Bug Reports

In the project panel, when one starts to enter characters for a search string, and as it progressively finds some assets, if one clicks on one or more of them (to show in source monitor) but then wants to extend the search by removing or adding charcters in the search bar, the cursor often prematurely jumps out of the search bar after one or two new characters are entered and focus goes into the list of found assets or another panel altogether.  This is distracting to the workflow when the extended search string has not been completed, since one has to reposition the cursor in the search bar to continue adding (or backspacing) characters, or click the "x" in that bar to delete the entire string and start over.  If others agree, then unless there's an existing workaround, I wonder if a feature/discrepancy request to halt searching in this case and don't start the extended search until enter the Enter key is pressed or a newly added magnifying glass icon in that bar is clicked

Hello, I am using Adobe Pr 25.0. When I send a mobile phone video to a sequence, the audio comes out distorted. There is no problem when I listen on the desktop app or on Face. Why is the audio distorted in Adobe Pro? I can't do editing. Thank you in advance for your support.

A customer sent me a .mkv file, and it told me that the audio should be separated when importing the file (Having voice and music separated). My computer even managed to load a 5 hour 4k High Resolution video with no problem and import it and export it with no sweat. And I already worked with a 4k video importing it directly to Premiere and it did imported the video and all the audio in different tracks (and this one was a 5 hour video).I'm facing 3 problems with this file:1) Premiere can't load the audio, I left it open throughout  the day with no other program running in the background to see if it's capable of loading and it just gets stuck on the same part (Preparing audio 50%) so I'm uncapable on listening the video.2) When I import the file, this one should have all the audio tracks separately. Yet, it's importing all in one line.3) I tried to delete the video from the project (to see if trying again would work) but when I do, Premiere stops working and it crashes. So if I w

Since upgrading to Tahoe 26.1 on my macbook pro, as soon as I drag anything to the timeline i'm hit with the spinning wheel and Premiere Pro (Not Responding) with my only option to quit. I've tried re-installing premiere pro, deleting media cache and hard restart but no luck.  Any ideas?  

Adobe keeps closing when saving , is anyone else having this bug.

When relinking files the cancel and locate buttons have swapped positions. They have been that way for years and I can't think of any logical reason to move them. Is this a bug or the most egregious example yet of changing things for the sake of it?!

After I imported some audio, Media Intelligence worked fine. However, after I switched to the Project panel, deleted those audio, and then re-imported the new audio, it didn't work at all in Media Intelligence, and no audio could be found. It only worked again when I restarted the project.

Recent issue as of the last two weeks. Import Media sends my laptop into a Restart/Reboot, not a full crash. One file or a batch of files, no matter the quantity the import media causes a restart. I export the same video on three video editing softwares (primier pro 2025,davinchi 20,capcit desktop) with the same bitrate (15000) it's so bad for me that primier give me pixelated video , but the others was perfect , Just fix the primier pro export engine , if this app gives you bad export quality (pixelation , not clean quality ) primier will lose massive numbers of editors  I'm going to tell export settingsfull hd (1920*1080p)60 FPS (game recorded by Nvidia shadow play rtx 3050 , 30000 bitrate 60 fps)hw encoding h264 (pixelated )level(high)(4.2)bitrate(15000)vbr 1 pass (as always it's pixelated)I tested vbr 2pass and CBR , both don't give me good quality (just fix it in 2026 update )it's really awful thanks for reading

There is an issue with how Premiere Pro handles scratch disk settings when working across both Productions and standalone project workflows. When a standalone project is open, and its scratch disk is set to “Same as Project,” it behaves correctly and autosaves into that project’s own folder. However, if I later open an entirely separate Production that the original project does not belong to at the same time,  Premiere automatically switches the global scratch disk setting to “Same as Production.” This immediately hijacks the autosave destination for every currently open project, including projects that are not part of that Production. All autosaves for unrelated projects get redirected into the active Production’s folder, breaking project organization and making version tracking unpredictable. Why This Is a ProblemI work on several client projects at the same time. When using the warp stabiliser effect on a clip that dissolves intoma still frame Premiere Pro will render stabilise 1 frame short causing the export to fail at this point. You can also see it as a glitch in the graphic at the end of the dissolve. Shortening the dissolve by 1 frame fixed the issue for me. Suggestion - it would be great if the warp stabiliser effect had the ability to add handles. PP 25.2.3MAC OS Sequoia 15.6.1Apple M1 Max 32GB RAM

