12/10/24. I updated Premiere Pro to 25.1 today. 1920x1080 Video no longer fills a 1920x1080 aspect ratio timeline on top and bottom. It has been squashed vertically by 1%.  The image is squashed by 4 pixels at the top and 4 more at the bottom. The sides are fine.Increasing the vertical scale by 1% fixes the issue. This is video in a project that looked fine yesterday before the update. Please fix this immediately. Whenever I use footage from a go pro, Iphone, etc. upon export I get an error stating that I need to buy the full version of creative cloud to access the HEVC Codec. I have the full version, this error has been going on for a year now and every fix I try never works. Does anyone have a permanent fix to this?

Hi all, Multiple editors at my company are experience the same issue with MOGRTs in Premiere 2025. An editor will place the MOGRTs in their sequence like normal, adjust text in the Properties panel, and save the project to our server. The MOGRTs would appear and play back fine. Upon opening the Premiere project again, these same MOGRTs would NOT appear in the preview monitor. The MOGRT files are in the Premiere project, the MOGRTs still appear on the sequence, you can see the text data in the Properties panel, but the MOGRTs simply DO NOT play in your preview monitor and will not appear on the export. When you matchcut on the actual MOGRT clip, the template WILL appear in your preview monitor. These MOGRTs don't even play back in the autosaved premiere projects created when the MOGRTs played back fine. The most confusing part: this is happening to SOME MOGRTs on the sequence and not others, seemingly completely randomly.  Here are the Premiere builds and OS specs fo

This just changed in the most recent update to Premiere 24.6.1 (Build 1).  Normally, if the timeline is the active window, and then you click on the "Export" tab in the upper left next to "Import" and "Edit", it knows you want to export the active timeline.  Right now, it selects whatever clip or sequence you have selected in the Project bin.  So clearly, this is not intuitive and should be reverted back to the way it used to be.  Running MBP 2021 M1 Max, OS Sonoma 14.5

Hi, everyone. I was editing these days in Premiere and I added Ultra Key to take out the green background. And... i got it! But some days passed and I opened the project again and my green screens to returns and I couldn't add ultra key effect! I'm trying but looks bugged/crashed. I need to take out my green screen and I can't, I just need to do it for renderizing my video. What is it happening?! Someone Can help me?

Ram 32gb NVIDIA 4070 2tb  Hola buenas Estoy teniedo un problema con la reproduccion de videos en Premiere pro (mismo problema en after effecst). En la linea de tiempo viendo el material sin renderizar y renderizado no reproduce fluido, (50fps o 60fps, me refiero a fluido), pero cuando ultilizo la opcion de full screen si lo hace.  Lo que me llama la atencion es que lo hice con distintos videos de distintas camara y sucede siempre lo mismo.  Ya probe en meterme en las configuraciones de secuencia e instalar drivers y nada. Adjunto ejemplos y use una camara panasonic P2 HVX200 Y panasonic gh5s ambas en pal.  Saludos.

I have a macbook pro m4 and this project is just crashing all the time, 100% of the time.I have a 15s clip of 4k footage, color graded in PrPro. I need some animation on it so I replace this with AE comp. It worked fine for a couple of days but suddenly every time I make the smallest adjustment to the AE file and save it, PrPro just freezes, doesn't preview anymore, stuck on the same screen and AE just crashes unable to open it. When I quit both and re open everything works 'fine' until I make a new adjustment (which is all the time). Tried it with a fresh AE comp, with no 4k footage, just a small animation and it does the same. Since this project imporant and has to be finished fast I figured taking a backup laptop (also macbook m4, brand new) and just working on that for a week but it is the same problem on that laptop. I have just joined Premiere pro and already having issues with exporting my Project (video file).  Its keeps on crashing which i have seen is a common thing with Pro. I have tried all possibilities, even match video sours, but it takes an hour to export my video file and crashes fairly quick during the export. I have sent multiple reports. I have enough space on the harddrive - 430 GB. I use a Dell which has a AMD Radeon 780M Graphices. I'm not sure whats causing the issues, but i really need advice/ help. The format is default - H264 but not sure what i should change it to. I read to use software encoding rather than Hardware but still crashes.

