Audition

I've got the Behringer q1202USB mixerI've hooked up 2 XLR mics to this mixer and i want to record 2 seperate tracks but i can't figure it out both mics always record into the same channel.Help me please

So I'm working with a multi-track for that has about 3 voice tracks and 3 music beds on it. When I go to save the whole session, two really weird things happen with the music beds.1. The left channel loses the original audio and is replaced just with a LOUD, constant static noise. Like when you would find a channel on the television that wasn't tuned to anything and it just showed the "white snow" screen. That kind of static sound. In the picture below, the red horizontal line in the left channel is where the static comes in. So you can tell it's not constant, only where there is audio present in the right channel.2. It deletes some of the original audio in both channels. I've provided a picture to show this. The audio should be constant. It is a music bed. Also, I didn't add those green lines in the left channel. I have no idea where they came from either.:As you can tell, I don't really know how to explain the problem. Much less fix it. I am having issues with Adobe Audition CC the latest version and OSX Sierra on them Mac working together. The playhead will not move at all and I cannot get any levels to come into the program. Any help?

I currently have Adobe Audition CC.When I try to record something (in multi track) with other tracks, like instrumentals, I can't hear the other tracks.But, if I start playing the tracks first and then hit record, I can record and hear the other tracks.Is there a way that when I hit record, I can record and hear the other tracks at the same time? I've been having trouble opening up audition on my laptop. when I click on the icon, the picture for audition shows up, but also a message box shows up saying "Audition cannot enter preference folder, please make sure current user has the read/write permission to the preference folder". My question, how do I fix this problem? what are the steps to do so?

Is there a filter (or combination of filters) in Audition that will do what the Auphonic service does?This is what Auphonic claims to do: Auphonic Audio Examples I have taken multitrack mixdowns, and loaded them into Auphonic. The mixdowns consist of audio recorded in a studio, with multiple performers, using different microphones. But there always seem to be a noticeable difference in the levels for each performer. When I give the multitrack mixdown to Auphonic, it sounds a lot better, and the performers sound like they belong together. And the loudness sounds a lot better.Below is an after-before comparison.Is there an easy way for an idiot like me to do the same thing in Audition?Thanks!

Hello there!I am relatively new to Audition. I would like to make a beat that was recorded in a live preformance fit the beat grid exactly. As there was no metronome or so, the music is getting slightly faster over time. But as I want to mix it with other songs, I need it to fit the beatgrid perfectly.So what I am looking for is something like Logic Pro's Flex Time tool. Running off of a new machine. At first I thought it was an issue with the hard drive not reading fast enough but I've tried experimenting with that to no avail. I then figured it was a performance issue with a bottleneck somewhere but I installed CS6 and that runs perfectly with no hangs whatsoever. I've already gone through every possible latency/performance option in preferences. No idea what to do next. What could be causing this? Any assistance greatly appreciated!

Since I installed CS6 from its original discs onto my iMac, I’ve had no problems until El Capitan and Sierra. They have been giving me trouble, specifically with Audition. Every time that I try to open Audition CS6 in any of the newer OS, it crashes, quits unexpectedly before opening, and gives a problem report with very lengthy details. Can anyone please help? I’ve tried everything from activating the Audition CS6 exec in Terminal to downloading a legacy version of Java, and nothing works. The program still crashes on me and seems to only work with the Yosemite OS.

Can Audition "delete" portions from a track that are below a certain volume level? For instance: if I have an interview track, I'd like it to get rid of all the quieter moments so I can freely move the other pieces about. Possible?Thanks!

I have a massive problem in Premiere but assuming that both programs use the same audio engine someone here might help me:Unfortunately my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 does not work as expected. So I'm looking for a new audio hardware (internal or external) which works 100% reliable with Premiere Pro CC 2017. In principle I need just one high quality Mic input with phantom power. I'm pretty confident there's no hope of making this tape "sound good". I'm hoping, though, that possibly it might be gotten to the point where somebody who really cared about the speakers could, with concentration, hear what they were saying; or perhaps that somebody willing to suffer for a while could manage to make a transcription of what's said.  (It was recorded on a small portable cassette recorder 40 years ago; from the changes that the noise goes through I think it must have been patched into the room sound system, rather than relying on the built-in mic; then it was transferred with a decent stereo cassette deck into a Zoom H2n digital recorder, and now I'm trying to deal with it.)  (Most of the tape is much better than this; whatever was causing it, probably problems patching into the house sound feed, got resolved after a few minutes.  I'm trying to rescue what I can from those few minutes.)I can just about hear the voices under the noise playing it straight; I

Hi all.I've recently starting working with Audition and I'm loving it.  I've learned how to record and use effects and take my voice overs to the next level with this amazing program.My one question that is still giving me trouble is this "Is there a way to record with the effects that i want to use turned on so that as I'm recording I'm hearing the effects working through my headphones or monitor"  I would like to hear the sound as i record my voice overs as opposed to always recording and then adding the effects and sounds afterword.Thanks in advance for your help....RM

I just saw Adobe Voco and nearly fell out of my chair!!! I have been sleuthing around the internet looking for a method to try it out. I have been an Adobe supporter since the days of Photoshop 4 and I am pretty heavy into audio using Audition with Native Instruments Maschine... Hello,I need help with separating music from a movie trailer, I have looked up videos on how to but none are showing the results that I so desire. Could some one give me advice on what I can do or let me know if I have to go through another app in order to separate the music from the rest of the trailer? Specifically the trailer is the new power rangers movie trailer, and I am trying to take out the Kanye West song but leave in the rest of the lines that the characters say.

When using the menu mix down session to new file i get a bad result. The quality of the sound is simply bad.When using export mixdown the problem does not occur.I have used mix down many times before without problems. I am editing on MAC 10.12.4.I hope someone can help!

Good morning,It appears in the latest version of Windows 10/RealTek Drivers the mixer 'StereoMix' has been removed, which appears to stop Audition being able to record webstream sound and direct local media. Does anyone have a workaround for this problem? With ThanksJason

Hello, I am helping my friend edit a film he made about a year ago and things have been going great for the most part but I realized that when he shot the film originally he didn't use any microphone other than the camera.  I use audition and I know certain elements of audio editing, but currently running into problems such as background noise hiss, dialogue sounds quiet and a few other problems.  I removed the the background hiss but now it sounds echoey and not real.  So long story short does anyone have any advice to try and get normal sound given the circumstances?

Hi,I tried to add FX automation to the track in multitrack session. I added the FX and then below, I chose the RACK MIX envelope and added some keyframe points. During playing the mix the envelope didn't work. I can only use a straight bar (with no Keyframes at it) to set the regular proportion of RACK FX MIX. But I can't set the evenlope that changes the RACK MIX propotion in time.What is wrong? Or what did I do wrong?Cheers.
