For a very long time (probably over a year), Br has been freezing when switching Workspaces, changing their view from Light Table to Folders, etc. Then only killing it in Task Manager helps. Sometimes it simply shuts down for no reason. Furthermore, indexing thumbnails takes a very long time, and sometimes they don't display at all for larger files. Purging all local cache files helps for a while, but the problem returns quite quickly. Br can also freeze the entire computer upon startup, and only a manual restart is the solution. Task Manager shows two Br processes, one of which persists even after closing it—it also needs to be killed manually. I don't have a GPU in the processor - Xeon W-2255, NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 and 128 GB of RAM, so it's probably not a hardware incompatibility issue. It's strange that the same problem has persisted for so long and nothing has been fixed.

When I zoom a Webp image downloaded from Adobe Community from full screen to 100% size in Bridge, it appears small.I can zoom to 100% when viewing it in Windows Photos. Win11Brdge16.0.2

If I drop more than one folder onto Bridge I get this error:I've eptied/deleted caches, reset preferences, uninstalled and reinstalled and it still gives me that error. Please help.

Im using a MacMini with a M1 chip running MacOs 26.2. Every time I try to open Bridge it hangs and sometimes I need 10 attempts before Bridge open. This is quite useless and I really need some help to fix this problem. Otherwise why pay for something I can't use...

I originally reported this bug two years ago and nothing has been fixed. There seems to be a bug in Premiere 2025 (latest update) where when I import a .scc file, and have music symbols around lyrics of a concert, a lot of the closing music note symbols around lyrics are not there, causing me to have to manually replace them.  This can be extremely time consuming when you have 1000+ lines of music lyrics.  The note symbols are in the original caption and .scc files before importing into Premiere.  Very time consuming and irratating to have to replace these!  This has happened on two separate concerts I have captioned in Premiere. This has been validated by Stan Jones and several other power users. ::::::::::::::NEW BUG::::::::::::::::Also in the latest release (2025), markers will not ripple even if the option is checked in the markers options menu: "Ripple Sequence Markers" Thanks-Scott 

Bonjour,Je me rapproche de vous car j'ai un problème que je n'arrive pas à solutionner avec Adobe Bridge. Dans notre service, nous avons récemment remplacé nos vieux macs par des PC et pour des raisons de confidentialités, ces 5 PC sont sur un réseau local, sans accès à internet. Tous les logiciels Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign…) fonctionnent correctement, sauf Bridge.Le problème est simple, sur un lot de photos (quel que soit leur nature : Jpeg, DNG…) dès que l’on fait la moindre opération, par exemple définir 5 étoiles, cela met de plus en plus longtemps. Sur la première photo, c’est immédiat, sur la 2e cela prend 1s, sur le 3e cela prend 2s et ainsi de suite, le temps de rallonge pour chaque clic… jusqu’à ce que le logiciel de frise… Que les photos soient sur le réseau ou même en local sur le PC, le problème persiste.Par contre pour des tests, dès que je mets une station sur internet, le logiciel Bridge recommence à fonctionner normalement sans aucun rallentisement. C

Bridge v.16.0.1.18 can't generate preview for WebP generated from Ai Asset Export. Resave WebP from Photoshop fixes the issue. 

Hello Adobe Team, I am experiencing a persistent performance issue with Adobe Bridge (Beta). Issue Description:Adobe Bridge frequently freezes and becomes unresponsive when navigating between folders or browsing content. This happens very often during normal use, especially when switching between directories, and significantly affects my workflow. Software Information:- Application: Adobe Bridge (Beta)- Version: 16.0.1.15- Operating System: macOS Tahoe 26.2 Hardware Information:- Device: MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020)- Chip: Apple M1- Memory: 16 GB RAM Additional Notes:Restarting the application and the system did not resolve the issue. I would like to know if this is a known issue related to this version or Apple Silicon (M1), and if there are any recommended fixes or workarounds. Thank you.

Why doesn't Adobe Bridge recognize H.265??!!

Everytime Bridge updates it changes or in this morning's case deleted, all the file associations. It is really annoying and takes a bunch of frustration and time to resset them. 

I have finally updated to the "new" version of Bridge, after holding onto the old one (version 12 I think) as long as possible until it was no longer available to download. There are a lot of things that are disappointing, but one of the main ones is that you aren't able to type and quickly navigate to a file/folder within the Content window. You type a letter or two, then it takes about a half a second to actually select the appropriate file name. This is very annoying. It should move instantly, the way it used to. I'm on Windows 11, Bridge 16.0.1.18 Steps to reproduce:Open BridgeNavigate to folderType first letter of file Expected result:the intended file is immeditely selected Actual restul:the intended file is selected after a long gap

This issue has been ongoing for a couple of months. Since 2026 is my year to organize myself, I really want to get Bridge rolling! As far as I can tell, it does not sync with iCloud or any other service. I'm attaching screen grabs that may help. Please let me know if more is needed. I did reboot Bridge 3x (16.01.1.18) and my Mac is up to date, I rebooted it 2x. Fingers crossed! Thanks in advance for any help! Kathy

A new try to get an answer. Just like Adobe Lightroom Classic that has an IPTC-field so that you can see where you made your picture (location, country etc.), Adobe Bridge has the same IPTC-field but strangely enough that does NOT show the photo-location... I tried everything...Of course on my iPhone I can exactely see where I made the picture, so the metadata are there.

