After a clean Windows 11 install, all Premiere Pro 25.x versions (25.0, 25.1, 25.5 – tested extensively) exhibit a severe regression when working with 7680×7680 HEVC (H.265) MP4 files:Initial ~60 seconds: full NVDEC hardware decoding on my RTX 3080 Laptop GPU (Video Decode 50–80 % in Task Manager)After ~1 minute: silently falls back to CPU/software decoding → Video Decode drops to 0 %, CPU spikes to 100 %, rendering stalls at minutes-per-frameIssue occurs even with simple edits (only new audio added, no video effects) when exporting to ProRes 422 HQ or H.264/H.265Identical clips, identical project, identical drivers, identical hybrid GPU BIOS setting → 100 % smooth real-time playback and fast exports in Premiere Pro 24.x (24.6 tested)In 25.x the same project immediately triggers the fallback and becomes unusable System Details:Windows 11 24H2 (clean install)Intel Core i7-11800H + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU (16 GB)Latest NVIDIA Studio Driver (clean install)Intel UHD Graphic

In PP 2024.10.0 on Mac OS 15.6.1, every time I try to Set Poster Frame in either Icon View or Freeform View within a Bin, either the Poster Frame doesn't stick and it reverts back to the 1st frame of the video, or it sticks somewhere other than where I set it.
Exporting from this "Graphics" pane used to spit out ALL lines of text. Now it only spits out the first line unless its a 'paragraph'. This used to work flawlessly, I would have to clean up excess timecodes and V's but it was a great tool to use for printing GFX QC reports. What happened!?
Hi everyone,I’m having an issue with the AtomX GAL Toolkit in Premiere Pro versions 24.x and 25.x. The Film Burn effect and some transitions do not work properly and show “Media Pending.”Here is what happens:When I apply the Film Burn or certain transitions, Premiere shows “Media Pending” and the preview window freezes or stays black. If I close and reopen Premiere Pro, the issue disappears and everything works normally. So the bug only appears on the first launch, and restarting Premiere temporarily fixes it.What I’ve tried:Clearing cacheTurning GPU acceleration on/offReinstalling the pluginTrying a new project and new sequenceNone of these solutions fixed the issue permanently. The same plugin works perfectly in Premiere Pro 22.x, so it seems to be a compatibility issue with the 24 and 25 versions. My system:Windows 11GPU model RTX 4060TiPremiere Pro version 25.6Is anyone else experiencing this problem or has a solution? Any help would be appreciated.
Before this stupid update everything worked perfectly. Now every time I try to render my timeline, Premiere Pro suddenly decides to eat my entire Windows C drive for no reason — even though my media cache is literally assigned to another drive. Every update they touch something and somehow make the software even worse, then act like we are the problem. Honestly, I hope Adobe goes bankrupt one day because all they do is scam people for subscriptions and give back nothing but pain, bugs, crashes, and broken features. It’s only a matter of time before everyone fully dumps this garbage and moves to DaVinci Resolve, which actually improves instead of getting worse. And the funniest part? They even force Adobe Acrobat into my subscription like I asked for it. I don’t even use it. Just stuffing useless products into our plans to charge more. Absolute clown company.
Hi Everyone – I'm trying to work on a project and whenever I start typing with the text tool it does this, nothing shows up and it looks very glitchy/weird. (see images below). I've tried to adjust the font size, position and installed older versions of Premiere. I'm not sure what else to do or what the problem is. It's like my text is being automatically being pushed all the way to the top.

Critical bug with the "Replace Motion Graphics Templates Workflow" (originally introduced in 12.1). I work with several large teams who all run into this issue, and after much testing have qualified reliable repro steps. System: Premiere Pro 2025.6.2 Windows + Mac To easily repro, use 2 MOGRTs with identical controls but unique names. We'll call these MOGRT_A and MOGRT_B. Basic steps to reproduce the problem - BUG 01: Add MOGRT_A to timeline from Graphics Templates panel Customize the text so you can see non-default source text Select MOGRT_B in Graphics Templates panel Hold Alt/Option and drag MOGRT_B onto MOGRT_A to replace and preserve all timing and customization Drag MOGRT_B from Project panel to insert to timeline MOGRT_B imports to timeline, but appears empty in Program Monitor and contains no "Graphic Parameters". You can no longer replace MOGRT_B with any MOGRTs from Graphic Templates. This will happen every time you import the media it
When editing the video halfway, I want to import new files. So I pressed on the Ctrl + I button, the window dialogue box won't appear. I have to force stop it by going to task manager to 'end task' the program. Same goes to importing custom LUT. same goes to when i am trying to choose the folder location when exporting the sequence. Pressed the 'esc' button and do not get any response. It is as if the window dialogue box gets hidden at the background. No matter what I do, the dialogue box won't appear. Tried to press on the Win+D to perform Show/Hide desktop but this doesn't make the dialogue box to appear. I am using Windows 11 25H2 versionIntel Core i9 processorNVIDIA Quadro RTX4000 with 32GB RAMPremiere Pro version 25.6.1 up until 25.6.3
THE ISSUEWhenever I add text, a PNG or a JPEG into my timeline, it doesn't render and creates a black screen on my program monitor (whether I'm viewing the individual media or the sequence). Additionally, this creates lag in the project that did not exist before. After I insert text/images, the program monitor will also freeze altogether on either the black screen (when playhead is on this media) or on a frame from my footage. Only audio can be heard at a choppy rate. Rendering in/out will not work. When I close the project, it does so successfully, BUT Premiere is active on my dock and displayed as "Not Responding" when I check it in Force Quit Applications. Every time I re-open and close these bugged projects, I always need to Force Quit Premiere to get it to re-open again. I edit weekly, and this issue randomly began only today. I know it's not the image files, as I've used them before on previous projects. Steps to ReproduceEding & any other task is doable withou
For a while now it felt like sometimes the program monitor would be randomly zoomed in, and cutting off the top portion of the frame, for the longest time I thought maybe it was just my own fault but I've now figured out what it is that causes this to happen. It seems that once premiere saves (or another GUI window is closed like for example, the gain window) the program monitor retracts into this odd, almost zoomed out state. Then one the user enters and then exits the transition UI (or potentially maybe even other composite UI menus, but this is all I've discovered so far) the program monitor will become zoomed out, or otherwise placed at a different zoom level than it entered. So in this video I show that I enter the UI with the program monitor set to "Fit" and when I exit it retracts back to 24%. This can become rather annoying constantly micro-managing whether the program monitor is completely zoomed out when I expect it to be. This issue doesn't seem to affect fresh project f

