After Effects

Guys please help! I need AE for school and this keeps popping up! I just deleted my Cinema4d AND THIS KEEPS ON HAPPENING. Please help

Can you pleace fix Error Code: (0 :: 9997) and 9994 . I'm getting it allllllll the time.But it's inconsequential as it render the scene some times, but not all the time, and I've not done any thing with the scene. I guess it's an EXR error and better EXR support should have been fixed a long time ago. And why is EXR so damn slow in AE? I like AE, but it's bringing me down. Using EXR in davinci is not comparable and render that stuff in secounds. EXR is a standard in VFX and 3D so pleace add better suppert and yes Iæve updated my ProEXR so many times.

Up to date AE Cloud 24.6.7 Mocha® Pro 2025.5 v12.5.0In Mocha pro I created a powermesh track of a moving face video track. In Mocha the mesh tracks and warps with the face. In AE it does not move at all.In the underlying track with the face, render is turned offIn the overlying track with the mask that I want to track the face, render is on with warp stabalize.

When I add Linear Wipe, it wipes with the same color as background. Can I change that?

AfterEffects SOS!I am having the weirdest issue with layers randomly becoming transparent in AfterEffects.The layers are originally created in Illustrator and imported into AfterEffects. They have no opacity settings on them.All the layers have no transparency effects on them in AfterEffects.The file and layers have 3D camera effects (X axis) on them - this may have something to do with it.Sometimes when I open the file, it's restored. Other times, the layers come out semi-transparent.I cleared out the cache and memory and that seemed to work once. But now it no longer fixes the issue.I'm completely stumped. I don't know if it's a hardware issue or a bug in AfterEffects.I have attached pictures of what it SHOULD look like, what it's coming out like and the layers/settings. You can see the 'Ring' 'Ring' and the phone is semi-transparent, but the rest of the scene is not. All elements have been imported from the same Illustrator file.

It shows this message and doesnt open:  Last log message was: SonyRawDecoder Found compatible GPU device for SonyRaw decode support..  Generating crash log, which may take a few minutes.

So i have this weird error that i cant click away it keeps saying internal verification failure {invalid index in indexed group} i dont know what to do and i cant restart my laptop or power off. I dont know what i did but its really annoying please help i cant even restart my laptop. Btw i do this on a macbook

I've used AE just once to animate a graphic for this promo eleven years ago.  After getting frustrated trying to persuade Photoshop to do what I want with a video timeline, I have bitten the bullet, and decided to get even more frustrated with AE.   This is for the SFTW threads that we run on the Photoshop forum.     My idea is to make a kaleidoscope using four layers of the same still image with two of them mirrored, and mask the relevant quadrant of each layer.  My problem is that I can't get the mask to stay still while I rotate the image behind it.  Google mentioned the Pan Behind Anchor Point tool, but I I need to rotate rather than pan, and I'm not getting it anyway.   It must be doable. Can someone point me in the right direction?  Thanks.   BTW All are welcome to the SFTW threads, but I'm thinking that if you guys joined in, us Photoshop types would give up and go home.

Hi, guys. Please help me out, I've been struggling with this glitch on my rendered footage. It is a 1 second H.264 4K footage. I used Rotoscope 3.0. And I did rotoscope frame by frame and freeze it before the render. The frame rate is 59.94. I made sure the frame rate is matched with the original footage when I render. The render is fine when I use only roto brush, however, When I use the fine tuning edge brush on my footage, even though the preview in the composition looks fine, but after I render it, it appears to have glitches on some of the frames. I tried render as Tiff Sequence RGB+Alpha, Quick Time RGB+Alpha. It always gives me glitches.Here is screen shot of the glitch I got: 

I've been working with a client that would like me to recreate this design element with the sonar effect into their promotional video. Does anyone know how I may be able to achieve something similar? Is this effect built in AE or is it an image that was brought in and then manipulated with keyframes? I am a beginer user of After Effects so any way I can create in a simple way would be great. Thank you! 

Hi, I'm trying to test out the beta on my desktop. The plugin ran well on my laptop, however on my desktop I've installed, re-installed it, and tried opening the plugin in AE 2021 and AE 2022 but nothing happens when I click on it.I wanted to flag the issue and hopefully figure out why it would be doing this. Also I was wondering if you could give a general idea of how the pricing will work for this plugin once it has been fully released. I have been having a problem running Blender and Adobe apps in the same laptop. Adobe software will only works when I use the microsoft adapter player, while Blender only want the NVIDIA one. I can keep alternating between them, but my After Effect started lagging when I tried to use them with the microsoft adapter. I want to change it into NVIDIA but the black screen preview happened instead. Is there anyone with the same issue?My driver is already updated to the latest one, I cannot keep alternating between both driver because it also messed up with my other video editing program. Please help me. Only the audio started playing while the video wont.

Hello,I'm currently using version 25.1.0. But recently, I've been occasionally seeing the "Crash Repair Options" alert when restarting After Effects. I’ve also tried updating my graphics card, but it didn’t resolve the issue. When I click "Continue," I can use the program without any issues, and all settings remain unchanged.If there’s no definitive fix for the alert, would it be all right to just click “Continue” each time it appears and keep working?  

здравствуйте,помогите пожалуйста решить проблему,видео сдвигается влево при совместной работе с Pr.или при экспорте в Media Encoder,в самом Ae и при экспорте на прямую через него ничего такого нет,и при монтаже картинка стоит прямо.первое прикрепленное фото-это уже видео в pr при работе с ae,второе фото это уже как видео показывается в самом ae

Hello everyone! I just downloaded a phone comp (screenshot attached) from adobestock thinking the luma matte would have been included (no such luck).. Does anyone know how to create a luma matte from an .mov? I obviously want the phone to be on another background. Part two of this... how am I to have any screen animation track the phone? I guess I figured this would have been a layerd .AE file I could have edited in AE... Any help is very much apperciated.

I recently updated my after effects and adobe media encoder to 2025. Now everytime i try to render a video through media encoder it says "Adobe Media Encoder 2025" is damaged and can't be opened.You should move it to the Trash.This file was downloaded on an unknown date.I'm on a m1 macbook pro and use these programs regularly for work. I tried to install the previous version of media encoder and get the same issue. I don't understad what could be causing this issue. and am struggling to find other people experiencing this online.

Adobe After Effects 25.2 will pop up an error message when starting, Windows 11 system. After the error message is turned off directly, it does not affect the loading and use of the software. I disabled all the plug-ins and plug-ins, and the problem still exists, and the error message will also appear when starting in safe mode, excluding the problem of plug-in incompatibility. The old version of the software can work normally.It should be noted that there will be no error when starting from Adobe Creative Cloud, but if it is started from a shortcut, or even running AfterFX.exe directly from the software installation directory, an error will still appear. The dll file mentioned in the error message exists. The error message is as follows: After clicking the OK button, the software will continue to load until the loading is complete. Can someone tell me why is this app so crazy slow? I cant even play one simple 4k video smoothly in timeline. FX3 or Mavic 3 footage. Even when I play it in quarter resolution...Everything is set right, new drivers. It is totally unusable! GeForce RTX™ 3080Intel core i9-13900FNVMe disc96 GB RAM
