Adobe Media Encoder

Hi! Trying to create proxies for 4K footage from Canon C70, using the method of right-clicking my files in Premiere, choosing Create Proxies, and then Quicktime/Low Res ProRes (I'm on a Mac). Footage is from a 2-camera shoot; all of the files on one camera have proxied just fine except ONE file; all files from the other camera keep failing, with the below error log. I'm using the 2021 Premiere/Media Encoder version, I am resistant to constant updates and also won't be surprised if the answer here is just... to update. still! Any insight helpful! Issue; Media Encoder maxing CPU utilization even if the app is closed and no renders are happening in premiere proSpecs:OS; Windows 10 Virtual MachineCPU: Intel Xeon Gold 8248R at 3.00GHz24 CoresHave determined that update to 23.6 solves the issue

On Windows 10, Windows 11, Mac OS 13.2 Whenever you select a composition in the file browser in AME it still brings up the window to re-select the composition from the encompassing project. However when you make any selection (correct or incorrect) the window vanishes before you can hit okay it loads the correct composition anyway. Here is the order of events-User opens AME-Selects Ae project from file browser-AME file browser shows enclosed compositions within the project-User selects a composition from the file browser-New window pops up inviting the user to select any composition from inside the Ae project-user clicks on ANY of the options-window disappears before user can click 'okay'-composition originally selected in the AME file browser is loaded to the queue 

Over the last couple of days, Media Encoder has been distorting my After Effects shots on export. So far, either my 4K shots are exporting out cropped in, or in my 2K shots, part of the image is on the wrong side. This has happened both exporting ProRes and H.264, but for whatever reason, this effect doesn't happen when I export DNxHR. It also doesn't happen when I send my After Effects shots through the render queue. When I noticed this issue, I updated to the latest version of Media Encoder, but this has been of no help. Any advice? I've attached a screenshot of the glitch.

When I render any video using encoder (haven't tried direct renders from After Effects) The footage is shifted as seen here Video example 

For the last week or so, whenever I open Media Encoder I get the following error message:"The procedure entry point could not be located in the dynamic link library c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder 2023\OCIOWrapper.DLL."I've already tried downloading and installing Microsoft Visual C++ updates, unistalling and reinstalling Media Encoder and it still comes up. The program works fine after I dismiss it, but it's annoying and has never happened before.I'm running the latest updates of Windows 10. Any idea how to fix this?

Everytime I use media encoder it adds a bunch of seconds of black screen to the end of each edit. If i use premier exporter with the same footage it deosn't. Very annoying. Mac book Pro M1 ULTRA23.6.0 premier pro23.6 media encoder

When rendering videos with Adobe Media Encoeder exported from Premiere Pro, fonts I'm using are randomly having some characters swapped to a different font.The text in question is in a MOGRT designed in AE, not sure if having another program in the chain is the issue (although all CC apps marketed as working together so really shouldn't be.)Here is the preview in Premiere Pro:Here is the rendered output:Here is a second go at it, gee getting closer to usable:Why?I have tried:-Using studio drivers and updated (phew, just avoided 20 responses with that)-Uninstall/reinstalling AME-Clearing prefs-Cache directory isn't full, also cleared cache multiple times and no changes-Restarting my computer so so so many timesWhy?

Bonjour, Depuis l'insatllation de media encoder sur mon ordinateur je n'ai jamais réussi à faire de vidéo mp4, l'encodage s'arrête toujoiurs avec un message d'échec en me disant que mes fichiers ont été déplacer ou supprimer OR je ne déplace ou supprime jamais rien. Avezvous des pistes ?  Merci

Since update 23.1 I haven't been able to export any video with the h265 codec. All the video files are unplayable or don't allow the video to be scrubbed through. To elaborate, the files will play but stop playing the moment I try to scrub through or click anywhere on the timeline. I'm using finder's preview feature but even opening the files in Quicktime or VLC have the same problem. Most of these renders are over an hour long, so simply letting the video play to see if the render is successful is not an option. I've tried changing many render settings to see if I could remedy the issue with no success. H264 works just fine. Prores in both 4444 and 422 flavors work fine.  I've tried every update, uninstalling and reinstalling, and IT even upgraded me from an M1 Max Macbook Pro to M2 Max during this time so I had all apps freshly installed with only my personal files being moved over to the new computer. I'm stuck at version 23.0 of the app until this issue is fixed.

help!exporting to a jpeg sequence with sRGB darkens my images.. pretty sure the export color space to either sRGB or Rec709 is a new feature, why is it darkening my output?

