Hello, When I use Photoshop through the Sidecar feature on my iPad Pro, everything works smoothly, except for one issue with the Apple Pencil. Every time I draw a line, it leaves a dot where the line starts. I have attached a screenshot of what this looks like. I've never had this issue before, even when using a drawing tablet, so does anyone know where this is coming from? Thanks

Hi, I'm experiencing a frustrating issue where Photoshop 2026 settings and shortcuts change or reset to defaults randomly while I am actively working.I want to be very clear: Completely resetting the application and the preference files DOES NOT solve the issue. The problem recurs almost immediately after a reset, even in the same session. Specific Examples of the Glitch: Alt Key Behavior: While using the Brush tool, holding the Alt key opens tool settings or UI pop-ups instead of switching to the Eyedropper for color picking. Filter Shortcut: The Ctrl + Alt + F shortcut (assigned to Last Filter) spontaneously starts opening the "Discover" panel instead of applying the previous filter.This happens mid-work without any manual changes. Since standard preference resets are useless in this case, I am looking for a permanent solution to prevent these spontaneous overrides.Photoshop Version: 2026 / 27.5Windows 11 

For years my workflow in PS was: open Tiffs with layers, edit, export in JPEG, close all, save before closing. It was perfect.Now, after I export my Tiffs, opened files are marked as saved. So I have to enter EACH file, one by one, and fake an edit, then I can save them all.EVERY. TIME.What’s the point of changing the logic fo faile saving? Is there a way to come back to the old logic?

The error is “we couldn’t open your document. Please reload the page or sign in with another account”

Photoshop 26.1 Windows 19045.3324   Step 1: Open a test image Step 2: Make a small selection with the polyganal lasso tool. Step 3: Click Generative Fill, then click Generate   Expected result: The mask for the resulting Generative Fill layer should match the original selection   Actual result: The mask for the resulting Generative Fill layer expands to be larger than the original selection in an octagon shape with feathered edges.  

Photoshop version: 26.11.0 ("up to date" according to Creative Cloud app) System: macOS Tahoe 26.0.1   Steps to reproduce: Open a new document, make some edit, close the document (CMD+W). In the dialog that opens and asks if you want to save, don't save or cancel, try to use the tab key to switch to the discard option. It doesn't work. The only way to discard unsaved changes is to use the mouse.   Expected behavior: Tab key should switch between every available option in dialogs, so you can press spacebar to choose that option.   The same behavior is seen in other dialogs, such as when trying to do something that would cancel an open action (e.g. editing a text box). Tab key just removes focus from any option and it never comes back. Only escape key (cancel) and return (choose the default option) work.

I'm experiencing an error, specifically with screenshots taken on my iPhone 16 Pro with the new "HDR" screenshots option enabled in the iOS 26 settings (General > Screen Capture > HDR)   I'll attach an example screenshot HEIC file, as you can see it causes the same error as OP. If you can't reproduce with it I can attach system info and try some other troubleshooting.   The setting:    Error box. It happens in both the Photoshop beta (27.0.0 20250921.m.3233 a60f1d2 x64 (beta, PublicBeta)) and stable (26.10.0 20250811.r.7 595d3a6 x64 (final, Release))   The error does not occur with HEIC images that were taken with the camera for me, only screenshots it seems. And only the HDR screenshots, because otherwise they're taken as PNGs.   Also importantly, Windows explorer will not show a thumbnail preview of the HEIC files that cause an error in Photoshop (but will show thumbnails of "working" HEIC files like the ones from the camera I mentioned). Sometimes, and seemingly at random, Hue Sat layers will become blank (no UI) until I restart Photoshop. Unfortunately it only happens after having the program open for quite a while and I cannot at all tell what triggers it or how to reproduce. Let me know if there’s any sort of diagnostic I can provide, though. SysInfo and screenshot of what I’m talking about attached.

