Audition

If you've been getting this message when you start an Audition session, it appears to be down to an issue with the CC app itself. That's being worked on, but you can resolve the issue quickly and easily by following the instructions that _durin_ posted. Hey guys, im really new to Audition and audio narration, but i have hit a problem and im really lost with this.  I have two questions really,First, i have recored a chapter from a book, when i open the file it all looks normal, the wave pattern is there and the timer reads the correct length but there is no sound.  Its not muted as i can open other files and listen to them no problem.Second, when I opened the file i was working on and the wave formed looked normal and as it should, but when i played it back it was playing a continuous loop of three words.  I engalged the wave image to look at what it was playing but when i get to a certain point in the zoom it changes from the original wave pattern to a wave pattern of the  three looped words, so now i have thirteen minuets of three words.Dose anyone have any thoughts on what has happened?Thank you in advance...

Hi to all, in the attempt of exporting a multitrack session the SW systematically crashes. In particular, it doesn't notify any error or warnings, it simply shuts down so that then I have to reopen the project. If anyone can help me I can provide the log files.

Hi All,I'm a pro musician in a touring cover band duo. I recently took on the role of producing all the audio track backings we use in most of our songs, and I'm using Adobe Audition CS6 to do it. So in my case, I have about 40 songs that my duo partner and I play.. I start with the full backing tracks downloaded in multitrack format from Karaoke Version - so each song has say 15 stereo tracks (drums, bass gt, keyboards, lead vocals etc...). While the recording quality and muso performances were I guess reasonable in most of the tracks, most of the tracks haven't been mixed together all that well. I want to run about 20 songs into each other, to end up with say, a one-hour non-stop track that we can play when we gig.What I want to know is:Bearing in mind that each multitracked song's tracks levels and gains aren't mixed all that well, what order of operations would you suggest I do things in to fix all the track levels etc of these 20 multitracks, so that each song sits perfectly again

So, I've had this since I updated to CC Adobe Audition over multiple versions.  I use Audition for waveform editing daily.  And 5 to 10 ten times, when trying to play or zoom (typically, as I think to describe), I get the beach ball stopping progress... for maybe 10 seconds, then whatever commands I trigger seem to queue up... and then activate.  I would guess I am making somewhere in the range of 50-100 waveform edits daily... And then sometimes it just sticks.I upgraded my interface last year, but that didn't change anything.  And I keep thinking a new version of Audition will fix it, but it remains with latest January 2017 update.  Is there a fix for this?  Anyone else having this problem?I am on OS 10.11.6 (and have upgraded thru a few versions of El Capitan).  And I cannot recall if I had the problem with Mavericks in 2014 (when I started using Audition CC), but I don't think so.  Perhaps I should mention I use Pro Tools, Ableton Live and ot

Okay, so I was working with an mp3 and I used the Center Channel Extractor to create an a cappella version of one of the verses. I saved the "session" and now when I click on the .sesx file Audition opens up but there is nothing there. No waveform, nothing. Where does my session go? Why can't I just open up a project (yes, I know they are called sessions) and continue where I left off? Is all my work on this track gone?

I know that using the Multitrack option is better and non-destructive. I also was able to locate the history and see everything that i applied to the clip. I think it sounds exactly the way I want it to. So....am I out of luck? In other words, if I don't mind these being permanent, how can I copy paste? Or will i have to do this in the effects rack and start all over from scratch and dial in my settings again? I'd like to avoid this if at all possible.

