I can't select the white balance, using the picker. After clicking on the White Balance picker, any move to go graph it result in it disappearing. Lightroom 9.5.0 793255/164 iPad M4 Pro 13 on 17.6.1 Reproduced with: Magic Keyboard trackpad + Pencil Pro. Only way to work: using fingers. Basically, anything recognized as mouse movement (which the new Pencil Pro does when hovering) will cancel the picker. iPad M1 Pro 12.9: reproduced as well using external mouse. Video attached. First 2 tries: Pencil. Last: trackpad. Edit: i'm almost sure I selected "bug" when posting, but it doesn't seem to have kept it. If somebody can change it to Bug, thanks.
1) Click and hold a slider thumb under photo editing, for example in the "Light" or "Color" area, without moving or sliding the mouseExpected behaviour The thumb (the round button to control values by dragging along the track) should stay in it's initial position, wherever on the thumb the user clicks. Actual behaviour The thumb automatically jumps over to the right, suddenly changing the slider value. This is unexpected behaviour, it should stay put until the mouse cursor moves, and then follow the mouse cursor position in the horizontal movements. I'm guessing that in the underlying UI, on click the thumb is being set to the mouse cursor position without taking into account the width of the thumb (half the width of the thumb should be subtracted from the mouse position in order for the thumb to be centered on the mouse cursor). But actually that would not even work perfectly, if the user clicks slightly off center it would still jump a little bit to center the thum
When trying to import photos from my SD card Lightroom CC is stuck at the phase "Checking free space on disk". The local storage is on my LAN NAS (FreeNAS) with more than enough free space. Also local hard drive is full of free space. Windows can see the correct free space on both NAS and local drive.Import of the same files from the same SD card to Lightroom 6.0 is working without any problems.Update: after several minutes the import continued but was very slow.Working with LR CC is becoming unacceptable, if those issues are not fixed in a month I'm giving up on the subscription. It's not worth it. I lose less time with moving my files via USB disk and sharing on Google Photos rather than relying on Adobe Cloud...
I have the following problem. Lightroom app on my dekstop does start up, but if I select a random photo and then click on it to enlarge it, Lightroom closes immediately. I uninstalled and redownloaded it but the problem remains. I do not have this problem in the online photo editor Lightroom. Does anyone know a solution?
Hi everybody, think this is my first post here so please bear with me. I wonder why when I double tap on a photo in Lightroom on my iPhone I get a 100% zoom in pretty good quality whereas on my iPad Pro 12" and Lightroom CC on my Macbook Pro 13" I can only zoom in to about 67%? I only have SmartPreviews in my Cloud btw.
When I import one of my preset pack ZIP files into LRM v9.4 on my iPad Pro, it seems to import correctly. However, the individual preset names are wildly long. They adopt a [Group Name] / [Preset Name] naming convention. More importantly, none of the presets support the Amount slider. This is also true when the presets sync to LRD. None of the presets support the Amount slider there as well.Oddly enough, everything works as expected when importing the same ZIP file directly into LR Desktop. The Presets display the names I prescribed when they were first saved, and each preset supports the Amount slider.Steps to Reproduce:1. Import the attached ZIP file into LRM v9.42. Tap to apply a preset.Actual Result: The preset is applied but does not support the Amount slider, which should be.Expected Result: The preset gets applied AND supports the Amount slider.Any Workarounds: Delete the group and import the ZIP file using LRD.System Info: iPad Pro M1 - Lightroom Mobile v9.4 Build: 9.4
Hey 🙂 I am stuck for a few days on "Syncing 1 item". I have tried a lot of stuff recommended here on forums, like: - catalog re-download - restarting - filter by syncing items (empty) - checking deleted folder (empty) In a diagnostic report, under in Syncing and Error Assets it says: "NeedsDevelopXmpDownloaded" for one image that is not present in the catalog. It is same for my Windows and macOS catalog. Any ideas?
Hello, I updated Lightroom after updating the operating system to the Sequoia macOS 15 beta 2 developer version. Now Lightroom 7.4.1 goes into crash as soon as you click on the "blur with lens" checkbox. Any workaround, please? I would like to understand if it is a problem with my macbook pro M3 or a bug. thank you! Salvo
I use Lightroom on an iPad Pro. When I go to my feed after posting a picture on the Discover feed and select that picture it gives me the error "your edits are still processing. It might take a minute". now this message is constant. It's happening on my iPad and iPhone. Request the team to provide a resolution.
I am experiencing something and wanted to confirm if anyone else is. On the latest release Lightroom CC 7.3 Desktop and Web, once I create and apply a preset, the amount slider briefly appears and then disappears entirely. Third party presets do not show this bug. I can only see this with my own, created after the update. Can anyone recreate this? Additonal info: It doesn't matter how simple the preset is, sometimes just a single adjust like increasing shadows, for example. tested on DNG and ACR RAW files. Error when trying to open a photo from Lightroom into Photoshop. I was on a live chat with an Adobe agent for hours today. They remoted into my laptop and tried a bunch of things. They then uninstalled my Adobe apps and reinstalled them. During the installation, the agent ended the chat. Once the apps were installed I tried to open the Lightroom photo in Photoshop and got the same error. I got into another live chat with a different Adobe agent who started to look through the transcript of my previous chat. They then said they were looking through the troubleshooting steps the previous agent had taken. After quite some time (10 or 20 minutes) they disconnected the chat. So, I got on chat again and got a new Adobe agent. They asked me the same questions that the other 2 agents asked so I asked this agent if they were able to go back through my last chats to see the issue. After another 10 or 20 minutes this agent disconnected the chat. Needless to say I am pretty unhappy
Lightroom on the iPad and iPhone crash when attempting to add an image to an album.
