Audition

Hello I chose to have the headphones be the input for the mic in the headphones and output to be the headphones in hardware settings.  When I record, the audio records fine through the headphones but when I go to play the recorded audio I hear nothing.  This happens when I am using the headphones connected to my Windows 10 PC. If I connect the cable to the headphones and to the computer I lose the ability to use the microphone but can hear the audio that was previously recorded through Bluetooth.  How can I get the audio to play through my headphones using the Bluetooth functionality while working in Audition? Hi there,I recently updated Windows 10 to Version 1809 and noticed that my Snowball USB Microphone won't cooperate within Audition CC anymore? I've tried it outside the program and it works fine. I'm also on the newest version of Audition. I dunno if this is a common issue or if I'm potentially doing something wrong here but it worked fine just before I updated. Anybody have any idea as to what could be causing this? Thanks!

Hii wana delete some default keyboard shortcuts in audition cs6( because of conflict with another software on my system) for example toggle recording (shift + space)in keyboard shortcuts section i delete this shortcut but it still works.

Hello,My time display is not counting while recording.  When I stop the recording, the time is displayed, but not while actually recording.  It stays at 0:00:000.  The time display works just fine in playback.  I'm not finding any settings to resolve this issue. I just recently purchased a Soundcraft Signature 12 MTK - its my first multitrack interface and I'm immeadiately running into issues. HI guyswhen import in premiere video with multitrack audio and i charge project of this file into auditon(like when i open video with multitrack audio) ,the program change the track of audio or mix the the L/R audio of one audio track in another the track and use of audition becomes impossible

I am using a focusrite 2i. I have loaded the new drives and have checked my equipment. When I use audio file everything works fine. When I create a new multi track session it will not record. So the equipment works well. The audio file session is in mono. Any ideas.

I have a mixed down song I created using MAGIX software. I took the WAV file and normalized it in Audition then saved it to my computer. I uploaded it to youtube, tunecore and radioairplay. When I play the online version on my computer the song sounds great, everything is fine. When anyone else tries to play it on their devices through the same online services there are no lyrics, it is just an instrumental. My phone and computer play the lyrics just fine from the online source but no one else gets them, I don't understand what would cause this. Help!

When i save a project and reopen it, several clips are missing the audio. If i remove the clip and reimport it, it is now only 1 frame long.  I am using cc19 audition on a windows 10 on a surface book.

I have an Alesis V49 that is supposed to be supported by any software. It works on Garageband so I assume it should work on Audition. When I go into the audio hardware settings to select an external input device, this keyboard does not appear even though all of my other USB input devices do. Therefore, when I try to record with this device, nothing comes through (even when I click on monitor input to double check). Anyone know how I can fix this?

Does anyone have any idea how to view the preset that was selected in any of the effects once the session has been closed, and re-opened? For whatever reason-the preset default to "custom", as oppose to displaying the preset that was previously selected. This has always been an issue for me, but I decided to check to see if anyone else found a work-around for this situation

I just set up my new Mac Mini (2018) and Audition audio hardware settings appear to be setup normally. My interface is working fine but audition will not record any audio. It goes through the usual recording process but no levels show up and there's no audio being inputted into Audition even though my interface/mic is chosen as the default input. Any ideas? Everything seems to operating normally other than Audition just has zero audio showing up while recording.

Hi,I was just creating some quick audio logos in Audition.I noticed that Audition lacking a feature that allows you to easily copy a Multitrack session, so you can easily create variations of audio mixes.Right now, you have to use File > New > New Multitrack or CTRL/CMD+N to create a new Multitrack, after which you have to copy assets over from the previous multitrack in order to create a new variation.Can you please allow for a Duplicate-feature? Simply by appending 01, 02, etc. to the file name of the existing mix, you can continue working on variations, without changing the original version, or having to use Save as to achieve the same effect.Thanks.

I've tried searching on YouTube and couldn't find an Audition CS6-specific tutorial,  to no avail.  Hoping to find a simple step-by-step (effect-by-effect) tutorial or explanation on how to master for ACX settings (measure between -23 and -18 RMS, and peak no higher than -3).    Thanks!

