IssueI noticed for some time now that compared to normal sequences, the audio toggles in source sequences won’t work or in a buggy way. Same with the audio meter and the mixing console. It’s especially problematic when working with source sequences often (pancake editing)Steps to reproduceOpen a source sequence (in timeline). Use the audio toggles (mute/solo) during playback and when paused.Expected vs actual resultThe video compares this expected behavior in a normal sequence and the actual behavior in the source sequence. This are the results. Expected behavior would be that both work the same (as they share the same UI): Normal Sequence Source Sequence Mute Toggle works during playback and after pause Toggle does not work during playback (only after pausing it) Solo Toggle works during playback and after pause Toggle does not work at all Audio Meter Works as expected Shows no level at all (interestingly, when the source monitor is selected, then the audio le
Situation is following:I have a sequence open and another one in the source monitor as source sequence. The nesting of sequences is toggled off and normal insert inserts the selected video/audio tracks instead of the nest.I want to replace a clip with part of the source sequence:I highlight the clip I want to replace in the sequence I set in/out in the source sequence I hit the key combination for "Replace with Clip.. from source monitor (Match frame)"What I expect to happen:the clip gets replaced with the patched video trackWhat happens:the clip gets replaced as nest (with all video tracks) it seems like the button for nested sequence import isn’t working with that command.
Issue Premiere Pro completely freezes and hangs ("Not Responding") whenever any panel (Timeline, Project, Effect Controls, etc.) is clicked. This issue occurs on all versions higher than 26.0.1. Steps to Reproduce Install any Premiere Pro version newer than v26.0.1. Open Premiere Pro and open or create any project. Click on any interface panel or workspace tab. Expected Result The panel should focus immediately, and the interface should remain responsive and operational. Actual Result The application immediately freezes, displays the Windows "Program Not Responding" dialog, and hangs. If the window is left alone and repeatedly clicked after a while, it temporarily recovers responsiveness, but clicking on a different panel triggers the exact same freezing loop. Premiere Version All versions superior to v26.0.1 (Currently forced to downgrade to 26.0.1 to maintain stability). Operating System Windows 11 (Fully updated, clean OS reinstall performed). GPU Driver (Windows only) NVIDIA Studio
The transcription function does not recognize any dialogue. I have clips with an isolated voice as an mp4 and as an audio mp3 file. Premiere cannot find any dialogue in either file formats. Premiere was working fine with the last project but can no longer transcribe.
Adobe Version: 26.30 build 93 Product: Adobe Premiere ProIssue Summary:When using a proxy workflow, Premiere Pro no longer automatically relinks the original full-resolution media after a project has been edited on another system and returned to the original editor.Steps to Reproduce:Import full-resolution media into a Premiere Pro project. Create and attach proxy files. Save the project and send it (along with the proxies) to another editor. The second editor opens the project, edits using the proxies, saves the project, and sends it back. Open the returned project on the original system where the full-resolution media still exists in its original location.Expected Result:Premiere Pro should automatically reconnect the original full-resolution media since the project is being opened on the original machine where the source media is still available. The proxies should remain attached, and no manual relinking should be required.Actual Result:The full-resolution media is reported as offl
Since upgrading to 2025.3, long format recordings (1 hour plus) take a really long time to import. It'll sit on the 'importing' diaglog for 5-10 mintues per file. And it still has to do the indexing processing after.Rolled back to 25.2.3 and the files import quickly again. Also tried beta 25.6 and the issue still exists. Occuring with many different types of source foorage of compessed formats (pro-res imports quickly, seems to be an issue with more compressed codecs). Mac studio M2 Max 2023OSX 15.5PP 25.3.3Files on internal storageIdentical issue on another similarily equipped system.
The “Delete All Pauses” feature in Adobe Premiere Pro is straight up broken for me now.It used to work perfectly before, but now it doesn't after the update.I set the pause length to 0.01sec but when I press Delete / Extract / Delete All, it removes some parts but leaves a lot of gaps behindI’m doing the exact same thing I used to do before, but now it’s not WORKING!!!!Feels like something changed after the update because this was not an issue at all before. Is anyone else having this problem ? Can you please help me resolve it?