I am at a loss to figure this out.The setup: I have made a screen recording on an iPad. The resulting MP4 file has four audio channels in it. The top two (L & R) are empty and the bottom two (again, L & R) have an audio waveform. Earlier this week, I was able to load the file into Premier Pro CC 2018, and hear the audio, which was requried for properly syncing the footage to video shot with two cameras. Today, for whatever reason, The audio on those video files will not play in Premier, even though the audio level meter shows activity. What does this have to do with Audition? Well, in an attempt to get SOMETHING that I could use, I loaded the MP4 into Audition with intention of extracting the audio to later pair with the video in the timeline.What I've tried: Once in Audition, I noticed the multiple channels of audio (two empty over two filled). If I disable any one one of the two audio tracks with a waveform in Audition, the other plays through the headphones. If not, no sound

I just wanted to comment my suggestion about creating an Adobe platform for creating music scores, and maybe the works created with it, could be compatible with Audition. That would be great Thanks!

I am new to Audition, but one learns quick. Just one thing I cannot handle. I have opened an audio file with various songs, the one after the other, and I am copying pasting one song after the other to separate files. I can see now, after cutting out half of the songs, in the Editor panel the timeline till 1.55 and there is the problem. The next song I want to cut out is longer then that. The slider in the Mixer panel allows me to shorten that time, not to make it longer. The Selection/View panel does not allow me to lengthen End or Duration.Any help welcome!Thanks,Maarten

i keep getting this error when opening my sessions. anyone know what it is and how to fix it? i went to the destination and just deleted all the files in that folder once..and it worked fine for a few now it comes back up soon as i open a session

Upon selecting the Noise Reduction Process under the Effects dropdown in Adobe Audition, nothing happens. No menu or panel opens. I was just using this exact tool last week, no issue, but now it won't open. I've randomly selected other Effects and they all open. I've tried closing and re-opening the program/file, still nothing. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

I have an usb sound card with multiple inputs. How can I set up Adobe Audition so the Mic1 will be record on track 1 and Mic2 will be record on track 2 simultaneously? I'm using Adobe Audtion CS6.Sorry for my bad English.

Every time i use the effect "reverb" or "full reverb" of a song, audition crashed and shut down.i captured the screen as reference, thanks a lot for the help.

I have a new install of Adobe Audition CC 2018. Up to date on updates. Keep getting this and shuts the program down. Working with large file that take time to load each time. A real nuisance. Any help appreciated.Matt

I started recording with the free trail, liked it and decided to buy it. However, now for some reason I am unable to record into the program. I haven't changed any settings. Channel mapping and audio hardware seem to be set properly. 

can anyone explain why my plugins have become so small? im using a fresh installed version of audition on a new windows 10 computer with a samsung uhd monitor. all my waves plugins and softube plugins are to small to even read...ive tried adjusting the resolution for the computer ect to make things bigger but it doesnt help. the waves plugins especially dont get any bigger. are there any settings in audition that i can tweak to fix this? or is it maybe the plugins?...even tho they look just fine on my other computer

Hello! I've seen similar questions asked before but they haven't completely applied to this situation. I have a multitrack session with tons of clips on each track. I'd like to remove every effect from the entire session and "start from scratch." I've already removed effects from each track, but there have been many times where I've placed effects on individual clips. Due to the mass quantity of clips I'm working with, I can't click each individual one and check. Is there a way to remove all clip effects from a session? Thanks!

Running Audition CC 2018 on Windows 10. I've set up the Audio Hardware ASIO.Track 1 input is set to Mono "IN 1" and output set to Master.On my AudioBox interface, I have an XLR cable hooked up to left input "1" to a condenser mic next to my guitar amplifier. In addition, I have Track 2 input to set to Mono "IN 2" and output to Master.I have an XLR cable to right input 2 and output to a DI to my instrument. I press record and the marker moves but when I play the instrument, nothing is getting recorded. Help?

Hi there! I used two mics for an interview but I messed up the settings, I guess, because the output is just one wav file. Is there anyway to separate the voices or am I stuck with what I've got?

Help please! I'm trying to get my podcast out tomorrow, and for some reason 6 clips of my podcast are looping. It takes the first few seconds and just repeats it. It doesn't follow the sound waves, I'm not sure why it repeats. I never requested loops; I don't loop anything. Any suggestions on a fix?  Please help!!
