I have cs3 and cs6 I needed space on hard drive so I deleted cs3 now cs6 bridge wont work says it needs cs3 how can I get cs6 bridge working ?[Moved from Premiere Pro CS6 and earlier forum into a Bridge forum and fixed title (was, "CS6") - moderator]

I recently replaced Open Office with Libre Office. Even though I have the association for .doc / .docx files set in Windows to open with MS Office. When I do a simple open in Bridge (CS6) they keep opening wiht Libre Office. How can I get the open in Bridge back to where we open with MS Office?

I haven't used CC for a little while, but I seem to recall a recent update to Bridge?Anyway, just tried opening a file using Bridge and it locks up the computer.Sometimes I can move the mouse, sometimes not.Even if I can, nothing is clickable.Cannot bring up the force quit menu either.The only option is to restart the computer by pressing the power button.Running 10.11.6 on a Mac Pro (early 2008).Cannot contact support by telephone as it's the weekend - just when I needed to get a lot of stuff done urgently!Any help would be appreciated.Regards Russell Fp.s. I did something in Bridge last week I don't know how to fix?When I load my raw files from my Nikon D610, all the photos I load into bridge start to automatically change all the settings to color grade my photos. YIKES! I can't figure out how I did this and want to have files load in bridge just like the settings were in camera...need some help ASAP,,,,,thanks

I'm a relatively new Mac user. Now on Sierra 10.12.6. I installed the PDF Output module but it wouldn't create and play full-screen. So, I deleted the Output files that I installed. That lead to Bridge not opening at all. So, I deleted Bridge by dragging it to Trash. I tried to reinstall from CC but that didn't work. I then found that I could uninstall Bridge from CC and that meant I could reinstall it. However, having uninstalled Bridge and its preferences, and reinstalled it, it still won't open. The Bridge icon makes like it's thinking of opening and then disappears. Anyone with any ideas, please?

For some time I get an error message after three times I load both camera raw in Photoshop that in bridge. At the start of either application repeats the cycle of three loads of camera raw.

Hi there,I have an issue with Bridge who is messing up my files after I run batch rename, as can be seen in the attach screen captures. Some time ago I had it rolled back from Bridge 2017 just because it did not offered anymore the Image Processor in PS and was kind of slow. At that time I had both of them uninstalled completely therefore I don't see any link on the issue, but who knows!?!The point is that after exporting the pictures from LR, pictures taken by up to 4 cameras at a certain event, I need to rename all these files so that in the end I have a continuous countdown along with a dedicated file name (Name+no.). Well, sometimes batch rename works, sometimes it just creating more copies by its own. For instance the example attached worked fine and the customer received the pictures in the proper condition. The photo importer callable from Bridge no longer recognizes my cameras since I installed El Capitan.  I've disabled Apple's Phottos.app from importing.  Is there a workaround, or is it bye-bye Photo Importer for me?  I am of course NOT using CC, but PS 12.last update on a Mac Pro.--Gene

Wenn ich meine Nikon D 500 an den Laptop anschließe, zeigte Adobe Bridge zwar thumbnails, aber nicht die Fotos im Großformat. Die Fotos sind nachweislich auf der Speicherkarte. Stecke ich die Speicherkarte in ein externes Lesegerät, werden die Fotos angezeigt.Ich möchte aber gerne auch die Kamera direkt anschließen können. Dies ist nicht möglich.Hat jemand einen Rat?

Howdy,I am using a Nikon D3200, on an iMac using macOS Sierra 10.12.6. When I first try using Get photos from camera, I get the Photo Downloader dialog box that reads "This device does not contain any supported media."  If I use the refresh list from the GET PHOTOS dropdown, the pictures are loaded into the Photo Downloader.The File > Import from device appears to be working as designed.This all seems kinky to me, as in why won't Get photos from camera work without refreshing the list, but import seems to work fine.  Does import do a less complete job of downloading the files than does Get photos from camera?(BTW I deleted the cache folder, but this had no effect. )Also, I have checked the When a Camera is Connected, Launch Adobe Photo Downloader option in preferences.  This only works if Bridge is already running. I had expected that it would  launch Bridge and Downloader in a manner similar to the Apple Photos App when the camera is connected.

HiHaving a really frustrating time with Bridge not searching external drives. The drive is listed as a favourite and previous versions of Bridge have been able to search and access it. I can manually look at all the files but it won't search it. It only searches whatever is on the Computer Hard Drive. Mac OS is 10.10.5. It might be something simple but I can'r work it out.Robin

How to transfer photo files from windows 7 to windows 10 on a different computer. I've been using a flashdrive but its transferring more info than the old files ever displayed and clogging up bridge files.

Bridge in CS5 (using desk top, Windows) doesn't open, but opens to "My Documents." How can I fix this?  Thank you. 

I have compleated all steps to install the output options in Bridge CC. Now, when we try to export as a PDF file, It displays immediately 1/0 error message. Is there any mistake which we have done while installing the output options in Bridge CC? please share your best suggestions to get out of from this problem. Kind of pointless if I can't export PDF file successfully. We need to get this jobs done as soon as possible. As we want to start work on our client website. Please share the solution in brief. I have Bridge 2014 and use its own search tool. Ever since I got a new Mac with the same version of 2014 the search tool can only find certain documents. Other people can find the files fine but I'm the only one with the problem.

It appears that Bridge’s edit menu > Develop Settings > Clear do not remove Camera Raw Settings metadata that is baked into a JPEG file.One can remove all XMP metadata, however that is a little extreme, it should be possible to target only the CRS metadata and clear it, leaving all other metadata intact (this is possible using ExifTool)…I had a go at hacking an existing script, however it does not work. I’m sure that I’m missing something simple! I followed the instructions on the installation page, the OUTPUT button appears in Bridge but doesn't lead to anything when I click it. Another weird thing, when I went to Application Support > Adobe I found that I had a Bridge CC 2017 folder but no Bridge CC 2017 Extensions folder. I bet that's part of the problem but I don't know know what to do and I don't know why adobe keeps making this stuff more complicated with every update. Please help, I need this for work!

Hi!I have uploaded a folder of jpegs into Bridge that I have made minor adjustments to by bringing them into Camera Raw. Now I can't find how to apply the adjustments to the file (or export the images with the new adjustments if that makes sense). I know I could bring them all into Camera raw and save back into the folder one by one but is there an easier way? Hope this makes sense!

I have added keywords to my illustration assets that I used for searching in Adobe Bridge. Is there a way to search for assets using keywords rather than just the file name in Adobe CC Assets?

I am trying to install the output module on Adobe Bridge. I am totally new to Creative Suite and photoshop. I can't find any information on bridge extensions at all. Where is the extension folder? Is it is Bridge? Is it in Finder? Any information on extensions is much appreciated! What exactly are extensions? What is the difference between the extension folder and extension manager? Thank you!

Hi,I work in Lightroom where I fill in the caption and rate my pictures with stars.Normally when I open the same set of pictures in Bridge the caption is filled in, with the same star rating.But since this week not anymore. When I open my folder with pictures the caption is blank and no rating. When I want to move my folder to my back up disk, I will be moving pictures with an empty caption. So now I have to fill in and rate the pictures again also in Bridge Does anybody know, how to solve this?