Hi all, I was hoping the most recent update (9.0.1) would fix, but it appears the bug still persists. If you take a raw photo in the lightroom app using the iphone pro max telephoto (5x) you can see issues with what appears to be shutter sync. It is especially apparent if you take a flash photo, as you often get a black bar or no readout all together.
Hello! I have had issues for awhile now with my app crashing. Before it seemed to be an issue with space on my device, but now, even with free space, my Lightroom Mobile crashes whenever I try to Select Subject masking. Hope to see a fix soon! 🙂 Thanks in advance, Bel Athey
Issue: Picking a custom whitebalance with the whitebalance picker tool. Then copy those settings to another image stops working the whitebalance picker tool in a lot of cases. You can then activate the tool, but the cursor remains the zoom tool. You can not pick a custom whitebalance anymore. A reboot of Lightroom is required. I keep getting the error pictured below on files imported onto my iOS version of lightroom. iOS version: 17.3.1 (current) lightroom mobile version: 9.2 (current) I've replicated the issue multiple times and been fighting it for about a month now 1. Import ARW files from camera via SD card into the lightning cable 2. Lightroom automatically converts them from ARW to DNG. 3. Edit photo 1, edit photo 2, edit photo 3 4. Press back to gallery & compare white/black points & colours across multiple photos 5. Tap back into any of the above photos to make adjustments and voila - Error T20200124 Error: T20200124 Message: Cannot be downloaded "You can only continue editing this photo buy resetting all edits" Reset button proceeds to fail - I can see it animating as though I've tapped it, but nothing happens. Photo does not reset. It seems to be occuring because I've edited the photo BEFORE it's origi
Hello! I'm thrilled to share that my photo has been featured and is currently part of the trending collection on Lightroom. I would like to express my gratitude to Lightroom and all the amazing members of the LR community. However, I have noticed some unusual changes in the number of likes on my photo. It's just random. From 4k to 112 and etc. I'm curious if anyone can shed some light on what might be causing this and why it is happening. Thank you in advance for any insights you can provide! Hello, what is the proper way of reporting an application implementation issue? I tried via chat, messenger with no luck... Is it here? Is so - there is a transaction issue in Android Lightroom app. Issue occurs in Polish language on Android device. The "order" word was translated to the "Zamówienie" instead of the "Kolejność". Zamówienie means order when buying something. Kolejność is sequence order. 🙂
The context menu on photos shows the shortcut keys for the actions performed: Enhance... Ctrl-Alt-E The context menu dropdown for "Add photo to target album (Album name)" doesn't show the shortcut key, (T in this case.) Presumably this is because the content of the menu item is dynamically generated to include the name of the album. Any chance we can get this feature finished off?
macOS Sonoma Version 14.3.1 (23D60) Lightroom-Version: 7.2 arm64 [ 20240214-0910-27200e9 ] (Feb 14 2024) I tried to import my Apple Photo Library (marked as system library) to Lightroom CC, but the photos won’t migrate - only the metadata (folders, albums,…). I know this is really, really trivial, but it irritates me! Lightroom Desktop 7.2, Windows 11 23H2 Go to the Crop panel, make an adjustment under Geometry, then right-click on the Geometry heading to reset your adjustment. The pop-up says "Reset Rotate Flip". I would expect to see "Reset Geometry". Clicking on "Reset Rotate Flip" does reset the Geometry adjustment so everything actually works OK, it's just irritating (and maybe confusing for new users). Rotate & Flip is the panel above, and it doesn't have a reset facility. Maybe it should have.
Sometimes, keywords that I know exist don't show up in keyword autocomplete. I've attached two screenshots. The first shows that a given keyword exists (I created it a week ago). Now I want to apply the same keyword to a larger set, but typeahead doesn't think it exists. These screenshots are taken a few seconds apart. Other times, attempting to autocomplete turns up nothing at all. But then later it kicks in and suddenly they're all available. Using Lightroom v7.2
Issue: Lightroom CC ignores color space when export as TIF Lightroom Version: 7.1.2 arm64 [20231210-1901-9bac95f] (Dec 10 2023) OS Version: macOS 14.2.1 Steps to reproduce: Export an image as File Type: TIF and Color Space: sRGB (see image) Expected result: Exported TIF to have Color Profile: sRGB Actual result: Exported TIF has Color Profile: Adobe RGB (see image)
Lightroom Error: Failed To Initialize Camera RAW is keeping me from launching my app. Please advise what to do. Thanks! Robert Oliver
I'm trying to use the iPad as my lightweight travel option but have found that imports fail when trying to load PhaseOne IQ160 Raw files (approx 60MB files) I can import the files to the iPad Photo Library and I can copy them from the CF card to iPad files. I've tried importing the Phase One Raws to Lightroom on the iPad from the CF card, the Photo Library and from a files folder but it always Fails to Import. Raws from my Canon and Fuji import to Lightroom on the iPad no problem. Is there a file size limitation or some other constraint preventing the import? Unfortunately the error message doesn't give any information on why the import failed. Thanks for any advice.
