I recently upgraded from Premiere Pro 2020 to 2025. I deal a LOT with closed captioning AND time compressing. After trying to compress a sequence with a caption track (in 2025), the captioning is NOT adjusting the same as the video/audio. This worked flawlessly in my Premiere Pro 2020 during the export. I know that 2025 now has a totally separate C track for closed captioning (as opposed to captioning in 2020 simply used a video track). Is there something else that needs to be done with Premiere Pro in order to get the CC track to compress properly with the rest of the sequence's video/audio?
Greetings, I've noticed this for years and still it still hasn't been fixed, that when you work on longer projects with lets say up to a hundred imported pieces of footage, even recorded on the same device, cut those to size and play with the audio Premiere gets weirder and kind of sentient with the audio levels. For example after only pre cutting up to 90 minutes of footage I imported a new part, played it back = everything is fine. After moving it in the middle of everything, still on the same layer and no effects applied, when I play the audio is suddenly MUCH louder so I have to decrease it -12 DB to get it back to origin level. This can not be normal but besides that I don't know what other data I can provide to you as this bug is really hard to describe other than that. On another instance after increasing the volume of single parts for lets say +6 db for the same amount ot footage clips, Premiere auto-quiets future clips more and more the. Like new files are
The Gaussian blur mask tracking feature was working before the last update, now it's not tracking forward. The racking window open and the timeline is stuck.
Premiere 25.1 is buggy, unfortunately. In PROPERTIES panel, when i add custom Graphics template with two text fields, I can't jump from first to second by pushing TAB button on my keyboard. It jumps to Position. Also in Premiere 25.0, when i clicked on text field, it selected the whole text, and this was very comfortable. Now it doesnt select, so i need to do one more actions - push CMD+A. And then use mouse to click on the second text field instead of pushing TAB. It's annoying. Had to move back to 25.0.
My mac - M3 pro, 18GB, Sequoia 15.5 Until the 25.1 version just before the update, there was no problem with the alignment function itself However, after updating to version 25.2, the alignment function is not working properly, so the essential graphics are not in the location they originally knew, which is causing a delay in working time I don't think it's going to be easy to know because it's in Korean. English for example It should be aligned like 'a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h'"d,a,h,c,b,g,f,a". It's like this I'll post the abnormal alignment to 2025, and the normal alignment to 2024 in the attachment Can you fix this quickly? Title: Essential Graphics changed to Graphics Templates by mod
Premiere 25.2.1 (build 2)Mac Studio: 32GB, Sequoia 15.3.13 monitors I frequently use graphic objects (white boxes) to mask portions of he presenters slides. [Graphics>New Layer>Rectangle]Before this most recent update I could select the object on program screen, immediately see its handles, then use command C and command V to quickly duplicate it directly on top of itself. I could then modify the mask position, color, etc.In this last update, that capacity seems to have disappeared. This now means if I want a second or third or fourth white box, I have toselect item in timeline,go into the effects control panel for the objectlocate and then copypaste the objectThen I return to my program monitor screen to select the outer limits of the box and move those to fit. This takes about three times as long. I see I can also right-click and duplicate. Still longer than my old method. If I do hundreds of these each day, it still adds up as too slow. Can you please restore cop
In the keyboard shortcuts menu, the "Export SRT" function from the Text panel is missing. Please fix this issue.Thanks.
My computer is basically overheating and taxed just by having this program open. I have 96GB memory. Apple M2 Max chip. The last version of Premiere worked fine. Now it is a resource HOG. What's going on guys?
The mouse wheel zoom glitches out and just jumps to super zoomed in on the timeline. Please look into this. It happens across a number of computers, so it is not an issue caused by my set-up. Thank you.
