Bridge

So suddenly when I choose Reveal in Bridge from by 2018 InDesign, it is taking me to Creative Cloud, and trying to force me to download 2019 Bridge.  I am not ready to switch to the 2019 Apps yet (have an older Mac Pro, that I'm afraid might have problems with them). Is there a way I can repoint it to the 2018 version on my Mac.  When I do the reverse (open an InDesign file from Bridge) it works fine.Just seem to be spending more and more time dealign with compatibility issues with and between my Adobe Apps these days.

Hello,This question was answered 5 months ago, but since that time Adobe has made considerable changes (eg. Lightroom now requiring a CC subscription).I'm wondering:  is Bridge still free?I understand that one may be required to register for CC and install the CC application.  But those things can be done without paying anything (ie. for free).  Are these things sufficient to download and run Bridge?  Or beyond a trial period, to continue to use Bridge, does one have to be subscribed to some CC product for which there are the monthly fees?Thanks in advance!

when copying files to a location where a file of the same name exists - is there a way to default to "auto resolve" without having to click that choice every time?(thank you in advance)teajay

I've always set up Bridge with Folders (left side), Content (tall vertical center), Preview (upper right side), and Metadata (lower right side).  However, something has happened so that now, after I reduce Bridge or close it, the next time I open it Folders and Metadata are gone and Content fills most of the screen. How do I fix this?  Is there a way to get what I want and then "lock it" so it will always remain the same whenever I open Bridge?

Hello,So I have a recent problem with Adobe Bridge:Yesterday I was working on some raw .MOV Data and everything worked fine. Today I opened up Bridge and it didn’t show a preview anymore.Note that it was different .MOV Data than yesterday! New importet to the iMac. But there’s no difference to the other files.Some facts:I work on an iMac 10.14.1Adobe Bridge 2019 and Camera RAW are up to dateQuick Time is installedI already tried clearing the Bridge cache and restart the AppAny other ideas what could cause this problem now?I can still open the videos with other apps, just the preview in Bridge is not working anymore.Best regards

Preferences could use some updating. here is one idea I think many users may appreciate. Do Not Process files larger than ###MBThis should include the following1. Do Not Process files larger than ###MB2. Do Not process images larger than ###MB --> until all others have been processed.Add a Toggle - Process smallest first / Newest first / last modified first...etc

So I have a i7 surface pro windows 10 yadda yadda and when i open bridge ...it will pop up with an empty adobe cc box as it struggles to load things. Often it pops up with the above message and then completely freezes, crashes when i click on it, and only works like after restarting program again. this is pretty ridiculous and i think only happened after i did an adobe update to the 2019 one. Any help?

Is Bridge 2017. 7.0.0.93 compatible with Mac OS Mojave?

Bridge CC will not display any MOV files from Iphone 7 and further displays the error message "the operation could not be completed" when any file is clicked upon. If i convert them to .mov files or mp4 files they will display the thumbnail, but clicking on one still generates the error message.   Any other better workarounds or fixes?

Since updating to OSX Mojave, Bridge (latest version 9.01.216) is constantly crashing on open. I do a preferences reset but then it won't load the .xmp settings or previews to reflect adjustments made to raw files.I have been using Bridge since it was first launched, and have never been so frustrated or disappointed as I am now.

I have had a T2i since forever. I have been using CS6 & Bridge to edit. Well now I have upgraded my camera to a 5D Mark II and Bridge/CS6 can no longer read my RAW files. I updated all my Adobe products as it suggested. Still didn't work. Clicked a link in help that led me to Adobe's DNG converter so I installed that. Still not working. I'm not sure what to do next. I'm hopeful that it is an easy fix that I'm just overlooking. Thanks in advance for any help.

With Bridge open and an image selected, I then open it into Camera RAW. Once I've completed processing the image in Camera RAW, I click Open Image at bottom to transport it to Photoshop 20.0.1 which I think is the latest update. Everything in the Adjustments Tab won't work and if I go to the top of the page and click on any of the tabs, most options are Greyed Out. This is the normal workflow I use and have for years with no problem. But I believe there is a issue with the latest update of Bridge cc 9.0.1.216 that will cause this problem. It never occurred with previous versions of Bridge. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a FIX?Rick

I cannot open any folders from my computer on Bridge.  This has been happening since i uploaded CC.  Therefore I cannot use Bridge the way I am used to using it.  I would like to talk to someone at Adobe but that doesn't seem to be possible.  Does anyone know how to contact Adobe for phone helpo

Когда открываю то же самое изображение с помощью программы просмотра изображений, прямоугольники отсутствуют. Однако открыв как-то такое изображение в Photoshop через Camera Raw с ужасом обнаружила что все эти прямоугольники остались на изображении! Проблема возникла еще в старой версии Bridge дней пять назад, после установки обновлений, к сожалению проблема не исчезла.

latest Bridge missing - Tool_Photoshop_Load files in Photoshop layers. In fact there is no more Tool/Photoshop option.Is there any work around on this?

Hello!  I frequently used the Adobe Bridge Merge Images feature and I am not sure what I am missing but I no longer see that available.I previously would just click on the multiple images that I wanted to merge in photoshop and then click Tools > Photoshop > Merge to HDR Pro and it would open the images in Photoshop and automatically layer them for me.  Now I don't even see the Photoshop option under the Tools anymore.  I swear I just used this feature recently (since the last time I updated my programs) hopefully someone can help me figure out what I'm missing or if there is something I need to do.  I know I can merge them from Lightroom but in some circumstances using bridge is more convenient for my process so hoping I can get this figured out.Thanks so much for your help. 

I want to re install my CS5 on a new laptop, but I cannot un install off my old crashed laptop as it is scrap And I am not sure if my CS5 student version if compatible with the new laptop's Windows 10  ???I would appreciate any help as Adobe do not seem give a support option for specific queries, just generic product buttons which do not apply.????

If I want to rename an existing file or create a new folder in Bridge CC 2019 and I want to name it e.g. "2018" or "5-years later" or something else with a number in it, Bridge doesn't insert the char in the filename (as expected) but instead changes the star rating of the folder/file.I assume this is a bug, isn't it?

I use Bridge to batch rename my photos. (ie: photo_001, photo_002) After updating Bridge to 2019, I can no longer use numbers to rename.If I try to use a number it doesn't show up but adds a star or rating. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Windows 10, lots of everything...  Current version of Bridge.  I don't RECALL it doing anything this bizarre in the last version, certainly didn't in the version I used a month ago.This HAS to be something incredibly dumb, 'cause there's NO WAY Adobe would actually make Bridge do this on purpose...Standard workspace, thumbnails on right.  Filename is something like 180523_2325.jpg, and I need to change the filename to 1583 2325 goose.jpg...  Previously I clicked the filename, then clicked again (not too fast 'cause then it tries to open it in Photoshop) to highlight the whole name then clicked again to put the cursor in the filename so I can edit it.NOW, I do the same thing, the cursor is in the same place, and I can use the numeric keypad on the RIGHT to change the numbers in the filename, but the numbers at the top of the keyboard don't change the filename, they cause a variety of bizarre behavior...For example, third thumbnail in the row, cursor in the filename a
