After effects is now launching I disabled all fonts and all plugins and reset the prefrencesI deleted the cache and did every possible thing but nothing is workingI unistalled and installedI tried multiple versionsplease help what can I do more?

Hey,  I'm having this issue that might be easy to solve, but I just can't seem to do it. I need to do a mock-up of the bottom comp on the curved screen image on top. It's a static image so it won't require and tracking, but I just don't know how to do it - I've tried a lot of distort tools and combinations of them, without much success. Any ideas? thank you!

Does anyone know if there is a way to disable or customise the new AE (17.5.1) splash screen?I don't know why but I find having to look at 'REE ANC' every time AE starts up far more irritating than sad PS lady. I tried the -NoSplash trick with the shortcut path but no joy.

I'm not sure why but every time I render and export my after effects project, the final outcome is blurry. Imagine the sort of thing when you are trying to watch a youtube video on mobile data and the quality is reduced because its trying to load the video. This doesn't happen for any of my other projects which are not using the 3d camera so does anyone know why the 3d camera is causing this to happen?

I just bind the Position with an epression to an slider FX effect("Slider Control")("Slider") but in Premiere, the mogrt does not work. The slider is there, but nothing happens

ive been using after effects for a while now and never had a problem but now all the sudden whenever i render a video its terrible quality. i made my composition from my footage and it looks fine in after effects but when i render the video from after effects using any footage without editing it at all it looks terrible. all the render settings are completely default and im exporting in h.246 mp4 format. ive attatched the raw video and what it looks like after exporting and screenshots of all the export settings. i got 1 error that says itll change the output from 60.026fps to 60fps so audio may not synch but i googled it and cant find a way to fix it. the error only happens when i change from avi to mp4 and if i export in avi it looks fine. although ive been getting this error since i started using ae so i dont think its the cause. clips were recorded on my phone and sometimes the frame rate varies by a bit but has never caused a problem before. please help

I was just editing in After Effects and Illustrator, then I saved the AI file, but all the AI files that were already uploaded to After Effects disappeared (I think it's because I saved it twice). does anyone know how to restore these files? i really need it for my uni assignment😭 I’ve tried replacing the file with the same one, but it still appears black😭

As soon as I switch the project to Advanced 3D Renderer, all the layers disappear from the screen.But when I switch them back to 2D, they reappearI will work with 3d objects so I have to work on the advanced 3d renderer note: I don't face this problem when I work on the classic 3d or cinema 4d 

HiI'm rendering a 6 minute video in after effects. It's been going on for over 14 hours and stuck on 89% done. Any suggestions to fix this? Thanks

Just got a Mac Mini M4 Pro (12-Core CPU, 12-Core GPU, 48GB RAM, 512GB SSD), but I’m running into slow 3D rendering performance in advanced 3d. Even simple animations aren’t previewing properly, and renders are taking much longer than expected. The scenes only have 3-4 .obj models and a hdr model. Strangely, my older machine (Ci7 12th gen, 32GB RAM, 4GB RTX 3050) renders 4x faster. I’m using After Effects and default settings. Running MacOS sequoia 15.3.1 (24D70). Could this be a hardware limitation or a setting issue? Anyone else experiencing this with M4 chips? Any fixes? 

Hi, I've been a long-time user of After Effects, and today I've encountered a very unusual and project-breaking problem, which never happened before. I was working on a pretty heavy map-based documentary on After Effects 23.2, and everything was working great. It was opening and saving with all the plugins. However, today when I opened the latest version of my project, it didn't open. It just kept on freezing the loading bar. This file was opened on the same version of After Effects less than a week ago, and today it suddenly stopped working. Not only that! But every single auto-save of this project just keeps on crashing my after effects! Every single one of them! This is just for the documentary on Cuba, the same stuff started happening with the other one and same issue, not a single after effects auto-save was working. They all kept crashing.Here is what I tried:1. Renaming2. Clearing Cache & Media3. Importing into a new project.4. Installing new version

Hi there fellows!I just installed the update to the new Particular 5 - and its just so slow to work with? Has thsi happened to any of you guys.I have a powerful system and the old Particular worked way more smooth - and i tried to reinstall all red giant. Have not uninstalled After Effects - as I dont want to install all the 50 plug-ins again 🙂

Greetings all, (Apologies if this isn't the correct place to ask this question and I hope I'm not breaking any guideline rules.) I'm using the plug-in Joysticks N' Sliders to animate a project of a character playing the drums.  But I've ran into specific use-case obstacles that tutorials on the plug-in don't quite cover.I could ask a dozen questions on the forumns and Youtube channels hoping for a response but, I think in this case, it'd be best to just pay someone for their knowledge/experience and get guidance in order to continue the project as its a useful plug-in I'd really like to become better at. Officially: The question here is where can I go to find someone who's willing and able to teach Joystick N' Sliders? Hi everyone, I think my After Effects and Premiere Pro are crashing. Every time I try to drag a .mogrt file into the timeline, the applications immediately close. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm having what seems to be a viewport rendering error. For example, I have a 3d nested composition with collapse transformations on. In that comp there are a few other nested comps all of which are 3d and have CT on as well. So I have switched all layers to 3d layers and have CT on all the way down. The problem occurs in the main comp when zooming in or out with a camera or rotating the layer. the nested comp doesn't keep up with the preview or freezes entirely.  It will snap into place when I stop the preview or clear cache. I've tried reinstalling AE, gpu drivers etc. Thanks in advance for any help. After effects version version 25.1 (build 68)Windows 11 version 10.0.22631 Build 22631 

Hi, I'm trying to implement a scrollbar for a script in After Effects. I don't know how to code, so I asked ChatGPT for help. Everything is working fine except for the scrollbar's position in X. What does the code do?It creates a list of 15 white rectangles in a resizeable dockable panel.
