Camera Raw Favorites are not appering in the Bridge 2024 Develop Settings list under Edit -> Develop Settings. This is a new Bridge 2024 install on a new MacBook Pro M3 Max. This includes both marking imported User Presets as Favorites and marking Adobe included presets as Favorites in Camera Raw. Note that Favorites are correctly included in the Apply Favorite Preset list on the Camera Raw pop-out panel. But not in Bridge under Edit -> Develop Settings. Thank you.
Cada vez que en Bridge selecciono un conjunto de imagenes Herraminetas>photoshop, me pide actualizar la ultima version de Photosshop. Como puedo solucionar esto? ya he actualizado la ultima versionj y sigue pidiendo lo mismo. Gracias
When I double click on a Scrivener file it won't open. I need to right-click and choose Scrivener, which IS set to be the system default for opening .scriv files. All other third-party programs I use will open from Bridge via a double click, which is convenient as I have Bridge open all day on its own monitor.A small glitch, to be sure, but it would be nice to see it fixed.
In our environment AutoRun and AutoPlay are disabled on all Windows machines. After that change was made, the "Get Photos From" option in Adobe Bridge 2024 is no longer able to detect our Lexar memory cards inserted into the Lexar RW5550 card reader. It does not even detect the card reader. I have found other posts about this being a bug in Adobe Bridge 2023 and installing the latest Visual C++ Runtimes as a workaround, but that does not work either. Anyone have any idea how to get this working again? It is not possible to re-enable AutoPlay in the environment.
Hello. Quick qualifiers:I am on Bridge V14.0.2 (haven't updated to the most recent release but this has been an issue for me for several versions of Bridge before this one.Mac Ventura 13.6.3 on a Mac Studio with an M1 Max Chip and 64Gb of Ram.I've tried a couple of the other solutions I've seen including giving full disk access to Bridge through the Mac security settings, as well as ensuring the files are on my SSD, and it is exportig to my SSD. I also completly rebooted my computer and started only Bridge before trying the export.I reliably get this error message on some file types. The files I am trying to get a PDF image of are themselves PDFS and I have them set to Overprint a "Spot White" Coloured Purple for my RIP Software and the printer we send it to.I tried removing the spot white colour and just having it CMYK purple overprint just for the PDF as we only use the bridge PDF for viewing by the Print operator.I also tried just removing the files in question and having just
Is there a way to use the thumbnail file view, and have it display the entire file name? I realize that viewing in the List mode displays the full file name, but I would like to be able to see the full file name in the thumbnail mode. I have searched through the preferences and also could not find anything relevant in the already posted community discussions - any chance there is someone out there who can help me out? Any info would be greatly appreciated - Thanks!
After updating Bridge to 13.0.2 and Camera Raw to 15.1.1, I experienced a number of problems when using same apps. One particularly annoying problem occurs when cropping images in Camera Raw.For the making of a photo book I use images cropped to two different presets: 62x43 for landscapes and 30x43 for portraits. In the past I've never had any problems with cropping, but currently I'm having difficulties to perform the required cropping actions.Having cropped a set of images with a preset of 62x43 and changing to a preset of 30x43, the custom ratio of 30x43 is consistently reset to 62x43 and images are cropped accordingly. Changing the preset ratio to 30x43 requires clearing all Camera Raw presets (via Edit / Ctrl + Camera Raw Prefs) and start anew. Returning to 62x43 requires the same procedure. To further complicate matters, this behavior occurs only for the above presets. Having set a ratio of 62x43, I’m unable to generate a preset of 30x43, vice versa. With a current preset of 62x34
Hi all, I'm wondering if it's possible for batch rename to implement consecutive numbering into the MIDDLE of a filename. In the attached example, I want to replace the .1's with .1, .2., .3 etc but keep everything else identical. Would appreciate any instructions, as hard to figure it out within the batch rename function....
When I cull I go through photos to select the best I start with a sort by date created. When I give a photo a rating, the sort order changes. The photo will move 2-10 spaces in the order. This is disorienting, and could cause me to miss good photos. As I shoot sports often at 15 or 30 fps, I have many photos shot in the same second. Giving the photo a rating of 1 seems to move the photo to the last phot in that second. Attache dis photo where you can see a rating of 1 star has moved the phtoo out of order.
Hi, I'm using a Nikon Z6 with a 64GB XQD card. On my Mac mini M1, it's almost impossible to download photos using Adobe Bridge - Photo Downloader. First, in the "Get Photos from" list, there are two memory cards / or partitions #1 and #2. Sometimes one differs from the other in content, but sometimes they contain the same amount of photos. In addition, sometimes after downloading photos (this is possible only with a small number of photos on the card), the photos are corrupted: for example, only half of the photo is visible. It is not possible to download more photos (e.g. 250).The same photos from the same card can easily be copied quickly using the Finder with no issues. When I put the same card in a Windows computer where Bridge is installed - everything works fine. I also tried with a different card - a different manufacturer and with a different reader / adapter - always the same.See what's going on in the attached video if you have enough patience. The video is in real time (notic
The title says it all: Unzip should only extract and refresh the display. Opening a new window is not helpful, as this forces a context change / potential disorientation. Please let Bridge extract zips right in context like every other tool.