Dans Adobe Bridge (16.0.1.18, sous Mac OS X Tahoe 26.2), l'affichage et la disposition personnalisés des colonnes choisies dans l'affichage par liste n'est pas enregistré dans l'espace de travail.Une fois le logiciel quitté puis relancé, la disposition des colonnes par défaut de cet affichage est rétabli. L'enregistrement des modifications de l'espace de travail de la vue par liste devrait permettre de sauvegarder la personnalisation de l'affichage des colonnes choisie par l'utilisateur.

Ola, preciso instalar o adobe bridge porem, na nova versão 16.1 lançada final de dezembro/2025, é obrigatorio o requisito AVX2 no processador. Infelizmente meu equipamento não possui o AVX2 e preciso instalar uma versão anterior, porem no aplicativo CREATIVE CLOUD do PC não consta a opção "OUTRAS VERSÕES", para instalar. Segue PRINT em anexo, se alguem souber uma solução.

There is a problem with date creation time. I read that problem is 5 years old (LOL!). I have created today panorama in PtGui and saved it as a TIF file. Bridge shows that this file was created 13.12.2025. I assume, that in listing, it shows when the data was collected, because indeed I was taking picture 13.12, but file was created today! Also, there is no possible to change it (screenshot).  system MacOS Tahoe 26.2, Bridge version 16.0.1.18 

I switched my Panasonic Lumix S1II Camera to the HEIF file system, and when I rate these images in Bridge, the thumbnail disappears and the file is no longer readable in any other program.  Iam running Mac OS 26.2 and Bridge 16.0.1.18.The Lumix Camera is on the newest software update and a model from last year.  

I reverted to using Bridge 5.0.2.4 x64. I don't think the slowliness is justifiable, for me speed is the requirement number 1 in Bridge

I have been scouring the forums to and see that this was a commonly reported issue in the past (didn't see much in the last couple years), but haven't found any solutions. Is there a solution or do I need to find an alternative importer? Any suggestions if I do need something else? I have a Prograde CFExpress/SD card reader, SD cards are identified correctly in the photo downloader, but not the CFexpress card. I understand the issue is tied to the CFexpress card basically being mounted as a harddrive, but it sounds like it has been solved in some versions of Bridge. I see tips on Macs, but that doesn't help me. Saw something about using a AutoPlay settings, but that didn't seem to help either, Bridge didn't show up in options for removeable drives, only memory cards, and didn't seem like the CFexpress card was flagged as a memory card... My setup:Bridge version: 16.0.1.18Card reader: Prograde PG05.5 (CFexpress + SD)Card: Prograde 512GB CFexpress 4.0 Type B GoldOS: W

Hello, I have been having issues with Adobe Bridge. Each time I try to open the Bridge app, I have to restart my laptop in order to open the app, even if I just turned on the computer.. When I start to edit then save, a error message pops up that says, " Unable to save the raw settings. There was a error writing the file. " I have been editing on this SD card with the images just fine, but now nothing is saving! What can I do?? 

After running sucessful Batch Rename to a series of (PNG) files, editing metadata for those files consistently fails to apply those edits to the first file, where the metadata is more or less sucessfully applied to other selected files. (Sometimes, without regularity, one or two files, typically in the 20th to 24th position also fails to apply the metedata to on or two files, but this is not consistent.) Repeating the same metadata edits is sucessful the second time it's attempted to all files. This behavior seems to consistently occur after Batch Rename runs, and does not occur if metadata edits are attempted without a prior Batch Rename.

Can anyone help? Bridge crashing as I tried to rate Olympus RAW (ORF) files. I've shot Olympus since March with no such problem until yesterday. Though I rarely use Lightroom I got the same crash. This is a large folder of large photos. No problem working with processed JPEG files.Updated Bridge, reinstalled, cleared cache re-started computer, updated NVDIA graphics card.Windows 11. I just installed Photoshop and Bridge on an M4 Mac Mini connected to a calibrated wide gamut display. Images show correct colors in Photoshop but Bridge thumbnails are oversaturated. They look fine in Bridge on my Windows PC but it seems Bridge on my Mac is ignoring my monitor's color profile and displaying oversaturated thumbnails due to the monitor's wide color gamut. I even asked ChatGPT and Gemini for help. Both gave me different possible solutions, neither worked. 

Bridge doesn't generate thumbnails for certain file types ( *.HEIC, *.PNG, *.MOV etc.)Since Bridge is being used as a simple gallery and media sorting app, being able to see thumbnail previews for all supported file types is a must.Could you please prioritize this feature in a future update?