Hello,Sur ma derniere livraison d'environs 60 fichiers. 7 ont été refusé a cause de la presence d'artefact (Digital breakup or Digital hit sur le rapport) Jamais en 8 ans nous avons eu se probleme. The artifacts are not present in the source files, and when we re-export, the MXF file is OK. The artifacts seem to appear randomly, from one machine to another and from one video to another. I tried to perform a quality check using QSCAN (qscan.io, apparently widely used in the industry), but it didn't reveal these artifacts, even though they are clearly present in the image.  Any ideas? Tuve que anular la placa desde Windows porque me  generaba error en la totalidad de la computadora. Me sucede con Premiere Pro y After Effects, no puedo utilizarlos y tengo que apagarla cada vez que quiero trabajar. Compré la computadora nueva para poder optimizar el uso en esos programas y tanto mi técnico como yo, no pudimos resolverlo.Hay muchas publicaciones que informan este error. I'm editing a project where I shot my footage in 120fps/23.97 4K on a Canon C70. When I started working on the project a few weeks back, the footage played with no issue.Since I've updated Premiere, for some reason the footage will either (1) Not play. The playhead moves as if it is, but the footage only changes from thumbnail to thumbnail of each clip or (2) play, but extremely choppy like frame to frame.The footage has been rendered in to out. I tried putting it in a nested sequence. I also made another new sequence and re-added the footage. Still the same issues. I've restarted my Premiere and my computer multiple times. Nothing seems to be working. Any help would be appreciated 🙂

Mac OS 14.7.1Premiere 25.6.2 Unable to use Project Manager to backup a project.  I get an "unknown error" pop up each time.  Tried deleting graphics, linked comps, etc.  Anything that might be hanging it up.  Sequence only contains .mp4 and .mxf files from DJI Mavic 2 Pro and Canon C70.  Tried backing up to different drives.  Tried restarting.  Same result.

I have my Source panel active, yet the Text (Transcript) panel stays active for the Sequence, not the Source file.  Therefore, I'm unable to perform a text search within the audio in the Source file (which is an mp3 file). Mac OS 14.7.1Premiere 25.5.0

Wondering if anyone could suggest anything I can do to get my Premiere Pro working again. I was successfully using Premiere Pro 2024 until Friday. On Friday I used PP 2025 on another machine and subsequently installed Premiere Pro 2025 on this machine. I could successfully edit a video for about 10-60 seconds. Then the video, nor any of the imported media would play back - no video or audio will play. The footage remains frozen on whatever I was editing. If I leave it and some back to it, I don't get playback. I have to fully quit the app and reload to be able to edit for another little burst of time. I think I've watched every YouTube video with suggestions of what to try to fix this - I've emptied the cache, looked at audio settings etc. Reset all preferences. I've also downloaded the 2024 version again, but I'm getting the same problem with 2024 now too. I'm on Mac and not running the most recent Operating System, but that was the case too before Friday when I was suc

Hi there,Apologies if this is a repeat post but I have a couple of conditions and really struggle with information sometimes. I have gone back into a program file I did in 2024 as I wanted to make some changes.  Unfortunately, the Lumetri Presets that I used have stopped working and turned everything grey! I don't know if an update knocked everything out?   Can anyone help?  I was using "Canon C500 Clean Punch NDR", I made some changes to my liking and then - it's just stopped working.  I'm trying to avoid having to spend time doing colour grading again!  Can anyone help?  (Please explain as if you're speaking to an old granpa cos honestly, that's not far from the truth...)

I'm trying to export a film in 4k proress422 that has a 3840 x 2304 aspect ratio, 5:3 resolution. Adobe randomly displayed the film in the timeline as 16:9, but is still listed as 3840x2304. The black bars on the sides are missing and if I scale down the clips they just become smaller 16:9 clips. If I change the aspect ratio to 16:9 then the picture becomes slightly bigger and cuts off the areas around the border of the clips. When I export it, the film is in the 16:9 ratio even though the settings are still listed as 3840x2304. QuickTime also changed all my previous 5:3 sample videos into this 16:9 look, but has 3840x2304 as its aspect ratio in its settings. I don't know what the hell is going on where it even changed the aspect ratios look with clips and videos I exported a long time ago when this glitch randomly happened yesterday. I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this problem.

Hello Community! After 5 months of fighting with Premiere Pro I finally discovered what caused error code -1609629695. I believe that many people have been affected with it. I have a lot of people texting me about this problem cause I have made 3 posts about it in the past.SIMPLE ANSWER - DISABLE CREATIVE TAB INSIDE LUMETRI COLORI finally found the root of the problem and what is causing it. It's the CREATIVE pannel in Lumetri Color. Disabling it makes the error go away.  Issue – While exporting a video on versions 25.2, 25.3, 25.4, 25.5, 25.6 in random timestamps we get a GPU error code -1609629695Steps to reproduce:1.
