-- I'm running Premiere Pro CC 2018 on a macbook pro 15" running High Sierra 10.13.3 --I had previously opened Premiere at home with my dual monitor setup. Now I'm on the road and when project opens the top windows are off-screen:When I select a different window arrangement, it gets worse:I can drag the bottom of the window and resize it but I can't get to the top to arrange it.Here's how I have attempted to fix it:- Hooked up an additional monitor. When monitor is attached I can move windows, but the moment I unplug monitor, the windows go back to original off-screen position (no matter where I had placed them while add'l monitor was running).- I uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere. Same problem as before.- I restarted Premiere while holding the option key (to trash preferences). Problem still there.- I created a new project. No change in problem.Anybody have a good idea? So i need help with overlaying my clips onto the same background. I have my main image in V1 and i want to have multiple images to after each other. But the problem is when i place a second image on the background, then the first image goes away. I want all the images to stay on the background. So does anybody what to do in this situation?

The following Object mask issues make its use rather complicated:Object Mask + timeremapping: when used together without nesting, the mask is tracked at a normal speed, lagging behind or going further from the tracked object:Applying the object mask and THEN timeremapping brings a visual glitch during the remapped part: This visual glitch remains even if after the timeremapping you nest it and then track and apply the mask. RateStretch + render and replace - object moves inside the cutout, though without rendering the mask is perfect: Reversed time and object mask freezes the mask when rendered and replaced: Transform + Object mask - object moves inside the cutout (I don’t need to mention that motion blur is available only in the Transform effect). Only nesting helps but in some cases to apply certain effects you have to nest the nest inside the nest which totally ruins the workflow: The same happens with any other transform effect. But at the same time transitions work alright, affect

If I have an interview with somebody who has recorded their own audio, the conversation between me and them is on 2 different audio tracks. But when I try text-based editing using 2 (or more) audio tracks, it doesn’t work. Because the transcript in the Program Monitor can only follow one of the transcribed audio tracks. This means I can’t read the conversation. In the picture you can see the conversation skips from 01:58 to 03:25, so it’s missing the transcript from the second audio clip.I have transcribed all audio files. I can see them in the Source Monitor, just not in the Program Monitor.  On top of that: I can’t seem to even SWITCH between the different clips in the Program Monitor. The Program Monitor really seems to be stuck on just the first clip I’ve transcribed. How is this possible? Am I missing something here? It seems like it should be a very basic feature in text-based editing. 

issue: selecting Browse or Custom in the Creative section of the Lumetri panel is broken.   how to replicate the issue: open Lumetri panel, navigate to Creative section, next to Look open the drop down menu and click Browse. For me, this doesn't open up the file explorer window to find my LUT file, it simply loads the SL NOIR TRI-X lut for some reason. Manually selecting other LUTs from the drop down menu, and selecting None all work fine. It's only when selecting Browse or Custom that this happens.   version: 25.2.1 build 2 (also happened with the version immediately before this one)   OS: windows 10 home Build 19045.5608

Hello.Fit to frame not working properly. Yes, FIT TO FRAME is selected BEFORE importing the clips.When I select an in and out from the source window and drag the clip without sound, the fit to frame feature works and the clip stays at 50% (FHD sequence with 4K clips), if I drag the clip together with the audio the clip doesn't fit to frame ands stays at 100%.This is ridiculous everytime a new CC comes out something is broken that wasn't before.CC2025Macbook pro m3 max

I updated to PP 2026 and upgraded my previous 2025 project to the new year version. Now PP is basically unusable it's awful. Constant rainbow wheel and frozen every other click. I literally can not use anything and now I cannot access my project file in the old 2025 version which works perfectly since I already upgraded the project file and their not backwards compatible and Adobe has no tool for this and the 3rd party tools that do exist are not working to convert the 26 file to 25. I need help on this ASAP I have the fully maxed out M4 Max laptop and editing the best SSD's you can buy so its not a hardware issue, its once again as always an Adobe issue, If this does not get resolved I am canceling my years of membership tomorrow and switching to DaVinci for good. Thank you

