After Effects

yo, so i was editing like normal and when i opened up my project file the next day this error occurred when i previewed my main comp. It only shows up in the main comp and idk why. I saw people fixing (512) 25 :: 241 but that doesn't help me. I can preview single frames with the timeline but i cant play it, so idk what could be the problem. When i open up my project again i can preview like 4 seconds but then the error occurrs and i can't play anything. Here are my specs:RTX 3070 i7 10700K tell me if you guys need more info this is my first post here48GB DDR4 

Basically, like the Subject says, I don't really know what to do now, is there any way at all to go back or to transfer it? I'm new to the app, and sorry for the bothering if there's someone that can help me.I was on version 23.3 I think.  This is an important exam so that is why is important. Ugh this error is killing me, and I have searched the forums here, but it doesnt seem like therre is an answer....It works fine on my machine at my office, but the office is closed. After effects keeps crashing after about 5 minutes of use with the error message saying (37::3) and something about not enough ram. This is just shortly after starting a projects and starting to animate. I have 64 gb RAM installed and really thought this would be enough for normal 1080p animating.... Please help, this has rendered my first week of AE useless...

Everyone who uses ae 2021, I would like to ask how to fix this errorWhen i just enter after effects, if i use the effects and presets bar, drag and drop the fx into the video is still normal, but when you use the search box, the effects and presets bar is stiff and can't drag and drop effects. Can you help me?🥺🥺🥺

Hello, I get this message when double-clicking on the AE file(photo below). If I drag and drop the file into AE it does pull up but makes a duplicate of the main comp. Everything is there too so it's not necessarily corrupted. When I drag and dropped the file into AE it comes up as a untitled file when I go to save instead of the original name. I did save a test version which pulls it up when double-clicking but I have to go into the project panel and click on the main comp in order to open it fully. This file has been linked into a premiere pro sequence too which I'm not sure if that has any effect on it. I'm wondering if there have been any issues with this before or if there is some fix for it.  Thanks for any help you can give!  

Hallo!  Ich nutze die aktuellsten Versionen von Premiere und After Effects auf einem MacBook Pro 16", Ventura 13.2, 96GB Ram und habe Probleme bei der Wiedergabe meiner Timeline auf meinem externen Monitor BenQ PV3200PT, MiniDP auf USB C, 60hz. Wenn ich in AE oder P meine Timeline auf dem externen Monitor abspiele ruckelt es wie wild. Ziehe ich AE oder P auf den Monitor des MacBooks läuft alles smooth. Wenn ich zB AE halb auf den MacBook Monitor ziehe und halb auf dem BenQ habe läuft auch alles smooth. Sobald AE komplett auf dem externen ist, ruckelt die Wiedergabe wieder.  BenQ ist schon komplett zurückgesetzt. Ich weiß nicht weiter.  Hat jemand eine Idee?  Herzlichen DankRoman

When Mac OS connects to a WiFi network, it will prevent conflict by renaming the machine to the current name + a number.After Effects stores the cache data by the machine name. This means if a machine is renamed multiple times, AE will not detect the cache going over 100GB as it creates a new one. This has led to 1.3TB of Caches being stored for me and AE unable to detect the presence of these files and purge them. Renaming the machine back doesn't help and it is still unable to detect the older files.It does not read the Cache location folder size - it assumes it's database is working properly and doesn't touch any other files.Solution is to manually trash previous versions caches. 

I recently bought After Effects so I am not super familiar with the program, so this could be a stupid mistake, idk. All clips that I import are completely black. I have tried to reinstall the program, however, this has not worked. Audio clips that I have imported also do not play at all. This all started happening after my After Effects crashed earlier today. I have AE 2023 and am on Windows 11 64-bit. Any help or suggestions would be great! Thank you!

In the final render a disappearing and flashing top part of a layer can be observed while the layer is sliding along the Z axis, only happens in the final rendered file and in the rendering progress view. The problem is random and on every render it flashes the layer at different frames. AE 23.4, windows11, rtx3090 

Hello, Please help me, I've been struggling to export/Render my project. Whenever I tried to export them through Render Queue or Media Encoder, they would either say "failed" or (shown in the picture below)"After effect (Beta) error: An unexpected error occurred while exporting a composition. Error Code: 1Please restart After effect and retry the export" My Other projects recent project was successfully exported, it only accrued when I start the new project. is there anyways that this issue can be solved? I'm very sure my GPU was enough, I've bought extra for my After effects work but I'm very frustrated on how to fix this is issue, I've made 2 new projects again and it still the same issue accures. Thank you for taking your time for reading and I really hope I'm able to get the help I needed to solve this stressful issue.   