Hi Adobe team,I’m reporting what appears to be a regression in Text-Based Editing, specifically in how Premiere Pro detects short pauses in the Transcript panel. The version that works correctly for me is:Premiere Pro 26.0.2, build 2The version where I am facing the issue is:Premiere Pro 26.3In Premiere Pro 26.0.2 build 2, I could use the Pauses filter in the Transcript panel and adjust the Set pause length / Minimum pause length setting to detect very short pauses in spoken dialogue. This was extremely useful for dialogue-heavy editing, because Premiere would correctly identify even small pauses, including pauses around 0.1–0.11 seconds. However, in Premiere Pro 26.3, the same workflow no longer behaves correctly. The pause-length slider still allows the minimum pause length to be set very low, but Premiere now appears to ignore many short pauses that were previously detected in version 26.0.2.For example, on the exact same video clip: Premiere Pro 26.0.2 build 2: approximately 200 paus
IssueMercury Transmit fails to initialize at project startup unless the Lumetri Color panel exists in the startup workspace. Key finding (reproducible):Mercury Transmit fails to initialize at startup only if the startup workspace does not contain the Lumetri Color panel. The Lumetri Color panel does not need to be visible or active. Its mere presence as a background tab is sufficient to initialize Mercury Transmit correctly.Once Mercury Transmit has initialized, the user can switch to any other workspace and the external output continues working normally. The behaviour is reproducible with different projects, including newly created empty projects.EnvironmentPremiere Pro 26.3.0 Windows NVIDIA GTX 1070 Mobile NVIDIA Studio Driver 581.57 Clevo P775TM1 Secondary HDMI monitor (Extended Desktop) Mercury Transmit enabled Adobe Monitor 2 selected for external playbackIssueMercury Transmit does not start automatically when opening a project if the startup workspace does not contain the Lumetri Co
When using the Warp Stabilizer Effect, the last frame of the video is turning black - I reported of this issue a year ago - nothing has changed, why is Adobe not doing anything about Bug Reports?
Hello Adobe Team,I am facing an issue in Adobe Premiere Pro.I work with multiple sequences in a single project. I keep many sequence tabs open in the Timeline panel. However, after saving the project, closing Premiere Pro, and reopening the project, the Timeline does not restore all the previously opened sequence tabs. Sometimes only a few tabs are restored, and their order also changes. The sequences are still available in the Project panel, but I have to open them one by one again, which is very time-consuming.I would like Premiere Pro to remember and restore all open Timeline sequence tabs exactly as they were before the project was closed. This behavior started after updating Premiere Pro. Previously, all my open sequence tabs were restored correctly. Please investigate this issue. Thank you.
SINCE YESTERDAY UPDATE PREMIERE KEEPS CRASHING EVERY COUPLE OF MINUTES> ITS DOING MY HEAD IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a problem I've seen for a couple of Adobe Premiere Pro versions now and lately on Premiere Pro V 26.0.2. How to replicate:1 - Duplicate your video track by ALT+drag and place the new track above the old one (so same video in V1 and V2). 2 - Create a Freeze frame on the top layer.3 - Bug: the top layer won't freeze. But if you hide the layer below (V1) or move the layer below to later in the time line the V2 layer will freeze and work as expected. Workaround is to use freeze frame segment instead or simply move the layer below to layer in the time line. But quite annoying bug that's been around for a while. I'm on a PC and I've been able to replicate this on multiple computers.
I’m currently running PR 26.0.2, this bug seems to be in all later versions as I’ve tried 26.2, 262.2.2, 26.3.I’m running this on a Mac Studio M2 Mac 64 GB, Tahoe 26.5.2.I have 2 words that break the captions they’re in, the words are ព្រលានយន្តហោះ and ថេប្លេតWhen they’re present in the caption, all other words disappear, if i try an upgrade caption to graphic that doesn’t solve the problem. The full sentences I’m using are these:បន្ទាប់មក ពិនិត្យមើលការកំណត់ទីតាំងរបស់អ្នកនៅលើឧបករណ៍ទាំងឡាយដែលភ្ជាប់អ៊ីនធឺណិតរបស់អ្នក ដូចជាទូរសព្ទ ថេប្លេត កុងសូលហ្គេម ឬកុំព្យូទ័រយួរដៃរបស់អ្នក។Wi Fi សាធារណៈ គឺជាអ៊ីនធឺណិតដែលអាចចូលប្រើបានដោយមិនគិតថ្លៃ ជាញឹកញាប់មាននៅតាមកន្លែងនានាដូចជាមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលផ្សារទំនើប ព្រលានយន្តហោះ សណ្ឋាគារ និងហាងកាហ្វេ។This issue isn’t present in PR 26.0.2, I also tried the same text in AE with the same font and there’s not issue in the most current version of AE. The fonts I’ve tried at Kantumruy Pro and Noto Sans Khmer.
