Please fix the batch rename on Mac. Bridge freezes and leaves with file names as temps.
Bridge crashes every time I try to do a batch rename on my Mac. I have everything up to date and it's a newer machine with m3 max chip. Very frustrating. It leaves me with the temp file names..
New update is Completely Unusable. Locks up & will not respond to mouse clicks or keyboard. Does not even respond to a click on the X close button or Alt+F4. Gives no indication of a problem nor any info about it. Does not even have the good grace to crash. I've found it necessary to use task manager to close it. Sometimes blocks switching to another app. Windows 11, 32GB RAM. Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe GraphicsI would like to go back to the previous functional version but I have not found that option in Br itself nor CC Desktop. I'd like to go back to the previous version but I'm not seeing a way to do that in either the program or CC Desktop. Can't recall any Ad. app ever failing this completely.
I am currently running Bridge 15.0.2 on a Windows 11 PC. Every time I try to delete a photo through the application it locks up and does not response to anything else. I have to go to Windows Task Manager to kill the Bridge process. Occasionally, if I let it sit long enough I get an Error pop-up. However, the box is too small and does not have a scroll option to move down to the Submit / cancel button.
Why for the love of god rating system is so unpredictable and glitchy? Sometimes it just works fine, sometimes it doesn't even register, usually need to press 2 to 4 times for it to register, I'm using m3 air before this it was same on 2017 air. This is literally what the program designed for, my entire workflow is on bridge and I need to cull 2k-3k photos per shooting day, it makes my life very hard. Bridge and CR integration is the only thing why I'm paying adobe for and I can't understand it's not working properly, please fix this.
A few days ago I could double click a photoshop file in Bridge and it opens in Photoshop, now it does nothing after restarts etc. No new app installs and updates. Not sure why suddenly files refuse to open. What is the point of having bridge now?
I just tried renaming a bunch of images shot in both RAW and JPG, by setting up a batch rename in the latest version of Bridge (15.0.2.432), with a text field for the first part of the filename, and a 4 digit sequence number as part two of the new filename. The original files had identical filenames, only the file extension was different (.DNG and .JPG). But after renaming, Bridge didn't keep the pairs, and gave me:xxx_0001.DNG + xxx_0002.JPGxxx_0003.DNG + xxx_0004.JPGxxx_0005.DNG + xxx_0006.JPGPlease fix this asap!
When I browse and select my files I usually prefer FILMSTRIP mode and I've always had on the left the folders' panel to navigate into and in the main panel the file displayed enlarged and finally, in the bottom part, the panel showing thumbnails. In this set up the thumbnails in the bottom panel always schroll in orizontal direction by default. In these last days I had to switch from vertical to horizontal direction showing, but now I can't modify this feature. Until today I 've changed the showing direction by the panel view/thumbnails. How can I fix this?MacOS Sequioia 15.3Bridge 15.0.2.432MAc Book pro 13"
Trying to replace accented characters like éèêëàâä… with their ASCII plain-letter equivalent (in these examples, e and a) failed.I even tried using Unicode and Regex, but it looks impossible.
In Bridge, I wanted to use a path to a file elsewhere. I right-clicked to bring up the context menu on the Thumbnail and selected "Copy path." An error dialog appeared stating, "ReferenceError: vers is undefined34."Nothing is copied to the clipboard.
I noticed that when saving a PSB format file from Photoshop, that Bridge is not seeing the metadata. This would be a Photoshop bug as well, as when I check in Photoshop (File Info), the metadata are not there (sorry, I am referring to the IPTC metadata - camera metadata are indeed there). So, I enter the metadata in Photoshop and save the PSB file. I reopen it to check that it is there, and it is. But when I look at the file in Bridge, Bridge is not seeing the IPTC metadata.
Max OSX 15.2 MacBook Pro M4 Max.Moving a loupe over an image, when moving slowly there is NO movement at all! This is true if using a trackpad or mouse. This also affects scrolling of the content files/images. When scrolling slowly there is no scrolling, zero!To move a loupe around you need to move quickly, but then when reducing speed it'll suddenly stick again. So you either have fast movement or none, it's bad.Bridge was never like this in early versions, nor should it be now! Fundamental bug needs fixing ASAP!! PLEASE!! Adobe this is 2025 and I'm paying you.