I see solid green bars in the bottom 1/4 of the frame for exports.The first render does it fine, after the second render it does this problem.It comes in 1x1, 4x5 and 9x16 formats. apple proresthe temporary solution to deliver the job was to close after effects to reopen for each render.imac 20198gramdespués de los efectos 22.6.4

I'm not a tech whiz or AE knowledge whiz by any means, so if any of this is phrased poorly I apologise. I recently upgraded AE to 23.4, the most recent release. I updated not necessarily because it was the most recent but because I was enountering an issue in 23.3 where my footage would get stuck on a single frame in the composition panel, even after dragging the timeline indicator away from the frame it was stuck on. It would just get stuck on that frame indefinitely, and if I entered a different pre-comp whilst its stuck and used the timeline indicator there it would flicker from black to having the whole composition box itself disappear. Then, if I tried to ctrl+s (for fear of an oncoming crash), the entire application freezes on the '0% saved' screen and says 'not responding' for 20-30 seconds, saves and then resumes like normal. A few adjustments later, the cycle repeats. I updated to 23.4 with the hopes of fixing this issue but to no avail, its still persistant and is s

Dynamic link server connection doesn't work on my Mac M1Ventura full specs... Warp stabilizer and camera tracker don't work... and unable to render via Media Encoder.... all because of this silly Dynamic link bug.Of course I tried to reinstall from scratch but same result. I looked up in the internet and plenty of people seem to experience he same issue. Any solutions Adobe...????? 

Hello,Im trying to motion track a person in a project that I am doing on after effects but the problem is it doesn't say track type or track target it just says the clip I'm using and tracker 1 on it and stabilise motion etcDo I have to download something for me to see it(picture above is better explained)

Main Issue:For the past few days I've tried to export an after effects composition to AME. Absolutely nothing happens. When I try to manually drag the composition to AME and change some export settings, I can't get past the Connecting to Dynamic Link Server loading screen. I've also tried to use Warp Stabilizer on a clip, but keep getting the "unable to obtain dynamiclink server connection" error popup. Other things:Premiere Pro and AME work just fine together.I can get a linked sequence into After Effects, but with no audio.I can't Import an composition to PremiereI've clean reinstalled everything multiple times.I've reset preferences, workspaces, etc. on all apps.I've tried using older versions, same issues.System Information:Windows 1032GB of RAMIntel 17-6700AMD Rx 580 (latest drivers)CC apps are installed on a separate SSD as my main OS drive is full.

Hello! I'm working on a mograph project and I'm running into an issue with my exports not matching what I am seeing in AE. My color workspace is set to sRGB IEC61966-2.1 and on export AE I make sure the color space is the same. I've tried the QT-Gamma correction LUT avenue but the colors are still not accurate. Also when I try to export into a QT file (Animation Codec) and then encode the file to a .mp4 in Media Encoder the colors get desaturated. When I import the .mp4s into AE the colors match but when viewing in QT or outside of AE the colors are washed and for some comps, the colors are shifted. When doing research I saw that this might be an issue with QT and when you upload to a platform the colors should then be corrected but that's not the case, the colors still are off.Another issue I noticed is that when I have AE and Illustrator files open side by side the colors are not even matching there and I double-check that the color spaces are both sRGB IEC61966-2

Hello, I don't know if it's have been always like that, but I think not :Since the last update of AE (23.4.0), once you render, there is not anymore the possibility to CTRL-Z.Which is annoying ! Any advice ? Thanks

Autolink doesn't work in after effects. I already tried to empty the cache and instal an scriptUI but it doesn't do anything.. I cant' relink hunderds of files...How to fix this?

Since the new update the filter Color Correction > Curves is now missing. Has it been migrated to another place? Opening up existing projects with the filter prompts the problem that the filter is missing, causing a pain for our current work. "Curves" has always been an important and basic colour-correcting tool.I hope a bug fix come to fix this one.

Hi, I hope everyone is well. I use a Macbook,Version 11.7.4, and have After Effects, version 23.4. Whenever I try to render my project, the exported file is glitchy and nonexistent. The rendering itself works yet the product is nothing like what I want to export. How do I fix this? (Screenshot is what is being rendered, video is product)

I've tried deleting old configs, reinstall GPU driver but it seems like the beta version works totally fine.PC specs attached as I can't upload the crash dump file

AE23.4If an image sequence is used in multiple locations across the project, when updating the source either by reloading footage or replacing footage, if the new source has more frames, the outpoint of the footage layers does not update according to the outpoint of the new footageIf the footage is only used in one location the footage outpoint will always update according to the new source footage

If you publish an After Effects Team Project, the other team members can not open or edit the comps, or even see the layers with the compostitions.The comps have  been "baked" into a single uneditable compostition.   Version 23.4 (Build 53)Mac OS
