Bridge

I often shoot a bracketed set of images, and stack those to make sorting through them easier. From there, I will rate them as different star ratings to help me narrow down the best shots.Since version 13 or 14, when I then filter by star rating, bridge will randomly change which image is the top of the stack. First off, this seems like a bug since it appears random, and why would it be like that? It should stack images based on file numer of time created, not randomly select different images to show as the top image. Or at the very least there should be an option to change how images are ordered in stacks.Going through each stack to "promote" a different image to the top of the stack takes an unnecessarily long amount of time when this issue never used to exist. The problem is when bridge randomly selects one of the darker images from the stack, it makes the sorting through my images much more difficult because I can't evaluate them equally when some stacks display brighter or dar

Im tired of dealing with this recurring bug! I've wasted hours resetting file and folder permissions, reinstalling bridge, photoshop camera raw. Changing keyboard shortcuts. Resetting preferences and purging caches. PSD v RAW FILESI can change the label of PSD files but not raw files within Bridge. CAMERA RAW v BRIDGEI can change the label of raw files within Camera Raw which then update in Bridge, but not within Bridge itself.

Hello there - I am new to the forum and have been using photoshop now for a long time. Recently I have been having issues with sorting my images in bridge and I can't seem to figure it out. I am downloading from 3 cameras - 2 of mine and 1 assistant. I can't seem to get bridge to sort them in the correct order - or to date created. There are times on the images in the file info but no matter how I sort them is doesn't seem to do it correctly. This is making my editing job so much harder. I do a time stamp before I shoot - but it doesn't seem to matter any more - I have to go back and manually sort them which is a huge pain!! What am I missing? Thanks so much! Kathy

I used to be able to drop any file or folder from Finder (Mac OS) onto the Bridge icon in dock and it would show me the contents of that folder in Bridge. This basic feature no longer works with Bridge 2026.This is unacceptable!

At some point, I must have changed settings; I know when, but not what.In Adobe Bridge, prior to a certain date, videos taken with my Air Mavic 2s showed thumbnails / previews fine.  After that date, it just shows the .mp4 icon.Any ideas?Thanks,Mike

Hallo, wenn ich in Adobe Bridge 2024 unter Windows 10 ein Bild lösche, ist es in der Übersicht verschwunden. Nach F5 ist es wieder da. Lösche ich ein Bild auf der Festplatte, ist es in Adobe Bridge 2024 auch nach F5 nicht mehr vorhanden. In den Einstellungen von Adobe Bridge 2024 habe ich keinen Eintrag gefunden, der sich mit dem Löschen beschäftigt. Wenn Du ein Anwender von Adobe Bridge 2024 bist, hast Du vielleicht einen Tip für mich, wie ich dieses Problem abstellen kann. Gruß Hein

Bridge is not showing thumbnails for .mxf files. Please repair this. I am on Mac Studio M3 Ultra / MacOS 15.7.1 / Bridge 15.1.2.737

Hello, Having a panic. I favourited a bunch of photos using the star rating in camera raw, then in Bridge, I selected create new folder with selected images and the folder never appeared and these photos have GONE. I checked the recycling bin, I checked the original folder and I'm just so confused - does anyone know where they could've gone??  Thank you! 

I've just experienced this. After editing in Camera Raw, The thumbnails in Bridge do not update. When I go to Bridge Photoshop>> Image Processor, the CR3 files output a .jpg but the edits are not showing, just a jpg of an image that needs editing. Specifically, if I were to de-noise, and open from the thumbnail into photoshop, the Camera Raw image will show the updates, but when I close Camera Raw, the thumbnail in Bridge doesn't change. Outputting a .jpg still shows all the noise. Perhaps this is a setting, as it's a new computer because I lost my hard drive and this is a new install on the new Drive. Windows 11 Home. Also, on my Updates, I used to have Photoshop Beta, but that's not available now. I need to process these images, but to do so from Bridge is not working. Any help is appreciated. 