i need help,this sh*t app is 3 gb for the hard disk,i need that hard disk space so much,i cant unistall,i tried literally everything,im so angry. When i go to windows applications there is a button for unistall,then adobe opens and i have to log in,THEN THE PAGE WONT LOAD and i cant unistall,i installed many app for unistall adobe media encoder but i just cant,then the adobe online support is literally useless,so the last chance is you guys,pls help me

Hello, I updated Media Encoder (Beta) to v24.0.0.48 (2023-08-26). I am not given the option to open it, only Buy Now or Try. I am logged into account and all other beta versions are accessible. When I click Try, it takes me to an upgrade page to change my plan to All Apps/Services, which I already have. Please advise. Thanks!Bob

I'm experiencing an output audio lock-up in AME when trying to export multiple items in a queue. I'm not fancy so I'm using the built-in presets for Facebook, YouTube, and only one minor custom for a server we use. The problem is, I am able to successfully export per preset, but when I duplicate the original and change the preset per output (3 files) it stays on the preparing audio dialog and eventually locks up. Currently exporting seperately which causes AME to render 1, then move on to the remaining vs. simultaneous. // I'm replicating a workflow I had been using on my Mac. Just moved it to a faster Windows machine.

I thought to leave this for a a week or 3 as updates rolled out but this issue is still prevalent. It's like a ghost entered AME and moved the x and y position of the h264 video completely off. Win 10Latest Adobe4930k cpu780ti

When I export a premiere file to adobe media encoder, I always have a part of the left image at the right edge of the image. I can not see the mistake before in premiere. When I just try to export within premiere the audio export rendering stays minutes long at 0%, Therefore I switched then to media encoder. How can I solve this?

Good day Adobe, Ever since the 2023 update, and it took us a while to discover, when we export MP3s at 16K, the encoding automatically ups to 32K. Whether we export the MP3s manually or use a preset (old or new), from Premiere Pro or send over to Media Encoder, the 16 kbps automatically exports as 32 kbps as reflected in both file size increase and what the files properties detail tab shows. Furthermore, this is reproducable on multiple  workstations. Example screenshots attached. Screenshots 

I've encountered a bug when making proxies from DJI footage (h.265 HEVC). I've been doing this for years with Premiere/Adobe Media Encoder, but the process is now broken in the 23.5 version (possibly earlier versions of 23 as well). Essentially, when I create the proxy file in Adobe Media Encoder, it rapidly transcodes the file (much faster than it used to take) and the resulting file is unplayable, either inside Premiere or using a standard video player. The frame freezes up rather quickly in the video and it won't play. The original file will also no longer scrub in the timeline. The proxy file plays back as black. To test whether it was something I was doing, I ran the same file through Adobe Media Encoder 22.6.4 and it plays back just fine. Something seems to have changed in version 2023. If I switch AME 2023 to software engine only, the resulting file will scrub, but I'll get something like 1 frame every 2 seconds. My export comes with weird color : yellow/unsaturated when exporting on Media Encoder (see pictures to compare) Even with different settings (had to export projects H.264 and MFX). When I render directly on Premiere it is fine. Someone could help me with that? 

I have turned on 'Burn subtitles into video' in the export settings, but it doesn't work. Flicking it on and of sometimes does the trick, and it's not clear why. Checked it multiple times, also updated everything. Seems like a bug, and a pretty annoying one if you have numerous amounts of assets in different formats. 

I keep on recieving an error for my video, its supposed to come out around 50 minutes but sometimes when I export it I recieve an Error and the other times I export it it will play for 8 minutes or so then skip to the end even the the mp4 file reads 50 minutes. M2proのMacでMediaEncoder 23.6を使っていますが、選択肢の中にDCPがなくなっていました（IntelのMacで使っていたときにはDCPデータの書き出しができました）。ネットでいろいろ調べたらアプリケーションの情報を見るで「Rosettaを使用して開く」の項目にチェックを入れて再起動したらDCP書き出しが使えるようになるようなことが書かれてあったので、挑戦してみましたがダメでした。

In the latest version of this program none of the upload direct to social media features work. I have tested with various sized videos (1920x1080, 1080x1080, 1080x1920). All videos under 5mb and 10 seconds long. Twitter fail message: "The video must be 1920 by 1200 or less, 60 FPS or less, 140 seconds or less and 512MB or less, progressive, mono or stereo AAC audio"All videos work uploading direct to Twitter. Vimeo fail message: " Vimeo - Could not obtain upload ticket" Please help i am using this automated step regularly. Thanks 🙂 M
