On version 23.2. I was able to record audio and edit, however when I went to save the file audition froze. It would not allow me to close the program or do anything, I had to restart my entire computer to force audition to close so I could try again. Exporting did the same thing. I did eventually move the track to a multitrack and was able to export it that way, however it still would not save the file. Any time I select "save" or "save as" the program would freeze. I have uninstalled and reinstalled audition several times, restarted my computer, updated media encoder. What else can I do to fix?
I was working on a multitrack session and everything worked fine, but suddenly, when I try to open it, the program crashes after finishing processing the files. What can I do now? Working on Audition 22.6.0.66 on macOS Ventura 13.2 on Mac with M1.
The latest "upgrade" to Audition removed support for ulaw. This format is crucial to anyone working in the telephony industry. My clients depend on it for their phone systems. I depend on Adobe to keep useful features. Please return it.
Hi there, I've been encountering a glitch when selecting specific frequencies in the Waveform Editor of Audition. I have playback set to loop, so I can highlight small areas of frequency (using the marquee or lasso selection tools) and play repeatedly to try and isolate problematic sounds. I've been getting a little blip of full-frequency audio every time the selection loops however, and it's quite off-putting. I've attached a video which shows the problem. I first discovered the issue when I was using a Macbook Pro 13 inch, mid 2012 (OSX Mojave 10.13.6, running Audition build 14.4.3.4) and have recently upgraded. I'm still encountering the same issue on a Macbook Air M1, 2020, running OSX Monterey 12.6.3, using Audition build 23.2.0.68. Thanks!
Audition Build 23.2.0.68Edition Windows 10 ProVersion 21H2Cannot play a file when switching from multitrack view to waveform view then back to multitrack view without minimising the program once, sometimes twice, or reconnecting the usb interface. This happens everytime I switch views.I've been using Audition 3.0 for many years and have never had a problem. My only reason for paying a hefty subscription is the fact that it supports certain VST's. My 14 day cancellation is quickly approaching and I need a solution soon. Thanks.
I have a license Audition 1.5 and an upgrade license to Audition 2.0.I tried to install Audition 1.5 in Windows 11, but as soon as I install the upgrade to 2.0, it already fails during the installation. In my Windows 10 PC I had already deactivated Audition 2.0 about 5 years ago and now it is no longer possible to activate this version.I get the message 'Activation server unavailable' and if I want to activate by telephone (31) 020 201 3805 I get the message that this number is out of service. To ask:1. How do I activate/deactivate my Audition 2.0 on my Windows 10 PC?2. How do I activate/deactivate Audition 1.5 and the upgrade to 2.0?
my file got corruptet when my audition crashed, i cant open it on my laptop and when i send it so another mac i says the file is offline. and i cant open it on my laptop so what so i do now
I am not sure what is happening or how to describe it. This started happening halfway through the episode. Both my audio and his were fine. All of a sudden his started to drag and sound strange. The wave lines are also a reflection. I checked the speed there isn't anything different with it. My audio was fine throughout. I am using Audition 23IMac OS Ventura 13.1
This is a longstanding annoyance/frustration going back years so I figured I might as well post about it. In the list of open files in Audition, if you double-click blank space, it brings up the Open dialog so you can open a file. This makes sense. However, if you double-click the tiny one pixel of space in between two open files in the list, it also brings up the Open dialog. This drives me nuts. Sometimes I'll have dozens of files open and need to check through them one-by-one, so I double-click each subsequent file in the list as I go, but if I'm off by one pixel and happen to hit that tiny space between rows, it brings up the Open dialog and interrupts me. I understand double-clicking the blank space at the bottom to open a file. That makes sense and I even use it myself sometimes. But I'm pretty sure no one ever intentionally goes hunting for that little tiny one pixel gap between two files to try and double-click it to bring up the Open dialog. It's easier to hit by acc
When recording in Multitrack using Audition 23.1.0.75 at record STOP (hit spacebar), two seconds of recorded audio - clearly visible in the track - vanish, shortening the clip. The part of the waveform lost was not empty. It occurs with every single recording. This problem affects Macbook Pro as well as all our PC workstations. Workaround: Let the recoding run three full seconds after capturing the audio you want and let the truncation remove unneeded audio at the end of recording.Processor AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor 3.40 GHzInstalled RAM 64.0 GBSystem type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorPen and touch Pen support Edition Windows 10 ProVersion 22H2Installed on 12/14/2022OS build 19045.2486Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4190.0 and Model Name: MacBook Pro Model Identifier: MacBookPro11,4 Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Core i7 Processor Speed: 2.2 GHz Number of Processors: 1 Total Number of Co