In the essential sound panel, "Generate Keyframes" for Ducking will not create keyframes if the Audio Track the target clip is on is Soloed.Reproduce: 1) Have dialogue (or any other audio) on a seperate track than music. Media Encoder always hangs at the end of the export of an MP4. If it's a short 2-3 min video, it only hangs for a few minutes. If it's a 1-hour video, it hangs for a very long time. I tried the "pause" maneuver, but it's not working. I tried the pause trick again after waiting 20 minutes but ME crashed. It is infuriating to sit through a 42-minute render for this to happen. Adobe has never fixed this issue that has been reoccuring for years.

In some projects I can not cancel my actions. 

In my project, we'll say that I have a video with sound, but if I add any audio/video media, the whole software bugs, making it almost unusable. To solve this, I need to delete this new media, but that's not a good solution, so here I am stuck.If I could, I would have shared a video to show the problem.

Space Bar does not work to play or pause video in Adobe Premiere Pro Playback works if physically clicking the play button. Space bar does nothing. There are no shortcuts visible in the keyboard shortcuts window. I've tried:- Resetting cache- Disabling full keyboard access in Accessibility > Keyboard- Reinstalling the full app (5 times, and waited 3 months between installs once) Running:- Mac OS 15.5 (24F74)- Premiere Pro 25.3.0 Being connected with support has not yielded anything yet, unfortunately.Any advice? Much appreciated.

After recent update when changing captions, the first keyboard press triggers as a keyboard shortcut. Only when double-clicking the caption on the playback window again, that's when you can change the captions. First attempt always triggers a keyboard shortcut response instead of the letter you want to press.

I have a clip lasting 1 min 55 sec. I am asking myself, why it's not possible to get the transcription and caption feature to run stable. From the first day of introduction it crashed due to very poor buggy steps in the editor. EXAMPLEToday, it's the re-transcribe sequence feature. If I start it crashes every 2nd time/sequence untill I found out, that I have to change the language to any language and back to the language that is used and then crashing stops. Workarounds like this, I've been using for years, but you only get it by conincidence, as it's beyound logic, it's a bug.  E.g. Dynamic Link has taken 4-5 years to get reliable...is this the concept? The basic software is awesome. I am a power user for 20 years, now., But, every 3rd Update is more an adventure, introducing strange beahviour. Please, don't advice me to reinstall, please programm the things correct. Is this possible? I don't want to be forced to switch to another application. best, Sebastian

I'm working on Premiere Pro 24.4.1 on a Mac.  I created shortcuts (or at least I tried) to be able to zoom in on the Program Monitor.  Control+Z to zoom in, Control+X to zoom out, and Control+F to fit.   They are listed.  They are visable.  Control+F works, but the zoom and and zoom out do not.   Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?   Thanks!   Mod note: Title was changed slightly    

My premiere is flashing and with these colors, this happened after I updated to the new version, I have already tried to go back to the old one, but this situation continues. Anyone with a similar problem? 

Hi, I have an issue in Premiere Pro 25.1. The Pixel Aspect Ratio of a Lumix 100FPS MOV 10-bit 4:2:2 file is different from Premiere Pro version 25.0. I can fix it by manually inputting the ratio through Project Panel, Right-click the file, Modify, Interpret Footage. However, it sometimes still leaves a small space on the left and right sides of the screen. This error also prevents Warp Stabilizer from being used.Hopefully, this issue can be resolved in the next Premiere update.

When using both a LUT (under the creative tab) and adjusting color wheels in lumentri, the footage immediately becomes very washed out.I shot in log and corrected it on the video layer.

I can't insert selected text from my transcript directly into the timeline. I have a timeline with my interview loaded in the source. While following the script, I can't directly select text and insert into the timeline. I must first click on the source program monitor, then insert. Everytime I do this, a glitch happens and my transcription disappears, then comes back up after about 10-15 seconds.  This is really slowing down my workflow. 

Upgraded to MacOS26 Beta 2 and Premiere Pro 24/25 beta crash on load. Didn't crash on Beta 1.
