After Effects

Wenn ich mit dem Roto-Pinsel-Werkzeug in einem Frame etwas bearbeite, rendert es dies auf alle nachfolgenden Frames auch drauf. So macht es aber auch fortschritte wieder kaputt, die ich zuvor gemacht habe. Kann ich diese Funktion ausschalten, sodass das Werkzeug bei Benutzung nurnoch diesen einen Frame verändert und nicht alles darauf folgende?

I get this error when launching AE: After Effects error: Crash in progress. Last logged message was: <24820> <DynamicLink> <5> Increase wait time to 2 The program previously worked just yesterday but today I can't even open it. The application crashes before I even have an option to "Reset Preferences" or "Start in Safe Mode." I have uninstalled and re-installed, restarted computer, and updated GPU drivers, but to no avail. Also updated all other Adobe apps, including the CC app. Tried running previous version of AE (23.6.9) and it doesn't work either.Trying to upload the crash report but this site doesn't support the file format that AE generates, kind of ironic... uploaded a screenshot of what I could, and can provide it if needed for further investigation.PC specs:OS Windows 10 Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5960X CPU @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz Installed RAM 64.0 GB (63.9 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor GPU NVIDIA RTX2080Ti

Hi, I'm trying to use text with ligatures in After Effects, but it doesn't work. I have checked the box that says "Ligatures" in the Character Panel. I'm using the font FFF Acid Grotesk, that shows ligatures when used in Photoshop and other software. Copying + pasting the glyph from Photoshop into AE does not work. Any ideas? AE version 23.0 (Build 59)macOS Ventura 13.2.1

hello! i just downloaded ae again in my new laptop and added a new sapphire plugin. i was about to edit and i decided to use one of my presets that included the effect s_shake, but it lightly glitches everytime i activate the motion blur effect.  However it only does when i use a preset. I've tried recreating the preset through the effect panel but it still did not work. Please help! 😭🫶🏼

Hi all:Apologies if this is a super simple question. I just haven't been able to find an answer in the forums or on the web.Taking on a project from another studio and we're trying to figure out all the missing files and relinking them. One of the issues I'm having is that I can't seem to right click on the File Path column to copy the file path. We're sending the paths to the previous studio by email to request the missing media.Is there another way to copy the file paths? Or even better, to batch get all the missing file paths?We're currently using After Effects 2015.ThanksM

Hi, I recently began working on my home computer (A Windows PC) and have been using files I formerly worked on in the office (on a Mac). When openning AE files with Photoshop documents embedded in them, I'm getting the error "Photoshop Library operation failed" once for each layer in the file, and then all fail to load, and connot be relinked. I have no idea what's going on, as the files open perfectly fine on the Mac at my office and I believe both machines are running the same versions. Google hasn't been helpful, and I don't know what else to try. I have tried: alloting more space for both disk chache and memory, reinstalling after effetcs, and installing and older version of  AE (17.5.1), all to no avail.Help?

Is it possible to install al older version of After Effects on Mac iOS 10.15.7? The button for older versions is not available in the Adobe app

I had an earlier post about this where I said I had been having issues with Roto Brush not working and I thought I fixed it because it then worked for that clip. De unos dias para aca el after effects no abre tengo un IMac 27 - 2019 3.1ghz intel core 5 con Big surf funcionaba bien, ya lo he desinstalado e instalado varias veces y nada ... Alguna ayuda por favor

Hello - when creating a shape layer or composition in my 3D space, the bounding box is off center. The shape appears to be outside of the composition it's in... If i create a basic shape outside of a comp it does the same thing. I'm working in 3D space with auto orient set to "orient toward camera" but this still shouldn't be happening. Seems like a bug? 

I have two shape layers set to the center of the comp, i applied the fromcomp expression to the transform position of the shape group (not the native transform position), to reference the position of the other layer (The Native Transform Position).I understand what world space and layer space is in After Effects and the expression seems to work fine, but when i move the layer the other layer with the expression goes in the other the direction.Why does it move that way. 

Hello, I'm a beginner in After Effects and Dimensions. I would like to make the effect of a letter expanding horizontally  - giving the perception that the letter moves sand while doing it. I'm not sure which tutorials/key words I need to study to learn how to do this. Is there any one that may give me advice?

Hi. I'm testing rendering 3D and seeing that Subsurface materials with subsurface don't produce accurate results. Is this probably a known current limitation, or am I missing a step or setting? The test render isn't the greatest example, but on the Redshift render, there is clearly subsurface scattering happening, but not on the AE render. 

Hi.There is some issue with the Adobe aftereffect rendering process, I'm trying to render in a 1695x1080px and set up the comp size accordingly but after rendering the video is coming out in 1694x1080px. I've also checked the media encoder before rendering and the resolution is changing there as well, which I'm unable to change back to 1695px.

After effects 2024Windows 11I was just opening After effects and all of a sudden it pops up a window saying something about project files error, and then somewhere in the text it said .old or something. It then closed and I reopened it and all of a sudden, my preferences reset to default, the color UI is back to normal, my shortcuts are gone, and my recent project file is broken, "cannot read."

After Effects is causing a memory leak. The problem started yesterday.I encountered a similar issue a few months back where Beta programs were the cause, I no longer have any Adobe Beta programs installed due to that issue.Starting in safe mode with 3rd party plug-ins and resetting preferences has made no difference.The issue starts once I open any project and continues until AE is terminated or crashes due to a lack of available RAM.I've updated the GPU driver and that has not fixed the issue.Windows 11 is also up-to-date.I'm working on a Windows 11 PC with the following build:Intel Core i9-12900K 3.2 GHz 16-Core ProcessorMSI MAG Z690 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4 ATX LGA1700 MotherboardGeForce RTX 3080 10GB LHR 10 GB Video Card64GB (4 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory I use Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign every day; none of these programs are having any issues.

can somebody help me or help me find a tutorial for this text effect. it looks like it is being scanned. i cant really describe the animation. 

Saludos, publico por primera vez para saber que tan seguro es actualizar a MacOs Sequoia mientras se este utilizando la versión 24.1.0 de After effects, no puedo actualizar AE por temas de plugins que necesito, anteriormente utilizaba la version 2020 de AE, pero con MacOS Sonoma, no podia abrirlo, y fue un verdadero dolor de cabeza. Quisiera saber si alguien ha tenido la oportunidad de probar y comprobar que por lo menos la versión 24.1.0 es compatible con MacOS Sequoia, o si hay algun link donde pueda ver la compatibilidad de ello, muchas gracias, estoy en medio de proyectos, quisiera actualizar Mac, pero no quiero arriesgarme de nuevo.

Hi all, I have two kinds of problems with this animation:1 - Moving the 3D camera forward is jerky.2 - The edges of holes in the “grid” where the cup lands are jaggedI don't have much experience with 3D compositions, so I'm asking for help in understanding what the problem might be. Could it be due to composition or software settings unknown to me? Or does it depend on the hardware? I hope not!
