Got no reply to this in the Reader community (asked 5 days ago) so I feel justified posting here: When you start the installer for Adobe Reader  (the free version) and click "Show information about the publisher's certificate" it reads: Valid from 19/22/2020 to 22/12/2022. This may not be a big deal (at least Windows doesn't give a warning) but it does not inspire confidence either.

Hello, I'm trying to download the 64-bit version of Acrobat Reader but on the download page, after selecting OS as Windows Server 2012 version dropdown is listing only the 32-bit version of the application. How can I download the latest version of 64-bit?

For help write now I am adding English alongwith Japanesse or Chinese doing this makes file name longer.I wonder how many characters should be in a file name? Hello,I have a real head-scratcher here. We have a single user who cannot properly see a PDF file that was sent to us by a customer. When she opens it, it displays Wingdings-like characters in place of the actual font used in the PDF:However, whenever anyone else in our company opens this same file, it displays normally. The PDF does not have embedded fonts, but the only fonts used in the document are Arial and Times New Roman. We are all using Windows 10 OS. I checked the user's installed fonts and Adobe Reader settings vs mine (I can see it properly), and they all match.I've also attached the file.Any help would be greatly appreciated. This seems to be the only problem file for this user but I don't want the issue to crop up repeatedly.

This appears to be an ongoing issue for the past several years and I am still experiencing what so many others have found. There is a problem printing a LARGE (100+) PDF with mixed legal and letter sized pages using Adobe Reader on a Mac with a Brother laser printer. I think that Adobe support has not been able to recreate the issue because their test file has only two pages. If they create a 100+ page test file with mixed letter and legal and they should be able to replicate the issue. Here is what I have: I have a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) running Catalina, Brother HL-L6200DWT printer and using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2020.009.20063. I want to view two similar PDFs side by side.  I open them and select two-page view the two pages are not synced.  The page on the right is scrolled (or something) about one-half page down.  I cannot see the top half of the page on the right.Show cover displays only one cover (or the first page), not both.  And still, the pages are not synced. How can I sync the two files displayed? Thank you,Terry Ryan

I am getting  error "The Shared Folder Location Provided is not valid" when trying to connect for shared review. Find some details   - We are using Apache Web Server. -  when connect to old server https://xxx.com everthing works fine, but my company wants to connect it to a DR server so when try to connect "https://yyy.com getting this error. -  DR server has modified httpd.conf and 443-adobe.conf, 80adobe.files.- I compared these files on both xxx and yyy servers and tried to make them same.- Not sure why able to connect first server but not the second one.- please let me know if needed any other information.- urgent help is requested as our DR already delayed due to this.

I look after applications for the company I work for and I am trying to find out, if people want to use Acrobat Reader on their business owned laptop, and would be installing it directly from the adobe website themselves, do I need to apply for a distribution license for their use on Corporate machines, or do I only need that if I am distributing it from a central point in the network?

I've got a form80 i need to fill in, up untill last week i was capable of filling in the formfields but today it suddenly won't let me do it anymore. It makes some sort of error sound when i try to type. Very frustrating since i've been working on it for hours!I hope somebody can help me. I have a SharePoint online (Office 365) doc library with pdf files.  The users need to be able to click on a document and have it open in Acrobat the same way a docx files opens in Word. They need to be able to check in and check out the document, make edits, save it back to the server, and then close the file, the same way it works with Word.  I've done extensive research into this only to find out I need to edit the DOCICON.xml file on the SP server.  Since I'm on SharePoint online, I'm not able to do that.   Also, I've read that an Internet Explorer Add On called "Adobe Acrobat SharePoint OpenDocuments Component" is needed to make this work.  I don't have that add on, and I can't figure out how to add it. any help would be greatly appreciated.    I'm using acrobat XI Pro, SharePoint Online 2013, and IE 11   thanks,

Before you reply with "Remember current state of the Tool Bars pane", been there - done that.  Everytime I open a doc I get this: So annoying.  I dont' want to "Discover" anything (read - spend money with Adobe".  And if I want the bookmarks, I will open them myself.  I just want read the document.  This is driving me crazy.  Any ideas on how to permantly hide this crap?  Thanks in advance for any advice.   

