'Paste reversed keyframes' doesn't reverse the easing:

I'm on Windows 11 and I'm subscribed to Creative Cloud. I have the latest versions of CC installed, including AE, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, etc. (no other add-ons installed). I have 64GB of RAM installed with a 12-core processor. My sweet spot for memory is to utilize 40GB for all Adobe programs (leaving 24GB for others I needed to multitask). When I set the 24/40 ratio in After Effects memory settings (which auto sets the same value in my other Adobe programs), I noticed is randomly changes these settings if I close the program and check it again. I've seen it reset itself to everything from 0GB for other programs (with AE taking up all of my RAM), and even randomly setting it to 56GB for Adobe and 6GB for other programs. This setting used to stay fixed after the first time I set it, so not sure why it's sporadically changing. 

Huge bug discovered in version 24.6.0, at least for me. I use text presets I have created that I use all the time. I cannot apply these now in any of my text layers. It appears to apply the preset, but the keyframes are somehow being spread apart all over the place, sometimes hours behind on the layer and completely broken. I even tried copying and pasting the actual Animator from one text later to another and it also breaks. Please fix this pronto! To follow up, I just exported and opened the same project in 23.6.9 and the presets worked fine on the same text layer. I then pushed the latest version of AE back to 24.5, and the same bug occurred although I swear they were working in this version before. I then pushed it back to 24.4.1 and the same bug! Same for 24.4. I then pushed it back to 24.3 and presents are working again? Out of curiosity I just opened the project in Beta 25.0.0 (Build 30) and the presets are broken in there as well! Version 24.6.0Ventura 13.6.9M1 Max Ma

Would be great to have a wider choice than blinding white, neutral gray or super-contrast black. Can we get some happy medium option so the contrast is not so extreme? Can we also fix it so that older Script UI Panels don't get cropped and broken like the image attached? Both cannot be used because it crops the righthand action buttons off. This happens in both the current 25 and in the beta.

I have motion graphics project, where we shows prices of products and price numbers are linked by expressions to controller.In after effects 2023 everythink works well, but I can not switch to new versions, because then displayed prices are mixed and flickering between different numbers every few frames.. It is obvious that this is bug in AE24 / 25. When I resave it from AE23 as xml or AE23 project and open it in AE23, it starts working well again. I can share project for further investigation, if someone want to observe..

Has anyone else had their working custom UI and/or arb params start to flicker in Ae 2025? From what I can gather, it's affected multiple devs work including red giant, rowbyte, irrealix, aesweets and my own. Example UI flicker in trapcode particular The symptoms are intermittent flickering, and if there are multiple custom params modifying one can cause the other to flicker. All these examples are working as expected in Ae 2024.  In my case it is affecting custom UIs drawn with both drawbot and cairo. It is also affecting custom UI params, not just arb params. I've tried:setting / not setting PF_PUI_DONT_ERASE_CONTROLRemoving the update param UI selector Any ideas?

In the GERMAN AE Version, i still can't import 3D models.Like years ago, it says: 3D Model for use with Thrapcode.I have to change the AE language, then it works,but this will break many expressions. And in fact,i am paying for this, so this is not my job.And come on Adobe, it's 2025, this is a rookie coding mistakesomeone should fix after years.Just get your things done!

Hello, I have a medium-end spec PC and yet AfterEffects is super slow even with an empty project, moving just one rectangle drags the image! Working on larger projects becomes impossible. PC specs are as follows:- AMD RX 6600 XT- Ryzen 5 3600- 32gb RAM- 2x 500gb SSD

The line returns inside the Markers Comment are automatically removed, pushing all the contents onto one line. The issue only happens with AE 2025 on Mac OS, not in 2024 or AE Beta.

I have encountered that problems with after effects and could not start the program. If I restart my pc and reopen then it works. But if I close and open it again, it didn't work. Please help!Thanks

Hi,Lately, it's been a real pain working with After Effects. Most of my time is spent restarting my computer because every time I open my project and try to preview it by pressing the spacebar, this happens: I move back by one frame, and the animation doesn't play. In arabic text, when we make stroke it strokes every character, it's fine when we have fill color, because we can make the option "all fills over stroke" but when there's no fill it gets ugly like this, we have to fix it  it should look like this  

