I uploaded one 30 minute file of audio and it enhanced it perfectly, as usual. I then Uploaded a second, accidentally adding it to the same project. Now that 60 minue project is all enhanced as usual too. But since I can't download more than 30 minutes with my current plan (or lack of), I uploaded again as a second project with just the second 30 minute file. Despite toggling on that voice enhance option in the filters, the audio is still the original. I tried again two more times over two days. The only version that's enhanced is part of that first 60 minute file. What could be the problem?
Normally when I need to work with audio I work in Logic Pro. But I just installed Audition to try it out. Can someone explain to me why Adobe decided to make horizontal zooming with Command + mouse wheel instead of Option + mouse wheel like in Premiere and AE? Is this to confuse the user? Once you get used to one standard and it works, Audition says "Now you need to get used to COMMANDS". And then when you go back to editing video you have to use Option again. Did you really need to use different keys for the same function? It seems like the staff didn't agree among themselves and randomly assigned different ways. The same goes for Photoshop. Holding down the mouse wheel in Premiere and AE allows you to move the preview monitor. But in Photoshop it should be different. - space. WHAT is going on here?As a new user, I see this mess. But, apparently, the "old school" is already used to this and will be against changes, so that one function is performed the same in all programs, and not dif
I want to hear the metronome only when recording. I do not want it to play during playback. Is there a setting for this? I am on the lastest version.
Hi everyone. Here is my question. I'm not sure if it is a bug or what is going on.When I try to export a mixdown in Audition 2025 or 2024 I get this strange repeating sound on the final file. You can hear it in the attached 2025 file. When using Audition 2023 I have no issues.Has anybody had this issue before?I'm not sure if it is how Audition is handling the effects in the multitrack or if this a bug.It plays fine in the DAW.I would prefer to use the latest edition Audition obviously and that is why I am asking this question.I am using Windows 11.Thanks very much for any ideas,Todd K.
I am editing a 40 minute podcast with many cuts, and I had to set it aside for a few weeks. When I went to open it, the sesx file is there, all the tracks have their colors, waveform seems to be there (although exporting them did not work -- wrong files) and the Multitrack is just dotted lines amid black space; the alert says 51 of 69 files could not be found. Link Media is not finding anything. I've tried Time Machine, same problems.... any help?I am working in Audition version 25.6.0.97, on a Mac Studio, Apple M1 Max, 64gb memory, running Tahoe 26.3. There was at least one Mac upgrade since the last time I opened the project. Thanks, and Happy Holidays. Rob
Adobe Audition feels like a missing element in the competitive Android market. Please develop Adobe Audition to be as comprehensive as the full version of Adobe Photoshop for Android. Please provide two options: one full version with ads, always active and complete, and one full trial version for 30 days without ads.
So basically I'm a starter at Adobe Audition and edited an entire podcast with the host and the interviewer as a stereo file. I found how to separate it to mono just after I finished the edition, but is there a way to do it on a stero file that I already edited? Or do I need to restart and re-do it from scratch? Any support?
Apologies if this has been covered before but I'm pulling my hair out here. I've a decent enough specced machine: AMD5950x, 128GB RAM, Win 11, 3xSSD 1xHDD, MOTU M2 Interface. Running latest version of Audition. I produce and edit podcasts. Currently working on one which is in a radio documentary format i.e. using short clips from multiple contributors, tied together by a narration, and with music added in places.Because the interviewees were recorded in a mix of in-person and online, audio quality varies considerably, so I want each person on their own track so I can process them individually. Clips are only 20-60 secs each. I'm 5 mins into the first episode, have 17 tracks on the go, and whatever audio hardware settings I use (MOTU ASIO, MME etc.) even with all the effects powered off on every track, I get loads of crackling on playback. I've tried all the obvious e.g. experimenting with latency, ensuring everything is the same sample rate, etc., but I can't elimi
Hi everyone. I used Audition to extract songs from several CDs to create a playlist. Since the songs are extracted from different CDs, it's natural that they have different volumes. I'd like to know how to use Match Loudness to level all the songs so that they are heard at the same volume. Or, is there another way in Audition to level all the songs.
Aloha!tl;drI want to use Audition to clean the audio for a short film, and the workflow isn't working. I've got a short film teetering on the point between rough and fine cut, so I'm ready to start getting serious about audio. I want to do most of the initial work (noise removal, spectral repair, normalization) in Audition. If I right-click on a clip in the Timeline and say "Edit in Audition," it opens that instance in Audition, and when I save changes they cascade back to Premiere. A new clip appears both on the Timeline and in the Project as "File_Extracted." Ok, fine, but... Most of these audio clips are used multiple times, with separate in and out points. What I want it to edit the source clip, and have those changes cascade into the project. I don't want to manually do the same noise correction on five sections of the same clip. If I right-click on the audio file in the Project bin, and hit "Edit in Audition," it opens in Audition. Any changes I make and save
This has been going on for awhile through different versions and had hoped it would just get fixed, but apparently not. In Hiss Reduction clicking Capture Noise Floor no longer works for Channel 1, only Channel 2, making it half useless.
Is there a way to direct SAVE AS and EXPORT as two different ways? For example, I save a file twice, once for the station I am currently working at for Wide Orbit. So it does the IMPORT path and the Wide Orbit file type. But I also want to save it as an MP3 in a google drive, for use on another station that I voice track for, that isn't Wide orbit. When i click export or save as, they adopt the last way saved.... I'd like for Save As to do the MP3 way and EXPORT to go to Wide Orbit so I'm not taking a lot of extra time clicking on the two fields each time... sounds like a minor problem, but when i'm doing 15 to 20 tracks a day its TIME CONSUMING and mind numbing... Just checking for a better, time saving, solution.