Hi all! Searching to see if anyone can help me out here, I'm having a fairly annoying issue with CC.17 (2017.1.2) where my playback monitor is continuously positioned off-centre (and therefore cropped) -- either Premiere is interpreting the position of my monitor incorrectly or is being fed an incorrect position by the OS, either way it's totally beyond my technical know-how to fix and am looking for some help, I've attached a screen grab of the issue as I see it (primary monitor in the centre with two smaller HD's left and right, the left hand monitor should be full-screen playback) also attaching the system display settings for all three monitors along with a system overview -- system is running dual GeForce GTX 1080 Ti's, Current Driver Version 385.41Primary Display: Dell PQ2715QSecondary: 2x DELL U2414H All connected by HDMI Any help at all would be hugely appreciated,Cian

I don't know if it's just me, but the new forum is freezing. Sometimes it takes everything necessary to close and reopen it, and to close it I have to use the Windows Task Manager to end tasks because when it freezes, even the browser doesn't work to close it.

Issue – When using Grow FX or Shrink FX (and possibly some other FilmImpact FX) with a white image over a white matte, you can see an outline of the image’s edge. This is likely present with other combinations of images and colors as well, but it is more visible with white on white. Steps to reproduce –  Create white matte on timeline. Place an image over the matte on the timeline. Apply Grow/Shrink FX effect. Expected result – The image should grow or shrink without a visible outline. Actual result – The image grows or shrinks with an undesired, visible outline. Screen recording – Recording attached. When "Show Audio Time Units" is enabled in the timeline, the Control+K shortcut does not cut at the sample level. Instead, the cut snaps to frame boundaries. However, using the Razor (Blade) Tool allows accurate sample-level cuts as expected.Steps to Reproduce:1. Open a sequence in Premiere Pro.2. Enable Show Audio Time Units in the timeline.3. Zoom into the waveform to confirm sample-level visibility.4. Place the playhead between frames (not on a frame boundary).5. As my last documentary project took ages to load on startup, I would like to try premiere productions. On short form films it works fine so I read the "best practices" guide, but didnt find what I was looking for. Whats the best way to organize your project inside the production so it starts quickly and everything is availabe?In the traditional project I have a folder with footage for each day and corresponding sequences with all the footage so its easy to preview and log footag.Should I put the footage from every day with those sequences into a seperate project per day in the production and then add another project for the final edit? 

I'm unsure when this started, and I've made sure to update my software just in case, but I can no longer find any file by searching within the bins in my projects. This doesn't happen with effects, but purely in the project window. It's really slowing down my workflow for searching for a quick graphic or music file during an edit. I can't find anything on google or this forum that helps with this problem.I've tried clearing the cache, updating the software. It just won't come back and I need to try and get it fixed ASAP if I can.Any help would be reatly appreciated. To illustrate the problem, I attach 2 photos. One with an unfiltered bin showing a file with "radio" clearly present in the name, then with the word being searched and it showing none of the files, even though several radio imaging mp3s contain this word.  

I tried using premiere 2026 and it won’t open without closing or crashing. I’m not even trying to open a specific project but it closes on the home page. I’ve updated my graphics driver and even tried re-installing the app but neither of those worked. Any suggestions?Running on a windows with a Intel Core Ultra 9 and GeForce RTX 5080 and a z890 Aorus Pro Ice Motherboard. I’ve included a video in case it provides clarity.

While starting/stopping playback and attempting to scrub to find specific frames, the Program window just doesn't respond like it should. It hesitates before starting playback, and there are times it just can't handle scrubbing at all. Sometimes, in fact, the video freezes while the audio continues playing. Here's everything I've done, after spending countless hours researching. I typically take home movies with my Google Pixel, so I understand I'm already in trouble due to VFR. So I convert the VFR files to CFR ProRes Proxy files using Shutter Encoder. I attach the proxies to my raw files. I create a new sequence I have the Adobe software on my system SSD, my video files and proxies are on a second, internal storage SSD, and my cache directory is set to a third SSD (external). I delete the cache often (likely unnecessarily). I've checked boxes to use the GPU wherever I can. I've read, however, that certain processes never use the GPU and only use the IGP.&nbsp

I bougth the “Digital LED LCD Clock Maker” template from Adobe Stock.Importing the module to the Time Line is ok. In the Effect Setting window, a couple of parameters like Font, Time and size settings appear and can be set.But whatever the setting is: No clock function, no time count, only one fixed (frozen) display according to initial settings.(tested with Premiere 2025 and 2026)