Every time I open a logo design in Acrobat Reader CC, the colors are different than the colors in Illustrator, Indesign or Photoshop. The reason is not because of a wrong colormanagement. I already checked this a several times and I'm sure that's not the problem. When I make a screenshot from my design in Acrobat Reader CC, the colors of the screenshot (PNG) are the real colors (the same colors as the colors in Illustrator). These colors are different than the colors in Acrobat itself. In the past the colors in Acrobat were right when opening the program 3 times in a row. When I opened up my designs for the 4th time, the colors were different. When I Removed Acrobat from my pc and downloaded the program again, the colors were again right when opening my design 3 times in a row. The 4th time the colors were wrong again.  Since now the trick above doesn't work anymore. Even deleting and downloading the program again isnt't working. I also tried opening my designs

I am having an old PDF that was created with Adobe LiveCycle Designer 11.0.They used simple fillable textboxes, but on the right side of it you see a plus and a minus button.With the buttons you can add (and remove until only 1 is left again) as many more textboxes below as you wish, and all the content below the boxes is automatically moving down (even on to a new page).Is this feature possible with Acrobat Pro – and how??? Unfortunately the old PDF from LiveCycle is somewhat superprotected, so i cannot look into the Files details.Many thanks in advance for any helpA.

I installed Adobe Reader DC 22.003.20282.0 on a laptop today and there was a popup that said Adobe collects usage data information, and no option to disable it. There was a 'learn more' link but I did not have time to investigate. Now I am at that laptop again and I don't see a way to disable it. I have checked Preferences and the Help menu. Adobe's help article for Adobe Product Improvement Program says: To stop participating,Choose Help > Adobe Product Improvement Program.Select either "Do Not Participate," "Don't Allow" or "No," depending on the choice offered. The problem is, that's not actually an option, there is no menu entry for Adobe Product Improvement program. I am trying to attach a .docx file to a PDF of an application. The application requires supplemental documents, the templates for which are best delivered in .docx/Word format. I have used both the attachment option in the "Edit PDF" tool and the "attach file" option in the comment tool. The end results are that the attachments work very well in Acrobat and in Firefox, but they do not funtion at all in Chrome or any other Chrome/Chromium-based browsers, like Brave or Edge. Is there a solution?

So i am running the most up to date version of acrobat and its been very glitchy and crashing all the time.  Whenever i use the measure tool the menu buttons will not display.  if i click the blank space it will let me use the measure tool but im just clicking the blank banner.  Also having trouble printing and its been crashing whenever i click the "file" button on top left menu bar.    

I have the latest version of Adobe Reader running on Windows 11. Just recently when I open any pdf it opens minimised and at a % lower than 100. I have tried for hours to change this so that ALL pdfs when opened by Reader open maximised and at 100%. Can I get it to work?  Can I heck!!!!!!  This has only started recently so I guess it is due to an update of something. HELP PLEASE!!!  How do I do it for ALL pdfs, not just a specific document?  Thanks.

I work on OpenOffice. I've always used PDF form to protect my documents, and work, and haven't had any problems until now. Acrobat Reader is all over the place and impossible to open files (yes, I know, we can use "open with") and if so, it's an editing app meaninganyone can copy, modify, work on my docs which is not the objective. This is not what I need nor want, but PDFs as before. Most annoying. Any sugestions? 

Revisting an old Adobe Acrobat Reader DC problem that clearly hasn't been solved yet, at least not in version 2021.007.20095. We have a couple of servers producing PDF documents that are being emailed to customers. The PDFs are produced using Adobe Distiller 7.0, quite old but worked perfectly under Windows 7. After upgrading the servers to Windows 10, that is no longer the case. At times, PDF documents are produced with odd fonts names, e.g. ''CJIBJN-ArialMT", which Reader cannot find and cannot match so it produces a document with dots instead of text wherever that font is used. Sadly (for Adobe) Chrome, Edge and FoxIt opens and displays these documents just fine. FoxIt replaces the strange "CJIBJN+ArialMT" font with FoxIt SansMM which works just fine. Acrobat Reader, instead, displays (in Document Properties) "Unknown font" and the dots mentioned above, A last piece of information about this: if I open the file AppData\Local\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\AdobeSysFnt21.lst and

I am trying to print a file. A tubling e chart from allaboutvission.com. https://cdn.allaboutvision.com/images/tumbling-e-chart.pdf  The chart looks normal in view mode, but when printing it has overlapping text.How can I remove the overlap and print what is seen when the file is opened?How it this even possible and can it be removed from the file?

Hi! I have created a virtual family history in 'pages' with over 1000 pages and 2000 photos, 2,6 Gb. After exporting the file into pdf format photos closer to the end of the file get randomly scattered, which brings the whole history into chaos... Could you help me fix this problem?