I discovered a reproducible issue involving nested text clips and playback positioning. As this looked similar to another bug that was triggered at lower preview resolutions. But this one can be produced without any extra footage or image. It can be produced using premiere only elements.Steps to Reproduce:Create main sequence (3840x2160 for example)Create a text layerUnder the Motion effect (not Vector Motion or the text's internal Anchor Point controls), modify the Anchor Point values.Nest the text clip into a new sequence.Open the nest and change it’s resolution to anything lower than the main sequence’s resolution. (1920x1080 for example)Go back to main sequenceSet the Program Monitor playback resolution to 1/2, 1/4, or 1/8.Expected Result:The text should remain in the same position regardless of playback resolution.Actual Result:The text appears offset during playback at reduced preview resolutions. The issue occurs only when the nested sequence has a lower resolution than the main
As per title, whenever I launch Premiere the 2nd monitor is never active for playback and needs me to go back into the settings menu (where it’s already checked) and reenable it to force the monitor to work… this is on 26.3.0 / Tahoe 26.5
Premiere Pro Version:26.2.2 (Build 3)Operating System:Windows 11Description:I have been experiencing this issue for several years across multiple Premiere Pro versions.I use a custom workspace with three monitors. The workspace is saved correctly and almost everything is restored exactly as expected. However, whenever I create a new project, the Project panel and the Effects panel are automatically grouped together into a single tab group, even though I saved them as separate panels. All other panels, positions, sizes and monitor assignments are restored correctly.Steps to reproduce:Create a custom workspace. Separate the Project panel and the Effects panel into different panel groups. Save the workspace. Close Premiere Pro. Launch Premiere Pro. Create a brand new project.Expected result:The workspace should be restored exactly as it was saved, with the Project and Effects panels remaining separated.Actual result:Only these two panels are merged into a single tab group. All other workspa
Adobe Premiere Pro becomes unresponsive/crashes shortly after stopping a voice-over recording on a timeline that contains video clips, only when Blackmagic video output (Mercury Transmit) is enabled to an external monitor. The issue does not occur when:Recording voice-over on an empty/black timeline (no video clips), or Blackmagic video playback is disabled while Blackmagic audio monitoring stays enabled, or Blackmagic Playback is fully disabled in Premiere's Preferences. This is reproducible and was isolated through controlled testing across Premiere Pro versions and Blackmagic driver versions.EnvironmentComputer: Mac Studio (Mac14,13) OS: macOS 15.1.1 (Build 24B91) External I/O device: Blackmagic UltraStudio Monitor 3G (connected via Thunderbolt) Blackmagic Desktop Video driver: tested on 12.4.1 and on the latest available version at time of testing — issue persists on both Premiere Pro versions tested: 25.0 — works correctly 25.6.2 — works correctly 25.6.3 through 25.6.x — issue oc
I started a new project in PP 2026 and when i put clips in the timeline there is no waveform showing.I tried all the suggestions from the internet and nothing happens. So I then started a new project in PP 2025 and the same thing is happening. It worked just fine last month but now its not.
I would like to report a reproducible issue that causes externally recorded WAV audio to lose synchronization after a Premiere Pro project is saved, closed, and reopened.Environment: Adobe Premiere Pro 26.2.0, Build 65 macOS Editing and delivery sequence at 25 fps Camera footage recorded primarily at 50 fps External multichannel WAV recordings at 48 kHz Sync map generated in Tentacle Sync Studio and imported through Final Cut Pro XML Problem description:The imported synchronization sequence used a 50 fps timeline, while the external WAV master clips contained 25 fps timecode metadata.Immediately after importing the XML, the camera and recorder audio were correctly synchronized. Cutting and editing the synchronized material also worked correctly during the active Premiere session. After saving the project, closing Premiere Pro, and reopening it, the cut WAV clips referenced incorrect positions inside their source files. Their timeline positions and visible edit points remained
when trying generative expand I get the following error: - Error 1200: Internal Error Line:13 --> var g_StackScriptFolder Path = app.path + "/" + localise ("$.$/ScriptingSupport/InstalledScripts=Presets/Scripts")
Premiere 2026 is freezing each time I make changes: an effect, the size, add text - everything! The Play button is freezing too. The changes are not visible after rendering. And not I'm not able to use an earlier version to finish the project.
Premiere is imprinting artifacting on my after effects render. I’ve reported this issue several times. I render something out of After Effects. bring it into adobe premiere. looks fine in the source monitor of premiere. then you lay it down on the timeline and it has all these weird artifacts on it. look at what i circled in the attached screenshot. I drag that same MOV render back into after effects and the artifacting isnt there. I cleared my cache in AE and premiere. that didnt fix it. re rendered the gfx from scratch. same result. I’m using Premiere 2025 (version 25.6.6 Buil 5) and After Effects 2025 (Version 25.6.6 build 4). Do not ask me to try to use a later version of these programs. The company I work for has asked that I use 2025 because they have not upgraded to 2026 and cant open those projects.
The delay is small but very noticeable for editing workflows. Some are in sync but some aren’t.Especially the end and beginning of a sentence is out of sync, easily noticeable. I’d say even 5-10 frames. This does NOT appear to be random drift. The captions are consistently delayed by a small amount (5-15 frames), which suggests a timing/alignment issue in the transcription engine itself rather than timeline sync problems.Works perfectly on 26.0.2 version. On 26.2.2 it’s not working properly.
In recent versions, the program freezes for a few seconds when the auto-save feature is enabled. The video plays, but the program’s functions don’t work. I have to force-close the program. This issue occurs in all projects, regardless of the number of files or effects. I didn’t notice the auto-save process before, but now it’s causing me discomfort, so I’ve turned it off. The project size is 3–10 MB. Just don't tell me that my hard drive can't save 3 MB in 10 seconds—and that's why it freezes.