Hello Community, After Effects is yet again getting stuck on the Launch/Splash Screen after ''Initializing MediaCore". I'm running AE 2025, but this exact bug has happened with previous versions. I have uninstalled and reinstalled AEI have reset prefsstarted in safe modedisabled pluginsI do NOT have norton or any other antivirus installed.It is not a firewall issue.It is not a connection issue. I have gig speed internet I have updated nvidia drivers and I have also tried rolling back nvidia driversI have rolled back to a different version of AE. Nothing works!!! There is no crash log because i have to force quit the app. The only thing that does work is to reformat the machine but that is not a viable option and i am not doing that again.  @Adobe we pay too much money for a creative cloud licesnse for this to keep happening, this is unacceptable! After these images AE Crashes! Any help!?I've tried reinstalling Cinema 4D and that didnt work so I went back to an old restore point but that didn't work either. I reckon it might be something to do with the Files? Also i Checked in the Addons Folder using Adobe App and that didn't work either.  Any help is highly appreciated!   

So I get crazy pixel crash/lagging in a few frames in the whole project. Why does it do this? Ive tried everything but it doesnt work.   Title edited be Mod.

After effects crashes when it does not find a dropbox file, maybe beacuse it has not been made available offline. 2 weeks ago After effects woul let me know that there was missing footage, now it directly crashes and I have to force quitting the app. I have tried everything: reset default setting, cleaning cache, duplicating the files, and the problem continues. No information anywhere and it seem to be an after effects problem. Anyone there to help?

Issue - h264 footage appears to be causing AE to crashAdobe After Effects version number: 25.1Operating system OSX 15.3.2 - Macbook Pro M1 Max, 32GB Steps to reproduce - Import any h264 footage, create a comp with it, scrub footage in comp, works for a little while, then hangsExpected result - Be able to work with h264 footage without need to transcodeActual result -  After Effects crashes Doesn't appear to happen with other codecs. I tried clearing All Cache which doesn't work. Hardware acceleration has been tried on and off with same results. 

Layers randomly disappear from the Timeline window, but the video is still viewable and playable in the Composition window. I need to shut down the Timeline, then reopen it, and the layer reappears. This happens almost daily. I'm on a Mac Mini M4 running Sequoia 15.2 and AE version 25.1.0ChatGPT responded: You're not alone—this issue has been reported by other After Effects users, though it's not extremely common. The problem seems to be a UI glitch where layers remain in the composition but disappear from the timeline panel.

hello, i have rendered to mp4 via both AE render and Media encoder but the files are rendered damaged with black screens. The same files can be renderered lossless to avi without issues. And if i convert those avi files to mp4, the result are damaged files again. I have tried to render another project in mp4 but they are damaged. i have uninstalled and installed AE back but it is still not working.Is there any way i can reset or reinstall the codec for mp4?

When I hit space bar to preview the timeline the visuals play for rounghly 2s before the audio kicks in. The audio remains in sync but there is always a 2s deleay before it starts.This is apparent even on all comps I'm working on and I've even tested it on a blank comp with nothing but an mp3 in it. the play head moves for 2s before the audio catches up.I have also tested this in a workspace that has 0 additional third party panels and the issue is still there.This issue is new to Ae25.I'm working from macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 on an M1 mac.Using After Effects Version 25.0.0 (Build 53)

Reproducible only on macOS Squoia - calling this ExtendScript function:var path = "~/Desktop/Scene01.idm"; var file = new File(path).saveDlg();resulting in a default file name inside the opened file-picker dialog that contains a duplicated extension name: "Scene01.idm.idm" instead of just "Scene01.idm". This only happens on macOS Squoia(the latest major version), and in addition - only for "non-standard" file name extensions(something that's not a "*.json" or "*.txt" for example). Attaching a screenshot for a demonstration of the resulting unwanted behavior.

My issue is that whenever i am working on a project and the color space is set to Sony S-Log3 (any variation) the lumetri colour doesn't seem to transfer when using Dynamic link. I have check and the footage is in the same color space in AE as well. any help? cheers

Estou com problema problema chato no after effects, toda vez que eu vou fazer Stabilize Motion aparece a tela preta por causa do tracker da camera, mas o problema não é esse, é ainda mais complexo. Para resolver a tela preta eu coloco o efeito Motion Tile, só que o mesmo fica apresentando umas linhas pretas no video... Alguém sabe como resolver? Ou não tem solução? Estou usando o After Effects 2020Windows 10 Pro
