela ne fonctionne pas Merci d'avance pour vos conseil  

Hi,In our Citrix XenApp environment running Windows Server 2019 we are unable to open PDFs directly from the Open button (or double-click). There is the error - There was an error opening this document. This file cannot be found.We can open the files from within Adobe Reader or right-click and choose Open with Adobe Acrobat Reader 2020.The same error is received when opening attachment from Outlook or copying the file locally to c:\temp, as we normally use redirected folders for desktop and documents. The issue is not experienced with Adobe Reader DC but is with Adobe Reader 2017 Classic as well. I have been through all articles pertaining to this and tried all settings within preferences / registry. To note, we are using FSlogix for profile management but the issue occurrs with accounts not using FSLogix so I do not believe this to be an issue.I have re-installed Reader on the golden image using the Adobe cleaner tool.  Any ideas would be very much welcomed.

Acrobat Reader does not start anymore:OS: Windows 11ProBehavior: Each time the executable is started two processes appear in Task Manager but the application does not start.What I've tried without success, the above behavior reproduces every time: - Restart/Shutdown several times- Started Adobe Reader with Administrator rights- Uninstall/Reinstall latest version- Deleted the following folders (after a comunity resolution). After a reboot, deleted the folders, then AC Reader started. Closed it and the second time it failed to start, see the abobe behavior: c:\Users\{user}\AppData\Local\Adobe folderc:\Users\{user}\AppData\LocalLow\Adobe folderc:\Users\{user}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe folder PS: After a while (several minutes), sometimes, each second Windows process returns an error (see attched), and the process terminates:Title: Something went wrongMessage: A running instance of Acrobat has caused an error. Thanks in advance!

Email button in PDF form as default old email program Outlook 2007 32Bit (mailto Outlook 2007) on Windows 10 no longer works since the latest Adobe Reader 64Bit update. With Adobe Reader 32Bit it works fine. Can they look at the problem with Adobe Reader 64Bit and release an update?  With current Outlook it also works with Reader 64Bit & 32Bit, but it would be really great if it would also work with older Outlook 2007. 3 weeks ago it worked fine, since the last Reader 64Bit update it suddenly doesn't work anymore.

Good morning and greetings. I work for a large healthcare company in sunny Central Florida as a member of their IT department and we have stumbled into a strange issue concerning Adobe Reader. A large number of our users across the organization have encountered an application error related to the program. It seems to happen with a number of different versions of the application on multiple devices running Windows 10 Pro version 10.0.19042. Auto updating has been disabled for the application and no Windows updates have been performed since the creation of this post. I have attached a screenshot of the error to this post for reference. The only solution we have found is to reinstall the application to a newer version, 22.001.20169 that upgrades to 22.003.20314. This may not be the most current release as far as Adobe is concerned, but it is what our company considers current. While we are grateful we can fix the issue, we are not certain what is causing it and appreciate any feedbac

Why??The Chinese Charactor is too light when using Adobe Reader 2020 to view the PDF generated by Foxit EditorHowever, no such problem when the same files viewed by Chrome and Foxit Editor   

Aside from all the developers who need to have Reader installed to test files with, while simultaneously having Acrobat Pro installed to actually make the files, what about anyone who just wants both. Maybe I don't want Adobe activated on one machine but don't want to spend hours uninstalling it only to re-install later. Maybe I just like having both.There is absolutely no good reason to block the programs from simultaneous installation. Adobe could block simultaneous use if they can't function in tandem, or have PRO default to "Reader only features" while not activated...but right now Adobe are only ensuring I don't use Acrobat for anything.

A vendor used one of the work PCs for a presentation. It looks like the vendor installed some Adobe software on the PC and uninstalled it when the vendor was finished, Ever since that time. whenever the user tries to print a PDF file from Adobe Reader, the user gets the message, "initialization of the rasterization module failed." If you open the PDF with either Chrome or Edge, the user can get the PDF to print just fine. If you logon to a different user ID on the PC like the administrator, you can also print PDFs from Adobe Reader. We have uninstalled Adobe Reader from the PC and re-installed it but that did not help the user. We have uninstalled Adobe Reader, downloaded and run the Adobe Creative Cloud Removal software, and re-installed Adobe Reader but that did not help the user either. We have tried to perform a manual cleanup of the Adobe Reader software after uninstalling it by deleting any Adobe files or directories in C:\Program Files\Adobe and C:\Program Files (
