Hi,I would like to be able to add some extra metadata fields to pictures, for use in Bridge. I have heard that it is possible, but I don't understand how to do it. Can you please point me to a comprehensive guide to completing this operation or give me some pointers?Thank you in advance.
Good morning, since a few weeks we are working on Mac. We have our files on a server so every employe can use the same files. I connected to the server via a IP adress. But since we work on Mac I'm not abled to change files in Bridge. Even if I open a PSD file in Bridge for excample. I can't save that file. I have to open the file over finder. If I open the File in Bridge I have to save it on my desktop an copy paste it in finder. It is like every action is blocked in Bridge, but only on the server. If i wan't to chagen something stored direktly on my Mac everything works fine.Do somebody have the same problem? Thank you for your help.Kind regards Erwin
I was trying to track down a situation where Bridge was previewing files different than how Photoshop was viewing them and noticed that PSD saves color profile in the metadata of "untagged" PSD files. Bridge then shows the files as having embedded profiles. Saving image in other format for example JPG removes the data that Bridge seems to be accessing. I've cleared the Bridge cache.metadata from PSD file of image with profile removed via Edit/Assign Profile/Don't color manage :ad47d4ecb02f</stRef:originalDocumentID> </xmpMM:DerivedFrom> <xmp:ModifyDate>2018-09-20T07:58:29-04:00</xmp:ModifyDate> <xmp:CreatorTool>Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 (Macintosh)</xmp:CreatorTool> <xmp:CreateDate>2003-05-05T09:26:13-04:00</xmp:CreateDate>
I am setting up a new Windows 10 desktop PC with a C: SSD for programs and a 2 TB 😧 HHD for data, to run Photoshop and Bridge 2018. I am a digital collage artist so I do frequent Bridge searches during a project to find just the right background, texture, element, etc. I have about 14,000 images, 30 GB worth, that are multiple keyworded by subject, color, era, size, etc, The Core i7 processor is fast, but I'm wondering if creating a partition on the data drive, exclusively for the images I search in Bridge, will have a noticeable effect on search speeds. Alternatively, I could put the image catalog on the SSD drive (no partition), which would certainly give the fastest search results. However, when the image base eventually grows too large, I would have to move it to the data drive anyway. Would rather start out as I mean to go on, with the most efficient use of the two drives. Thanks for your thoughts!
I select my files in Bridge . Open them in the Raw converter. Then on to Photoshop. When I select more files in Bridge I cannot open them in the Raw converter or even open as a jpeg anymore.I have to close Bridge and reopen bridge for it to open more files in the Raw converter. This a new problem. It has worked fine for years.Windows 10 OSGB

I have been having a problem with Bridge changing the order or sequence photos or shot on my camera. Originally I thought it was the camera, Nikon D600, but the problem has not changes even with newer cameras. This symptom was not present when I had CS5, only since I subscribed to Photoshop CC. This problem has really become an issue now that I am photographing high schools sports. Changing from Win 8.1 to 10 has had no effect on the problem and I have been doing all the Adobe updates.
I am attempting to add multiple keywords to images in Bridge via the 'Keywords' panel. I'm not attempting to 'batch' apply the keywords to multiple keywords...simply adding multiple keywords to a single image. The issue I'm experiencing is the inability to add more than 2 keywords one right after the other. As soon as I add 2, Bridge needs to 'take a break', I have no other idea how to describe it. It just becomes completely dysfunctional and I have no choice but to wait for it to regain functionality.....typically somewhere in the 15-20 second range. In addition to the above, it's common to have some sort of 'temp file' appear in the thumbnails strip at the bottom of my workspace. See the attached screen cap. That 'white' colored file is not there when I begin to add keywords. It only appears shortly after the 15 second 'break' starts, and eventually disappears. Based on the behavior, I'm guessing the appearance of that 'temp file' and the fact that Bridge seems to retain keywords I've
This has only been happening since the most recent updates. I am getting slow computer startup due to Bridge launching itself, once startup is done the Bridge page is not full screen and has the Preview and Metadata panes covering most of the thumbnail pane. At this point I can close Bridge and relaunch it and everything is fine.I am using Windows 10 64 bit with AMD HD8470 graphics card with all drivers etc up to date.Any suggestions on how to solve this please?
I want to work with Bridge. If I classify photographs, I put keywords, and in the future I changed my computer, how can I keep the work?
Hi, I am trying to create a PDF file using my documents from Photoshop and exporting them into one final document from Bridge. When I bring the documents into Bridge from photoshop, the images become extremely red. Why is this happening? Is there some sort of setting I need to change? I have tried changing the color settings, but cannot figure out why it turns my images red. Thank you!
Aidez-moi s'il vous plaît !The solicitation of RAM is racing in Adobe Bridge CC. My Mac Pro is in perfect condition (tested). Only Photoshop CC and Bridge are open. After only a few minutes of use, a window warns me that the memory is full and Bridge closes itself. Help me please !
Greetings.I have a Mac High Sierra and am working in Bridge in Filmstrip mode. Five days ago History went missing from my Bridge CC Window and the History tab is missing from the right panel. As a matter of fact there is no right panel at all. Online standard response to this is to click on Window and select History from the menu or, failing that, click on the History tab. Neither works for me. "History" remains conspicuously and frustratingly absent from both. In addition and in the process of trying to understand what the problem is and how to solve I've managed to loose my settings and workspace several times. This is driving me crazy. I'm lost and would be most grateful for any suggestions. Thanks ahead of time.Jpkln
How do I get Photodownloader in CS5 to use the latest version of DNG (10.5.0.1001), instead of giving the 'DNG conversion on xxx files failed' error?I have tried installing DNG 10.5.0.1001, then installing the latest update for Bridge, but still get the same error.Selecting the downloaded files with DNG convertor processes them correctly.

Creativity is also present in older people. Many photo club members are older than 50 or 60 years old and only now have time for their hobby: photography. These older people are also the ones who send their photos to national or international photo competitions, whereby before these photos are processed dignified with Adobe Bridge, Camera Raw, Lightroom or Photoshop. Perhaps this majority of older photographers are not so much represented in the so-called social media forums, but they are there and can compete with the younger photographers on photo editing on the PC. It is therefore in my opinion necessary and also desirable to address this group of people.

HelloI want to ask how to make contact sheet For print in Acrobat Dc in A4 paper such as photoshop and bridge cc 2018Thanks
Hi,There is probably an easy answer to this and I've just overlooked it, but here's what I'm trying to accomplish...I have a large directory of images with multiple sub-folders with images contained in them. When I open Adobe Bridge, I use the feature to view items from sub-folders and then I sort by folder name. This gives me all the images from each folder at once. Because there are thousands of Photoshop and JPEG images, it takes a bit of time to filter and display the search results.Once I have this view set up, I then will often pick a photo I like and then want to explore similar photos (different camera shots) from that roll and from that sub-folder. If I click on the Reveal in Bridge option (to see the other related folder images), Bridge will take me to that folder. So far, so good. The issue is that when I click on the back button to go to my original view of all images from all folders, I have to wait for everything to reload and often the view from sub-folders option is no l