Win + Alt + R recording of what I do on Premiere Pro - does not work.(non-shortcut "standard" recording also doesn't work either)Version 25.2.3 (Build 4)xbox app has been "repaired" and "reset" - no use. There were "Game bar" related issues, but I was unable to find the identical problem. How am I supposed to post a bug report if I can't even show it?Respectfully,GJ
premiere is once again corrupting my AE renders by putting some weird outline around it. I've written to the forums before about this issue but cant remember if i put it in the after effects forum or premiere forum but I render it out of After Effects and it looks fine and then a few minutes later i scrub back to it on my timeline and theres this crazy outline around it but if you bring the render into AE you dont see that crazy outline. Adobe has acknowledged this issue in the past and told me not to use a blue background but im not using any background. the glitch was on two separates files. both with alpha channels in them. One was a rotobrushed shot of a person.in the past: if you re export the file from scratch from AE, you couldnt see the nasty outline any more until you hit quit on premiere and re open premiere and that nasty outline is back and then you'd have to re render in AE all over again to get it to go away again https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-bugs/prem
Render and replace is not importing and connecting the render to the dynamicly linked comp in the timeline in Adobe for Teams. When I render and replace, it should render and then change the the dynamic comp name in the timeline to say "rendered" and the end and make the option to render and replace in the right click menu on that clip unavailable, and make the "Restore Unrendered" option available. The rendered clip should also be imported into the project. Instead what happens is the clip transcodes and is created in the folder I have designated, but then it is not imported, and the dynamicly linked comp remains an unrendered, live dynamic link.I have tried different Pro Res codecs, different destination folders, and this has happned in multiple projects recently with comps that contain solids, or shapes, and text.Premiere Pro 25.2.3 (Build 4) Model Name: iMac Pro Model Identifier: iMacPro1,1 Processor Name: 18-Core Intel Xeon W Processor Speed: 2.3 GHz&nb
If anyone is able to wave a magic wand and help me fix this issue then I would be so very grateful! I am using Premier pro 25.1 on a windows PC, I opened up my project the other day to start work and I was unable to freely click on a clip and drag the clip about on the timeline with the same thing happening with audio. When I do click on a clip to move or drag it I am presented with the picture I have attached, in my program window. I have tried everything on nearly every forum page I can find, reset all settings from splash, cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled softwear, new project, everything I can think of but I can't find anything anyway with someone with this same fault. Thank you if anyone can save me!(mod edit title)
Hi all, I'm a very amateur video editor but I edit podcasts part-time. I've recently been having really weird graphical glitches when I export my files and I have no idea why or what to do. I've been searching the web for answers and figured I'd ask here. For context, I use the latest version of Premiere Pro and I'm on Windows 11. I export using the default settings so I think it's H.264 and Match Source High Bit Rate. If I need to provide any system specs please ask and I will find it. I've exported twice already and both times I've had this glitch, but in different places. It happens briefly, but it's still very noticeable so any help would be much appreciated, thank you.(mod edit title for tracking)
Nested Layers, no transparency where there is not footage in connected nested layer anymore.
Porque os arquivos que importei pro premiere somem do projeto depois de um tempo so porque ainda não coloquei na timeline?Obs.: Somem sem motivo algum, mesmo enquanto estou com o premiere aberto e trabalhando.
After I upgraded to 24.4 several days ago, I can no longer edit MXF video files. The video in the timeline is glitchy, with pixelated blocks displayed whenever something moves in the scene. The glitches are exported in the final render, so it’s not a temporary or display-only issue. (If I render the MXF to MP4 with HandBreak, there are no glitches in the output, so I think the MXF container is OK.) My camera is unchanged and I’ve used this workflow hundreds of times. I went back to an editing session from before the 24.5 upgrade and all is fine–no glitches. I cleared the cache, rebooted my Mac, checked the sequence settings, but nothing helps.
Could everyone please let me know if, after updating to version 25.2, it’s possible to modify the render settings? It’s not just limited to Premiere Pro or Media Encoder—on my end, all of them appear grayed out. However, After Effects still allows its settings to be configured.
I'm still running into issues with source LUTs in my R3D footage. The LUTs work while editing in Premiere, but when I export the project, the LUT isn't included in the export and all the footage is exported raw/flat. I'm exporting with the Media Encoder application.
UPDATE - This thread was originally posted in the discussions section and then merged with a newer bug report post on the 14th of February 2025. OVERVIEW (14th Feb '25)I’m having an issue with very inconsistent export times, particularly when the Mercury Playback Engine is set to CUDA. What's interesting is that when the Mercury Playback Engine is set to Software Only, my test timeline takes around 3:45-4:30 minutes to export. However, when CUDA is selected, the export can take up to 19 minutes. That said, it can also take 7 minutes (typically right after I restart Premiere). MORE INFO/ TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS IN THREAD BELOW.... Original post (25th Nov '24)I’m hoping someone can clear up a bit of confusion I’ve been having around using CUDA vs Software Encoding in Premiere Pro/Media Encoder.Everything I’ve read says that if you’re on Windows and have an Nvidia GPU, you should always select CUDA under the Render Engine for better performan
I'm expereincing a new issue where both my program panel and source panel are being displayed via mercury transmit on my reference monitor. Previously only the program panel was displayed on my second monitor via mercury transmit which meant that only the main edit would be displayed while I was free to view clips in source panel, make in and out points and drag clips ontot the timeline without that source panel slecetion replacing the main timeline preview on my second screen. Any idea how to stop the source panel also being trasmitted to the reference monitor?
Hey, Sometimes when I'm using the Warp Stabilizer effect on Premiere Pro, the last frame of the used video becomes black for some reason. It happens randomly, and I've never found a proper solution expect deleting the last frame which is super inconvienet to do sometimes. I've tried to nest the specific video and applying the effect to the nested video, sometimes it helps, but in general it just turns everything to be much messier and deorganized that way. I hope Adobe sees this and fix this bug in the future updates. Thanks, Nadav
Premiere (v24 and v25) fails to start and shows this error: Initialization Failure sfntread library errorI've done all the opening options 1) reset app preferences 2) clear media cache files 3) reset plugin loading cache 4) disable 3rd party plugins; after reading another thread, I've deleted all the fonts in font book; I've done a clean install of Creative Cloud and Premiere, but still no luck.I'm at a loss, is reformatting my comptuer the only option?Premiere v 24.6.4 MacBook Air M2, 16gb ramMacOS 15.3.1