In the Dutch version of Photoshop 2026 on macOS, there is a confusing translation in the Actions panel.When you open “Handelingsopties” (Action Options) for an action and assign a Function Key shortcut, you can enable two modifiers: “Shift” and “Opdracht”. The label “Opdracht” is currently used for the Command key modifier.In Dutch UI terminology, “opdracht” is normally read as “task/command (an instruction)” rather than as the name of a physical modifier key on the keyboard. Because of this, it is not obvious that “Opdracht” refers to the macOS Command (⌘) key. Traping appers much larger than the set values (pixels, milimetars, points).Example if you set 0.01mm in reality trapping is much bigger (0.05 or 0.1mm) and there is a visual diffrence between when you set your units to milimetars or pixels. Earlyer versions did not have that problem.

Photoshop 27.4.0 / macOS Sequoia 15.7.4In the “New fill or adjustment layer” context menu (pictured below), the “Solid Color…” option cannot be selected by pressing “S” on the keyboard. Instead, the menu toggles between “Selective Color…” and “Threshold”.Keyboard selection is also broken for the “Gradient…” and “Pattern…” fill layers in this menu. Along with “Solid Color…”, these three options were previously at the top of the menu.The issue of menu options being disconnected from keyboard presses occurs in other menus. For example, the “Mask All Objects” option in the layer context menu cannot be focussed using the “M” key.   

In Photoshop 27.4.0 you can't multiply dimensions with Image->Canvas Size tool. There's an error "A number between 1 and 300000 is required. Closest value insterted."Division, addition, subtraction are working as before.

When I try to scale vector shapes pixel-perfectly using the Properties panel, the shape doesn’t scale correctly (see attached screenshot).Only the blue selection outline increases in size, while the shape itself remains unchanged.Even after selecting the shape, its dimensions stay the same and it doesn’t appear to scale.Photoshop 27.4.0MacOS 15.7.4

Hi - I have had enough now. Seriously. My recent files and home screen are blank (missing recent files) every single 3 days, like clockwork FOR OVER A YEAR!  I am practically demented now trying to ofix this permanently. Renaming UXP folders to either .old or ~UXP - does not work as a permanent fix. I cannot be expected to rename these folders every 3 days. I have had an agent remotely access my PC and he just did the same thing, renamed folders. I have used the Adobe clean-up tool, uninstalling Photoshop repeatedly, downloading again etc. Nothing is worklng. I do not use the Cloud to save my work, only specific folders on my PC (windows 11) There has to be a permanent fix for this, it has been going on for over a year like this and is driving me insane.  Please help with a permanent fix. My preferences are correctly set up. I am always updated to latest version. My recent files simply disappear from  the list under "Recent Files" and on the home screen when opening PS u

When I launch Photoshop, the Splash Screen shows up. Then the app opens and the Splash Screen still shows on Mission Control as an active window. If I click it, it does nothing. After I mask out the subject of a picture, the option bar of subtracting/adding to the mask does not pop up

Changes to the Clarity and Dehaze adjustment effects are not reflected on the Photoshop canvas after saving.Steps:Create a document (artboards are not required). Put anything inside it and apply Adjustments → Clarity and Dehaze. Convert everything into a single Smart Object. Save it to Adobe Cloud. Reopen the Smart Object, make any change, save the Smart Object, and return to the original tab. You will see that the Clarity and Dehaze effect is no longer applied. It’s very easy to reproduce — just check it yourself 👉VIDEO  

Liquify “Disk Error” after Photoshop runs for some time (GPU enabled)I have been experiencing a “Disk Error” when using Liquify for more than one year. The issue usually occurs after Photoshop has been running for some time. It will automatically fill colors using the Shape Pen tool. First, set the color not to fill, draw an object on the canvas, and then click on the background layer or image layer to automatically fill the color. It is very inconvenient for those who often use shape pen tools to pick images. This issue has been present from the PS2024 version to the PS2025 V26.6 version. We have previously reported the problem, but it has not been resolved. 用形状钢笔工具，先设置不填充颜色，在画布上画一个物体，画完再点背景图层或者图片图层，他就会自动填充颜色。对于经常用形状钢笔工具抠图的来说很是不方便。这个问题，从ps2024版到ps 2025 v26.6版本，一直存在了，之前反馈过问题，但是一直没有解决。

Summary:When a Pattern Overlay layer style is configured with "Linear Light" blending mode in Photoshop 27.2 / 27.3 and the file is saved, the blending mode is not preserved when opening the file in older Photoshop versions or the current Beta version.