Just upgraded from AA3 to AA CC 2019 and now Audition creates audible glitching on all 48K files. This is what it sounds like ..http://dannycox.dyndns.org:8080/share.cgi?ssid=0XDRvUxInterestingly, if I record, a 48K WAV and play it back through Window Media Player it sounds fine, but AA doesn't seem to be able to cope with it.To give a bit more clarity ;If the file is recorded as a 44.1 Waveform it plays fineIf I convert it to 48k it glitchesIf I record a file at 48k it glitchesIf that file is dropped into a 48k Multitrack it glitchesIf the file is dropped into a 44.1 multitrack  (it offers to to convert it to 44.1) then it's fineIf I try and open any previous files/mulitracks which sounded OK at 48K, they now glitch.It appears to be a playback issue with AA CC 2019 not coping with 48K files for some reason, as other programs playback the same files and they sound totally clean. Nothing else has changed on my PC other than an upgrade from AA V3 to CC 2019.Has anyone else come acro

I'm using Audition to record dialogue. Recording individual lines as small clips. Each track housing up to 30 minutes of clips per character. Since the last few updates, the playhead is not behaving as expected. Roughly after the three minute mark, if I record a new clip and stop, the playhead jumps back to the start of the sequence instead of sticking to the end of the clip.I can open a new track and the behaviour returns to normal, until I hit the 3 minute mark where it starts to jump to the beginning.It seems to be a bug, since this wasn't happening a few updates ago. Wondering if anyone's run into the issue and has a potential fix.Cheers!

How can I advance through audio slowly when I am very zoomed in? I need to find transient noises like mouth clicks that are only milliseconds long, but when I am that zoomed in, I can't figure out how to move my view left and right. The little handle in the timeline at the top works fine when I am NOT zoomed in, because it is large enough to grab with my mouse. But when I am that zoomed in, the handle in the timeline becomes so small that I cannot make fine movements.In Audition 3.0, I could just drag the bottom of the main audio edit screen. So this is another growing pain from moving to CC.Maybe this picture will make it more clearThoughts? Thanks!Ken

I am working on my first attempt at a podcast.I have some music on one track. I have lowered the volume of the music on that track when the audio begins on another track. It all sounds exactly like I want it to on Audition. However, when I export it to an mp3 file & it plays back on iTunes, the volume isn't adjusted.Can you help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?Thanks in advance!

adobe audition will input text and gives out speech, but i need some pause  for 5 seconds or my own timing, is there any program language for this to give pause in between for speech

Greetings,    I'm using Audition CC 12.0.1.34 on a late 2016 Macbook Pro.    I have a Voice Over track where I need to have the Loudness to be normalized (highs reduced, lows raised).    I tried using Speech Volume Leveller as an Effect on the Track, and tried pulling the sliders to change settings.    However, I find that when I change the value of "Target Volume Level", it resets back to -12db. Ditto with the other settings.    The Preset I used was "Custom".    Even more puzzling, was that the Output level of the Voice Over is approximately -3 to -5 db.    I've attached a Screengrab.    Any ideas on how to fix this?    Thanks in advance for your help.Regards,Rajnesh

Hi.  It's coming up Christmas and they're cutting down trees...  Oh sorry - if you could take a minute out of your runup to Christmas and enlighten me on this one, I'd be postively festive.I just imported some three-minute clips into a new session of Audition.  The clips appear tiny and the zoom navigator up top defaults to 21 min. If I expand the clips to fill the screen, the zoom navigator almost disappears.How do I adjust the relationship between the size of the clip onscreen and the time duration for the zoom navigator? I thought it might be in Preferences>Multitrack Clips, but no.  Is it something I do to the clip or is it something I do to the zoom navigator?

It can be done, I just don't remember how to do it.

Hi,I do a lot of voice narrations and voice overs for learning content. I use Audition mostly for this as the quality of the audio can be managed much better.The issue is that I have to use text files for the script and it is often a juggle to manage the recording and have the text file on the screen at the same time.It would be really useful if Audion could integrate a script/narration window within the interface so that reading the script and controlling the recording etc could be easier?