See Update #1, 2025-01-16 below.See Update #2, 2025-01-16 below. When using the latest version of Bridge (15.0.2.432) I have noticed that sometimes Bridge has a continued (very) high CPU usage for no reason. I can replicate this 100% (system details below):1. start Bridge2. enter "maximized" mode for the Bridge app window (so that the Bridge window fills the whole screen)3. enter "Filmstrip" mode4. go to a folder with more than around 40 images (see below *) (I have tested this with both small JPEGs and with large TIFFs, see also about filters below)5. Bridge may or may not generate thumbnails and/or previews (does not matter for this bug/problem)6. wait until the CPU usage for Bridge falls to its idle level (around 0.1% in my case)7. now enter "Light Table" mode8. at first nothing happens9. cover part or the whole Bridge windows with another app (I used the Task Manager when experimenting)10. then bring the Bridge window to the front, so that the Bridge window is fully
I have a Terramaster with many 16tb disks. Most of time this cannot be opened. I see the little circle spinning but It cannot open the content of those disks. If I delete preferences I can open them but in a few days it happens again. With any other program I have no problem to open those large disks like ACDSEE or PhotoMechanic so it is an Adobe Bridge problem. It has been going for very long now with no solution
I would like to report some bugs in the "Metadata" window/panel (Windows). As far as I can tell this was introduced in the latest version of Bridge (15.0.0.397) (never seen this before now). As can be seen in the examples below, some fields gets way to large (high) or to small (only a single line). Also, sometimes there are large areas of unused pace. In the examples below I have undocked the "Metadata" window to make it a bit larger (when docked the behavior is the same, but more difficult to observe). See screening dumps below:3-Open-IPTC-(IIM-legacy).jpg4-Open-IPTC-(IIM-legacy)-again.jpg5-Open-IPTC-Core.jpg6-Open-IPTC-Core-again.jpg7-very-large-Keywords-field.jpg - Start Bridge- Enable all properties in "File Properties", "IPTC (IIM, legacy)" and "IPTC Core"- "Window -> Metadata (open the metadata window)- Select an image with metadata- All sections are visible but closed -> see "1-All-sections-visible-but-closed.jpg"- Open "File Properties"- Looks OK -> "2-Open-File-Pr
In Bridge 2025 and in 2024 as well since a recent update, Bridge is painfully slow - especially on my external drives - and takes forever to display thumbnails, load full resolution previews, and even just change folders. It frequently reports as "not responding" and uses up excessive system resources. Scrolling with the mouse wheel also slowed down considerably with the 2025 update. I'm paying to use this software and it doesn't appear that Adobe performed the proper QA/QC before releasing recent updates. Please fix ASAP.
Thumbnails no longer display after Bridge 2024 updated to Bridge 2025. Also when I try to open Bridge 2024 if displays Bridge 2024. I have deleted and reinstalled Bridge and the result was the same Thumbnails do not display.
I cannot open any large external Hard Drive . Drives of 8TB are fine but I have a few 16tb drives on an external Terramaster. They do not open in Bridge. They haven't in the past so i moved to photo Mechanic . With the new updates i tried again but the problem is not solved. Nor on the left panel where the folder structure should be under the drive nor in the content panel nothing can be seen. Large files are just impossible to popen for Bridge

Bridge - a ferramenta: Photoshop/Carregar arquivos em camadas do Photoshop não está funcionando depois da atualização do Bridge e Photoshop
Bridge automatically installs when I use Photoshop. It reinstalls after I uninstall it.I tried turning off auto updates and resetting the Creative Cloud app per the instructions on this thread. https://community.adobe.com/t5/download-install-discussions/bridge-2021-downloading-automatically/td-p/11582289I don't use Bridge and having it launch when I use Photoshop is annoying.I don't want to have manage Bridge or have it installed.
Adobe Bridge 2025 update is not displaying the metadata fields and actual data in the IPTC Core section correctly.Description field shows text, but the text box is expanded way beyond what actual text there is.IPTC Core section doesn't display all the metadata fields.
Images that have color ratings in LRc show as a white box in Bridge 15.
