In the past, when I have wanted to change the scale ratio in Acrobat Reader, I would select the measuring tool and then right-click on my document to get a menu from which I would select "change scale ratio."Starting this week, the "change scale ratio" option disappeared from the right-click menu. Screenshot below of the menu I get when I right-click.Is anyone else running into this problem? MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1, Acrobat Reader v2024.002.20736.
Où trouver la fonction "Prendre un instantané" (capture de l'écran) ?
How do I get to the preferences when I cannot get Adobe Reader to open? I am running on a MAC. The problems started when Adobe updated to the new version where they constantly want me to buy the reader. I cannot buy it. I just want to read my documents, not modify them.
I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2017 Release Version 2017.009.20044 on a Windows 7 computer. Every day or every other day I notice that Acrobat starts to open all by itself usually while I'm entering data into an Excel spreadsheet or something. This does not happen on start up but what appears to me to be at random times throughout the day. And twice it tried to open with a window that asked if it was OK for Adobe to make changes to my computer. This was strange as I was doing nothing with PDFs, Adobe, Acrobat, or any other thing that is even remotely connected to Adobe in any way. Is there any way I can stop this from happening?
I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro on windows 10. I open my PDF file and when I select the read out loud option it tells me "warning empty page". The page is not empty, I can see the text, what am I doing wrong? do I need to convert the file in any way? It seems to be looking at it as a picture because when I try to edit it picks up the entire text as one.
Dear community! After updating Acrobat Reader to 25.001.20623, certain embedded JPGs in PDF files are being displayed in a corrupt way, apparently with an invalid color profile - see screenshot attached. Is this a behaviour anyone else might have experienced? Looking forward to your responses! Best regardsTom
We have Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructure running virtual machines with Windows 10 Enterprise for Virtual Desktops. We have multiple users accessing each virtual machine. Some of our users require Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, and some require Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.It appears that once Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is installed, it removes Adobe Acrobat Reader DC from the virtual machine. Is there anyway to have both installed in parallel so that users are able to use either version based on their needs. If possible I'd prefer to not split my virtual machines into VM's with only Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and VM's with only Acrobat Pro DC.Thanks in adance.
I'm using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. When trying to pick on a chapter (link) , a Security Warning pops up that states "this document is trying to access: \\users\manoj.manjhi\desktop\TOC_Conklin\Untitled-1.pdf" If you trust this document, choose Allow. If you do not trust this document, choose Block. I chose Allow. The next pop up states: Acrobat Reader... The plug-in required by this "GoToR" action is not available. Information about the missing plug-in may be available on Adobe's Website. There is no mention to the actual plug-in name required. How do I get this problem fixed? Thanks in advance for your time and help.
I have a problem, several hours reading and testing with no luckI have multiple invoices files in pdf format. The original logo company is blue, when I open this pdf in any PC (tested with diferent pc), the result it's always the same: when I open the file with ADOBE [Acrobat] READER the logo change to green color (wrong color)when I use adobe [Acrobat] reader, chrome, edge or other pdf viewers, I can see the file with the right color (blue)I tested this in a lot of windows pc (i dont have any mac arround at this moment) the adobe [Acrobat] reader version is always the lastest (automátic updated)thanks! [ "Acrobat" added by moderator. Adobe is a company; Acrobat Reader is the application ]
Right clicking or left clicking on any menu bars brings up no drop down menus. I see page up and page down buttons but no "back to previously viewed page". I found that Alt+< works for a keyboard command but that is seriously cumbersome. Who wants to keep a keyboard in their lap and then have to use one hand to press Alt and the other hand to press the left arrow key evertime you want to go back to the previously viewed page instead of just one click with one hand already on the mouse. I looked for options in preferences and see nothing. No view options, no menu options.
Hello. My system:Windows Server 2012R2.Virtual machine on vmware esxi. I decided to understand this problem, reinstallation does not help. Hello, I am encountering a frustrating issue where I am unable to open PDFs within the Acrobat chrome extension. When I first open the document, it will briefly load in Adobe Acrobat, then quickly redirect to displaying the PDF in the defualt Chrome PDF viewer. This makes me unable to edit PDFs before printing them. We use this process everyday and have never had an issue until now. I have also tried simply opening the PDFs in the desktop version of Acrobat, this works, but I'm given a vague simply stating, "The document could not be printed, kindly use our help page to troubleshoot." Any help would be greatly appreciated.
after installing acrobat reader from microsoft store when i click on reader iconbelow window appears!?
I have PDFs stored in a Word folder. I'm in File Explorer right now trying to delete some old PDFs from a Word folder. Every time I right-click a PDF or a group of them, Word opens instead. I need to get rid of unneeded PDFs. How do I do that?
The issue is: When I set text style in a comment to superscript, Adobe displays it as subscript in the comments column. So 5superscript2 would save as 5subscript2. When I open the comment, it displays correctly on screen (5superscript2), but when saved it shows as 5subscript2 in the comments column.[Unsurprisingly I cannot format superscripts/subscripts or in this post either, so had to use text to describe them!] Is this a widespread problem with Adobe Acrobat Reader 2024.004.20243?Will Adobe ever fix it?
I had this problem around 1.5 years ago and it took Adobe a while to fix it. Since doing a system update on my Mac yesterday, I am having this problem again. My OS is 15.6.1 and my version of Acrobat Reader is 2025.001.20630. If you open Adobe Acrobat, on the left sidebar under "Other file storage," there is an option to "Add file storage," however, that has no option for iCloud Drive. Hopefully Adobe can fix this problem so it doesn't keep happening.
I have updated to Adobe Acrobat DC and can no longer select blocks of text in pdfs. I have the select tool active, I am trying to select a whole sentence to highlight. I am using a pdf in which I have previously been able to perform this function. I am trying to place the curser at beginning of sentence and drag to the end of the sentence to select whole sentence before I highlight it. I can no longer do this WHY? It's driving me mad.Hoping someone can help
After updating Adobe Reader to version 2025.001.20630 (32-bit), some files began to display incorrectly. For example, instead of scanned documents, there is just a jumble of pixels. The 64-bit version works fine, but it cannot be installed on Windows 10. Although Windows 10 is also 64-bit. When I select the 64-bit version on the Reader download page, the 32-bit version is installed.
Hi,since several days I have the issue that the Popup is shown, although Acrobat Reader is not running: Adobe AcrobatAn internal error occurred. Adobe Acrobat ReaderContinuous Release | Version 2025.001.20643 | 64-bitWindows 11 Version 24H2 (Build 26100.4851)
Hi! I'm trying to distribute Acrobat Reader DC for windows, app version 25.001.20630, through Intune.Install command I've tried:setup.exe /sAll /rs /rps /msi EULA_ACCEPT=YESFor the vast majority of users, this causes: Fatal error during installation (0x80070643).It seems to install either way for most users, but it appears in "discovered apps", and shows as "failed" for the win32 app I created. Any suggestions? 🙂
HI CommunityI'm on an iMac OS Ventura 13.7.8. When I've opened up several of my pdfs, the Adobe Acrobat Reader is asking me to sign up for a plan. Um, is there a way to read my pdfs on my computer for free?Thank you,Lucinda
When I am opening some documents , it prompts me that I am missing the font pack , but none of the font pack in following link (https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/font-pack-spelling-dictionary-64-bit-windows.html) is installable in my machine.
Adobe Reader is Lagging and Slow. To the point where it has become unusable on my 16" Macbook Pro 2019. It becomes most unusable when scrolling through large PDFs with multiple pages. The application laggs far worse than stock macOS 'Preview' app which runs smoothly. Have I got a setting wrong? I am using default settings from a fresh install.
