Audition

I have a two hour music show. first hour is in the top track the second hour is right below it in the second track. How do I put the second track right next to the end of the first track so it's one continuous show?

Hi There,  I consider myself an expert in audition having used it professionally for over 19 years (CEP1), but there is a bug which I've seen in most versions which I cannot seem to solve.When I'm editing audio from the waveform view and want to push a selection through to an open multitrack session, the audio always appears in the session many hours from the beginning, forcing me to scroll to the end, cut the clip, and paste it in my workspace.Has anyone else expereinced this? or know what's causing it? or have a solution? Thanks in advance. Toby Rickettshttp://www.tobyrickettsvoiceover.com

Is there any way that I can export my audio clip with the metronome in it? This would be very helpful for the work I am doing but I cannot seem to find out how to do it. 

Help please !I have a USB cassette player that Audition recognises, and records waveform from for a minute or two perfectly then randomly shuts my recording down citing that "List of audio devices changed" which it hasnt? What,s clashing or the culprit please? Im on Mac OS 10.14.6 Mojave running latest Audtion.

I'm trying to cut an audio file at an exact point. I'm doing it by dragging and highlighting to the cut point I want, but as it highlights it jumps past where I want it cut. Can you help?

Please help I need to finish a project and after updating to 2020 the play/space bar wont work. I went to preference and made sure audio devices was correct still nothing. There is no response it simply says play or stop but the playhead does not move. Record also does not function. I also tried adding an interface and it does not respond even though it recognizes it? What's going on with Audition 2020?

Im struggling to record interviews remotely. Im currently using the sound devices mix pre 3 ii as an audio interface and cleanfeed through the browser to record my subject. Im having trouble feeding the audio back to adobe with adequate levels. Any advice?Regards

Hey all - Thank you in advance for the help! I've made some effect rack presets in the most up to date version of Audition (March 2020). When I load the presets into older versions of Audition, only some effects are appearing and some are 'missing' even though I can access the individual effect on its own. So for some reason, it's not linking some of the effects (Dynamics, Single-band compressor, DeEsser, Hard Limiter in particular). My guess is that it's just not backward compatible. But is there some way to link the individual effects so they appear?

Does anyone know where these presets are stored on the PC? I need the folder path. I've checked everything (c/appdata/roaming..., the plugin's folder) but I can't find them.

I am trying to clean up the audio from a video I shot. I imported the video into adobe audition and used all the tools to clean it up. In audition, I can see the video in the bottom left-hand corner and it all looks good. Once I'm done, I export it as a .wav file (have tried .mp3 as well) and when I import it into iMovie I can see that iMovie thinks they're the same time length but near the end the audio becomes out of sync and is a full few seconds longer than the original audio even though they're from the exact same source.The tools I used are:De-ReverbDeEsserVoice enhancerNoise reduction processCan anyone help me out with this?Edit: I tried importing into premier pro and the same thing happened.

I record audiobooks from 30 minutes. When playing the audio file, the position indicator goes very slow Doesn't go continuously but by jumping 0.5 seconds. It plays with windows 10; i7 processor and 8G Ram.  Thanks in advance

I'm new to Adobe Audition. Everything seems to be working, except the editting functions (razor, move and slip) do not appear to be activated and available. What am I missing? 

Hi, I am new to Audition. Where do I find the control to see the same waveform before and after an effect on the screen simultaneously?

I use Adobe Audition to record and just recently I've found there is a buzzing/humming in the recording when I listen to it through headphones. Any ideas what this might be?Thanks,Gail

I'm a professional audio engineer and I'm reaching out to see if you can help me regarding this matter. I recently purchased a chromebook and was wondering if their is ever going to be auditon available for use through the chrome is operating system or as an Android app. I know adobe has made other apps available on the Apple and Android store and it would really help If adobe audition was available for use. I use adobe regularly at work via Mac and windows pcs. I thank you for taking the time to review this and hope to hear back from you soon. I love adobe audition as a DAW and really feel like it should work With the chrome system by google. Thanks,Kevin

Yesterday I shot a subject on camera that was about 8 ft away. He was miked with a Rode wireless lav. When I screened the clips later, his voice was real low. It's as if the lav never worked and instead his voice was picked up by the internal camera mic. So the subject not only sounds low but distant.  What is best way to improve this audio?I boosted the gain, and this brought up the BG noise, so I added a denoiser which worked great, but the suject still sounds distant. His presence seems far away. I am not the best when it comes to audio effects, so any help is appreciated. 

Hi,  I would like to be able to tweak the step (or the overlap) between adjacent windows used to compute the spectral display. Is this possible?If it isn't, at least it would be nice to know what is the overlap being used by default. Is it the same for all possible windows used (Hann, Hamming, Blackman, etc)? Anyone knows where I can find that information?FYI I'm using build 13.0.4.39Thanks.

  Hi everyone, I'm using Adobe Audition 2020. When I came on today to do some editing, I noticed that all my tools (to the right of "Show Spectral Pitch Display") are entirely greyed out. I have been unable to edit with the tools i.e. use the razor tool, move tool, etc. This is the first time it's happened to me and I was editing just last night. - My Audition is currently up to date, and ran an update for the entire Creative Cloud this morning. - The waveform file that is in the picture that I'm working on was actually a multitrack file from Audition 2019 from my work computer. I thought that there was a compatibility issue at first, so I created a mixdown on my laptop with Audition 2020 and tried to re-open it. I had found the issue again.   Any thoughts on how to deal with this? I'm going to restart my entire device as well and see, but I greatly appreciate any advice or fixes you folks may have. Thank you!

Using Audition CC, is there a way to have transport controls at the bottom of the Multitrack window to include a next marker and previous marker?  In Premiere Pro, I can add these control icons to the transport control BUT I can't find a similar feature in Audition.  Any ideas?

I made two Audition files, one on one day and one on the next. My setup was the same (same mic, same distance from input (e.g. guitar). But the second file is much louder than the first. I had the same volume settings. Any control I may have changed inadvertently?Second question: how do I create equal volume levels between several files? I

Hi Everyone,  I'm editing my podcast. Extracted the entire session. I listen and 99% of my audio is missing (main speaking track and music) my spoken intro is all I can hear. What's happeing? It plays corretly in Audition.  I'm fairly new to audion to not intermediate or advanced right now.  How can I fix this? Thanks in advance,Kaylia