We recently purchased a Synology RS815+ NAS for use by our Creative team running Mac OS X. We set up indexing on the NAS and the OS X clients are able to search for and find files on the NAS with no problems. With Bridge, however, it's a different story. Bridge doesn't bring up any search results unless you first use Bridge to go into the directory containing the file you are searching for. If you reboot the Mac it resets everything so that it again brings up no search results, even for files it found before the reboot, until you again manually browse the parent folder in Bridge. Does anybody know how to successfully search a NAS drive using Bridge? Many thanks,Nick
Find the photoshop_v2024.jsx file in your /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Startup Scripts CC change tempPSVersionInfo.bridgeTargetVersion = '14';totempPSVersionInfo.bridgeTargetVersion = '12'; Thank you Adobe for your proffesional shareholders and economic management. You are the backboneof informatic evolution and optimization*. *With the new Camera RAW gui, workflow is 3x slower.
it would be great to implement some adobe bridge features like the rating- and labeling-system into frame.io. if i could upload my pictures from adobe bridge directly into frame.io including my ratings/labels, where other colaborators could see in frame.io my ratings and have the same ability to filter photos by ratings and even apply their own ratings, would be just great.
Can adobe bridge be used offline? I tried to install it but it wanted me to log in. I'm a very private person and the type of photos I want to use in bridge aren't the kind I want my name on.
Explanation on what is wrong: No matter what I do, Bridge seems to generate lower quality thumbnails when it works on them. When bridge has a chance to cache a thumbnail, it will always cache an extremely low quality grainy thumbnail that is nearly unreadable. When I prevent it from caching them, they can look ok for a little bit, but inevitably (when I click on them or when it decides to generate thumnbails for a folder), it will cache and extremely bad looking thumbnail. I am attaching 2 example files, one of them is the thumbnail before it processes it, and the worse looking grainy one is after the file has been clicked on. This just cannot be how bridge is intended to process thumbnails, they look incredibly bad. Note: This is also happening in the preview window if it is set to certain settings and reduced to a lower viewport size. How I can reproduce it: I use the zoom hotkey on the folder window and it will reload all of the thumbnails into a much more v
It seems since today's update, the sort order is not sticking when I do a manual sort.It may stick for a while, but then will unstick. The version is 13.0.0.562, Windows 11.
When in Filmstrip view, there is a pane that shows thumbnails of every file and photo in the current folder. There is a scrollbar at the bottom of this pane. Whenever I delete any file, the scrollbar automatically jumps all the way back to the begining (left). How can I make it stop doing this? I need the scrollbar to remain where it was. Since I have to scroll, often a long ways, and then find and recognize the place where I just was, this feature makes it nearly impossible to cull photos using Bridge for any folder with more than a few files in it.
Until yesterday I never had an issue copying or moving files and folders from one location to another in Bridge on a Windows 10 PC. Starting yesterday, and continuing today, I try to copy or move files and the small screen displays the box "Moving (or copying) Files estimated remaining time" and remains blank. Nothing moves. Nothing changes. I've cleared the cache, increased the cache, rebooted the computer, and every now and then it works, but mostly doesn't. I do not have this problem on my Macbook. I do not recall any updates in the past couple of days. This is a critical blow to workflow and I deal with 1000's of images . . .
I'd like to start by saying that I love Adobe Bridge. But unfortunately, like Apple, every “upgrade” seems to come with numerous headaches. I still can’t believe Adobe would get rid of the ability to open multiple windows in BR 2023. And with the new BR 2024, users can no longer adjust the interface uniformly (it’s just black, dark, and white). Also in BR 2024, when multiple windows are open, and I click on one, all the BR windows come to the front. In BR 2021, I can have numerous windows open, and when I click on one, just that one window comes up as active. So an older version of Bridge has more functionality than the two newest versions. This is why I fear updates.
Cet outil pour redresser les verticales ou horizontales a disparu de la liste des outils de modification il n'y a plus que l'outil "optique" est ce normal??Cordialement
I only need to input a description to work with Indesign captions, keywords (tags), and perhaps a headline. I started under IPTC (IIM, Legacy), and it seems to work, but there are so many options. What are the differences? I found an article in Adobe but it did not include the Attributes section. When I select "Attributes" to show under preferences it does not. I did not take any of these photos. I am organizing them for a client and uploading them into Forever.
I've been a loyal Adobe user for decades and love most of their products. I am writing this to ask a simple question. Why can't a simple fix be written so that we can change the default setting for viewing and sorting in Bridge? Years ago it was possible to set our preference and everytime It opened or reopened it remained set to our custom preference. I understand you can "manually" sort or set a "temporary" sorting preference to your liking, BUT... I have thousands of files and folders that would be too time consuming to go manual at this point, and the temporary fix doesn't even stay applied every time the window is minimized. Tech support doesn't have an answer (other than "going manual"). I'm a freelance designer and my breadth of work is just not photo image work, but depending on a particular project the sorting formula can change. At the very least I'd like to keep my preference set as long as I am working and the computer's on. Since it changed to the current default
I've just installed this new released version on MacOS and an old bug appered back again! When I save a new .psd file from a CR2 one, the photoshop file does not appear in the content of the panel. This was a pretty annoying bug of some previous versions that was fixed after a while and now here it is again! I use Bridge to share photos with my clients, but with this problem I have to spend much more time as I cannot use my saved export rules on iCloud. I wonder how the development teams performs "no regression tests"...Thanks a lot
Hello!First of all, I am fairly familiar with Bridge BUT I do not use collections very often. I have a project with a client now, where I have to do a lot of culling and potentially identifying duplicates. I have around 4000 files in total (not all of them are images). The reason I have been asked is the client is taking over a business and their image assets are a mess. Lots of different folders, most of them empty, lots of them hosting images that aren't usable dating decades ago etc...I waded through most of the different folders and assigned all the files I could find in different collections. My aim there was to not disrupt the somewhat crazy hierarchical system and only work on usable images. Now I have around 4200 images in those folders and only have say 3000 in the collections. so there's 1200 missing, and I'm more or less certain that I put all of them in one of the collections. So basically, I would like to know if there is a way to locate all the files that aren't in