I've been using Bridge for som years now, but I have stayed away from the rest of the suite from Adobe. And I've had the same old good old bugs you all complain about. But it always worked, even if at times (most times actually) quite buggy. I have 2023, 2024 and 2025 on my system if one of them didnt work for some reason. 2023 was ALWAYS my fallback as it was at least stable regardless. Soooo I just installed Photoshop and Lightroom Classic after years of abscence from the Adobe World. But after installing PS and LR, nothing works. Every single version just crashes and stalls. Result is I have to force quit and open up again. But same thing happens. It crashes. It unusable in any way shape or form.Then I noticed that the install has flipped the "autoupdate" switch in "Creative Cloud"..... I ALWAYS wait and see if theres new bugs introduced. Clearly now, nothing works. LR and PS works flawlessly. Just not any version of Bridge. What up with that? Grumpy Face

Is there a way to display the image metadata, esp the file name in full screen mode?This is possible in Slideshow mode, but there  I can't see an equivalent setting in full screen mode. SBB

Unable to succesfully download/open Bridge V16.Mac suggests file does not have a date attached and will not open the download from Creative Cloud.Previous version 15.1.2.737 crashes when a search is entered.

As title says, the new update completely removed my ability to open any files in bridge rendering it completely useless. Needs fixing ASAP.

Ich habe seit paar Tagen das Problem, dass wenn ich Bilder von der Kamera importiere und in Bridge öffne, sind alle im Querformat. Auch Hochkant Bilder. Ich muss dann alle Hochkant markieren und manuell drehen. Hat wer eine Lösung? Hab über die Voreinstellungen nichts gefunden. Ich hab die Verion v16.0.0.

I installed Bridge 2026 to upgrade Bridge 2025 15.1.2 and it will not launch. I allowed the upgrader to copy settings and remove the old version. I have tried rebooting and running as admin with the same result. After reinstalling Bridge 2025 I can run that but the keywords panel is completely empty! There is no "Bridge 2026" folder in AppData\Roaming\Adobe\. Where are the settings that were copied over? I'm running Windows 10 on an old computer.

I don’t know how Bridge works with files, but I have a strange problem. On one of the computers, I keep getting corrupted PSD files — but only on this one. Let me explain: we have pre-processed PSD files on a NAS server and download them to workstation computers for processing. However, on one of the computers, the files get randomly corrupted. I don’t know if it matters, but only this computer has an Intel Arc 750 GPU; the others use Nvidia GPUs. Please see the screenshot.

Hi!While using it, I noticed that it handles images slowly, sometimes it freezes during use. When exiting, clicking on the red X reacts slowly, it exits the program after 5-10 seconds, in worse cases it freezes. I hoped that these problems would be fixed, but I don't see any significant progress in this area. Please fix the errors. Simple free image management and viewing programs work faster with images. Please study competing programs. 

For the last week i have had issues in bridge. Working on a Macbook and have the latest version of Bridge 16.0.0.63. After downloading files onto my laptop i can see all the image thumbnails, then as i click on them some of them change to LR CR3 instead of the image thumbnail. I can't open them in Camera Raw or Photoshop (image below). I can see and open them in Lightroom. I've tried different SD cards and they both are doing it. I have tried purging the cache and increasing the size of it. Please help.

I have been trying to export a MOV drone file as a JPEG sequence, it always comes in with odd numbers. ... in this case, 90000, so I tried batch rename, and the order came in wrong, so that the footage was jerky (it wasn't in the original form. Chat GPT has been hopeless and leading me on a wild goose chase, so I'm asking humans :).  Any ideas?

Hi: Decided to give Bridge a try again although it only opens correctly in about 75% of tries!But my main problem, whern it does work, is that I can't find how to show a histogram for an image. Seems a bit odd to me.Thanks

Please, improve Bridge for features, the creators need and use every day.We need features to manage audio and video files.Sorting and searching by audio and video duration length.

Upgraded to photoshop 2026 and the new version of bridge the problem is now bridge will not load my selections into photoshop, I get an error message saying its still pointing to photoshop 2025 and cant load into the 2026 version. How do i get it to point to the new version?

Hello,I'd like to report an annoying bug... My BRIDGE is flickering when previewing thumbnail images in a folder.I'm on Macbook Pro M1 Max. Anybody else having this issue and know how to fix?Thanks.