This is one I've been working around for 10+ years:one or several off your thumbnails in icon view in a bin either go grey or the media offline orange splash, but when you mouse over them they display the media as usual. Setting a new poster frame does not help. The usual fix is to restart premiere and clear the cache on re-launch, but sometimes I can fix it by closing all the open bins bar the main project one and re-navigating the to the problem bin. It's like premiere loses track of where it is. This happens most in big projects with lots of bins, and these are also the most annoying to fix, because you have to wait for ppro to rebuild the cache. Could we not, like in bridge, have the option to clear the cache for that bin, to force premiere to rebuild the poster frame so we dont need to re-start?
When trying to render we are getting error code 1610153855
Good afternoon, When I switch between the Edit and Export work windows, everything is sharp. But as soon as I go back to Edit and then click Export again, the text is blurry. But text at Editing is still ok. It does this every time. Does anyone know why? Same at Import window and same if I change workspaces from Editing to some else and go back to Editing.. Thanks for help. Dominik
Hello, I just downloaded Premiere Pro v 25.6.3 and I can't open it. every time I try, this window pops up and when i click send report Premiere pro will just immediately shut down. I need the software urgently because I use it for my job. Can you please help me?I restarted my computer and cleaned the cache. I even tried to use older versions of premiere but nothing seems to work.
I recently began a project using footage from a Canon EOS R7. The footage is 23.976, UHD and MPEG. The codec is HEVC 10 bit 4:2:2. This one particular clip (which I am using warp stabilizer on) was working fine at first, but then when I came back to the project and tried to render it again my program monitor went green. However the clip still shows up fine in my source monitor. I tried re-importing the clip along with other basic troubleshooting. but the green only goes away when I change the in and out points of the clip (which I don't want to do). This has also called multiple crashes. I am working with Premiere Pro 25.6.3 (Build 2) on a 2019 Intel Macbook Pro. I just updated my OS as well to Tahoe 26.1. The update has not solved the issue. On these forums, I found old suggesetions to switch my Rendering to "Software Only" but I see now that is no longer an option. Please advise if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks,-Evan
I just updated to Premiere Pro 25.6.2. When I click on a drop-down-menu in the Effects Panel, it's empty. There are no entrys. I can't click anything. It's not only for Warp Stabilizer, as in this screenshot, but for all entries. I tried resetting the workspace and the preferences. It did not help. Please fix. I've generated a .prtextstyle from some formatted captions. When testing the .prtextstyle the file is setting the correct font, colors, and background settings, but it is not setting the correct font size or vertical position.
Glitch appears on the preview and the export in Premiere Pro.I used to launch Premiere Pro using Shift key to activate Mercury Playback Engine only, and the problem was solved. But since v25.4, it doesn't existe anymore. When the GPU is activated, there are some glitches on the preview, some lines with different colors. This lines appear in the export too. SYSTEM: WindowsGPU: AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT (version 25.11.1)It affects every videos and pictures formats, and every projects. Thanks for your help.Vincent.
Every time I attempt to save my files, it deletes my entire timeline. It has done this six times back-to-back. This app is horrible. I will be cancelling my subscription today!!!
Hello everyone, I have a Sony FX3 and a Zoom H6, and I always record wedding videos continuously, meaning I don’t stop the camera while filming. The main reason for this is to avoid synchronization issues. However, after I synchronize the wedding video, during the editing process, the Zoom H6 and camera audio keep differing by 1–3 milliseconds. What is the main cause of this? I think Premiere shifts the audio by up to 1 microsecond when cutting the video, and after many cuts, this phase difference accumulates to a 1–3 second discrepancy. Is this a bug? (For additional information, the audio and video are at the same level, 4800, and I have 15+ years of experience. I have many computers and have tested this in various ways. I have uploaded the video; watch it and see how the audio is drifting — it is only noticeable up close.) For any additional questions, write to me, and I will reply quickly.(My pc: Intel Core i9 9900k, Asus RTX 2080 Super, Windows 11 Pro, Premiere Pro 2025 25.6.
When I paste clip with different color labels into another project, the color labels all turn into the color of pink.I have try to tick or untick the item of "Show source clip name and label", it doesn't work neitherThe problem comes out when I update to Premiere Pro 2025.
I'm using latest builds of Prem pro and Audition (25.6.3 and 25.6) on windows 11 (build 26100)When I click on "edit clip in audition" , audition opens up and begins decoding my Wav file PCM but gives up halfway through giving me silence. This is a workflow and a recording device that I've been using for years. This problem only reared it's head for the first time last week.Files a a waveform audio from a Zoom H6. prem media file properties lists it as "Source Audio Format: 96000 Hz - 24-bit - Mono"audition only processes first few mins of PCMPC: Intel i9-10900k, 120gb ddr4,Nvidia Rtx3080, programmes on NVME, cache on ssd, footage on RAID HDDAny help would be welcome as I usually prefer to use auditions tools than prem pro for clean-up and dynamics
