Audition

Hi everyoneI am using Audition 3.0 to have a large number of audio files annotated with two different types of markers (corresponding to two different types of events) inserted by human listeners at certain time points that they see fit. The nature of the task requires listeners to insert these markers as they listen (on the fly); it is not possible to rewind a piece or to listen to it a second time.I have defined the keys A and Z to insert two different types of cues/markers: index markers and track markers. These show up in the horizontal bar above the waveform and can be subsequently renamed from the Cue List; the attached screenshot shows two markers renamed and two others with their original names, namely "Marker nn (idx)" and "Marker nn (trk)".My question is: is there any way to customise the default label associated with each marker type, such that for instance, instead of "Marker 01 (idx)", "Marker 02 (idx)", .., the labels that appear upon each button press are instead e.g. "A

Hi there, I produce voiceovers and I often have to record multi tracks (in multitrack) and then export them as seperate files.However, when I export each single track, the resulting file only plays back through the left channel (speakers and headphones).Infuriating!  I know I'm being an idiot ha ha I've tried everything.Anyone have any ideas?Much appreciated.Darren

Using dynamic link from PPCC, I have been trying to correct sequences. For the last couple months or so, I have been having issues. Sometimes, when I delete a clip from a track, all other tracks stop producing sound. Or sometimes, it's just a few tracks that stop producing sound when they were just producing sound a moment ago.  It normally happens when I delete some of the original clips imported from Premiere Pro CC 2017.Please help.Adobe is updated. Windows 10 Pro, Titan Black, Soundblaster Recon 3Di, i7 5820k processor.

In 1.5, I was able to use the right arrow to jump to the end of a selection, and the left arrow to jump to the start of a selection.  In CC 2017 only the left arrow works.  This shortcut is not listed in the keyboard shortcuts, so I can't find out what it's called and set up the equivalent.  Driving me nuts.

Hello. I'm working on a film where I only used one mic for a client and his wife. Audio attached to the male is perfect but the audio from his wife is really low (obviously because I didn't mic her). I typically use one mic for small interviews, but there's a specific part I'd like to include of her speaking. I know how to amplify her audio using the Effects option (Amplify & Compression), but it also raises background air which sounds like an annoying his. Is there a way to amplify her audio then reduce unwanted hiss? Thanks.

hito increase the volume to the max the best way is to use the hard limiter and the compressor?i know how work the normalizer and the hard limiterabout the compressor , i have tried several times but i always if it's the case to use the compressori read several tutorials about the compressor in you tube , how it works ,but in these tutorials the user uses the compressor to lower the volumethanks

Hi! I'm trying to find something similar to my request on the Web but no luck. I don't even know how to compose a request for what I want.Here is a thing I wanted to do - I'm want to do voice over translation from one language to over, say from English to Swedish, for example.I've got a video, loaded it into the Audition and now what? I'm used to lowering volume on a certain selection from original audio and put my translation over there.Am I doing it right? Are there any better ways to do it? Thanks!

I'm starting a new job where they use the cloud. I have CS6. Is there any necessity in changing at this time or will apps run the same on each?

I corrected audio for a short film in audition. There were problems with inversion and when fixed everything looked great in Audition and when I imported it back to inal Cut, it sounded fine. However, when I export it in any format, the music track is garbled. The same music track is used in the beginning of the film and it is fine but at the ed it is now garbled and it wasn't before I took it to audition.That was the only part of the video that did not have an issue .   I am using FCP X  translating the xml to 7 and then importing into Audition and back to 10. I am additionally working on other videos from the same client with some of the same clips but different music. and am having no issues with those.

Hi there! I've been struggling for finding a proper way to create that retro audio that when you hear it, you know you're watching an 80's or backwards movie. Hi if I just want to download simple sound effects audio files to play with like close doors or low frequency where do I go to download that is safe?

Can I import an omf file from an older WaveFrame DAW?  WaveFrame will export an omf that ProTools can import but will Audition be able to import it as well?

I have updated Adobe Audition from Creative Cloud App and now is in English, not a big problem since I'm able to use it without problems but It's the only Adobe App that refuses to be localized correctly, and since I have seen screenshots of Audition CC 2017 in Italian I'm wondering why on my PC It's in EnglishAudition version 10.0.1.8 x64 (latest update from CC client)Windows 10 x64 OS

When I resample a file in Audition, then "Save As", the duration metadata is all screwed up:

I hardly ever have the need to export (or save) mp3 files as anything other than the 128k bit rate. And I also never need to include markers or meta data in them.How can I change the defaults in CC so that I don't have to set them every single time I do an mp3 export?Thanks.

is there any way to open / import an .npr file other than in nuendo? i have the session files and need to make some changes but it would be cumbersome to start cutting up the master audio tracks as i make changes to the video sequence. any help would be appreciated. thanks

What's the difference between "MP3 **Kbps CBR" and "MP3 **Kbps CBR OFL"? It seems that files edited by Audition have "OFL" in the format. How to prevent it?