Currently, if I select Extract Audio from CD, ALL of the tracks are checked for extraction by default. I rarely extract more than one track from a CD, so have to uncheck up to 24 or more tracks individually. It would be helpful if there were an "Uncheck All" option, or the default were all unchecked with a "Check All" option and that seems like a relatively simple coding feature. Then again, maybe that's an option that I'm just not seeing. Thanks for any response.
My sound level only shows to -60dB. How do I get it to show down to -70?
When Spectrally deleting or even muting waveform audio in the Spectral Frequency Display window, instead of a clean removal, it will semi regularly cause a digital audio artifact/click at the very start of where the selection occurred. This is frustrating because there's no way to remove the click as trying to do so just creates more of these. I've tried changing both the Smooth delete/cut boundaries and all edit boundaries from 5ms to everything possible but that doesn't make a difference either. I feel it's a bug because if instead of deleting or muting you Deamplify the same audio by like -99 db, it doesn't happen. MacOS 15.7.1 (24G231) and Audition 25.6, but this issue has been present for many versions.
Hi everyone, We're excited to announce a new Adobe Community experience is coming this January. A little bit about the update:The new experience will be simpler to navigate, make it easier to connect with other creatives and Adobe experts, and will give you clearer ways to share feature ideas, enhancement requests, and bug reports—with greater visibility into their status with our product teams. In the meantime: Adobe Community will remain active. Keep using it as usual—there will be no interruption in access. In fact, you’ll notice even more Adobe Experts on deck to provide faster responses before, during, and after the update. No existing content will be lost in the update. Every single post, reply, solution, feature request, and bug report you’ve made will be transferred to the new experience. You won't need to recreate anything. Existing content will reappear in two phases. When we launch the new community, all posts created on or before November 16 will be there from day one. Aft
Esteemed guys and gals who use Audition for a living,I wanted you to know, I’ve been using it since college, and it has been great so far. That being said, I am a voice artist, and I’m constantly traveling due to work and family commitments. It would really be a lifesaver if a version of Audition existed both for iPhone and iPad, to make recording on the go flow more smoothly.I understand that audio processing requires significant computing power, but I mean, wouldn't it be amazing if it existed at some point?Thank you for taking the time to read my message, and I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year .
Hi, in my opinion Adobe Audition has one the most usable frequency analysis tool (comparing to other software). It allow us to work both in real time, but to perform static analysis too. This is a big advanteges comparing to all VST plugins, which work in real time. However, most VST plugins have possibility to set slope. Example: if we set slope 3 db / octave, then the pink noise (similar to typical music) become less-or-more flat in the spectrum anaylysis. ISSUES: - music has natural slope similar to pink noise (~3db/oct) - it's true in physical world, but human hear / think "flat",- without slope we need to set a lot of range on dB scale to fit the whole singlal on the graph,- if we have big range it's hard to see 2-3 dB differences in the low fruequencies without zoom in (so we need different zoom for low and middle-high frequencies). PROPOSITION: Add slope parameter to the frequency analysis.
Hi, gain / fade envelope are helpful to edit volume envelope (down or up) with custom curve. For example we can define common curve to gain up by 3 dB, but with smooth ends to avoid artefacts. ISSUE: If we need the same curve but for 1,77 dB we need to edit the curve manually. Proposition: Quick scale factor to simply scale all curve points by a constant factor (vertical scaling).
Hello! Anyone Know how to fix this? I got a error for audition telling me to save and then close audition. So i did that, but when i reopend my file the below occured, Audition clearly is showing something was recorded but the frequency view has nothing. When I play the section where there is nothing its silent until the section where the spectral view is showing. Any ideas on how i can restore?
Hi guys - I am having trouble making an Aggregate Device (Mac Midi setup) work in audition. I can get either element work (and I'm pretty sure if I use the aggregate device I can work one of them through the system), but I have a Rockville Mixer and a Blue Yeti Mic and I can't get both of them to come through at the same time. If anyone has any input as to how to work the settings (most likely the Audio MIDI Setup) to get both of these elements to come through at the same time so I can play things from the mixer and the mic, it would be geratly appreciated. Feel free to work through anything you think may be effecting this in Audition but I am fairly certain that the problem is either in the MIDI setup or the Sound settings on Mac. Thanks,Rob
I have the Wide Orbit plugin to save from Adobe Audition directly into our automation system. Every time I save a pop up comes up BEHIND the Adobe Audition Screen instead of in front. Is there a way to change this so that it pops up in front so it's not hidden?
Hi,RMS histogram is very helpful, while working with dynamics. However, it's hard to read for files with a lot of "digital silence" (e.g. due to hard noise gaite usage). In my option it may be solved by implementing zoom in functionality (similator to spectrum analizer).
Hi, currently there are 2 "display modes" in Adobe Audition editor: waveform and spectral. In my opinion it may be helpful to add another one: loudness display. Currently it's hard to make static loudness analyze (RMS/LUFS in time).Amplitude statistics work on the entrie file (or selection), so we don't se how it fluctuates over the time. On the other hand, plugins like loudness meter works in real time only. Example usage:- identify problematic parts needed attention easily,- see static preview how given FX changes loudness of the whole file (before apply),- manual leveling. I tried to found similar functionality in other apps, but I didn't found anything useful.
