I made a mask tracking on a gaussian blurr and it comes well. But when i was going to do the same with a mask on lumetri color correction the loading bar of mask tracing stop on the mid part and it stays.
For whatever reason it doesn't seem like this is possible in 23.5. If the proxy is imported directly into premiere with no high rez original attached/linked then it'll transcribe normally. It'll transcribe normally when there's an original with a proxy attach, but if the clip is a proxy and the original is offline then transcripts will not generate. Hitting generate after the language/speakers pop up appears just kicks you back to an idle transcription panel. This limitation/bug is a bit problematic for long form offline workflows where the editors only have access to proxies on the storage, and since this is an offline workflow we can't work with the proxies directly or else there'll be scaling issues during finishing. The only workaround we can find is bascially generating the transcripts upon ingest which is a bit less than ideal. Its strange since static transcripts can still be generated with these proxy files if in a sequence, but regular transcripts cannot.
Running the latest Premiere Pro in windows 11 for Broadcast television station. I can no longer check the box for discrete mono audio tracks when exporting standard MXF op1a files. I have been doing this for many years and fully understand the process. I am currently trying to determine exactly when this bug happened and how many files i need to re-export. I went back 4 months ago and it was still working then. The preset we have been using doesn't check the box anymore. I tried using my own 16ch multichannel sequence and it does not work. I tried using your new broadcast preset with 29.97i 8 ch mono discreet and then click export and I am unable to check the mono audio tracks box. I have tried everything i can think of and nothing will let me check the box anymore. audio is setup correctly in the sequence In the export window i can't click the box.I went back and found the last files i had that exported properly 4 months ago: this file worked and output 16 discret
After a recent Premiere update, I've noticed the Graphics Replace feature in Text is missing. While Replace is still available for Captions, I rely heavily on the Graphics Replace feature. I'm wondering, is this feature permanently removed in future updates, or just temporarily unavailable? If it has indeed been deleted, are there any alternative workflows to achieve similar results?
I am unable to use copy/paste to duplicate a sequence in the project bin if remix is applied to a music track in said sequence.I know there is always the "duplicate" approach- but I could see this being an issue if you're trying to copy a sequence from one project to another.I believe this a bug that should be addressed.
The problem we are running into happens when you take a graded copy of the original source clips and drag them from the Bin to the timeline to replace the existing clip, the existing speed is not maintained. If the clip is at 100% speed this works fine. If it's been adjusted to anything else, it doesn't properly apply the existing speed change and therefore messes up the in/out point of the clip. The workflow that this affects is that we color grade our footage outside of Premiere. Duplicate our sequence to be our "fine cut" and then go across the timeline to each piece of footage and replace with the associated graded version of that clip. The drag and drop method has you hold down Shift+Opt while dragging over the existing footage in the timeline. The only solution is to:temporarily drag the existing clip into the track abovechange speed to 100%drag / replace from the bin with new clipchange the speed back to previous (ex. 150%)drag clip back down into video track&nbs
Hi everyone,I’ve recently upgraded to Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 and encountered a frustrating issue with multi-track audio. When I try to import a video file with multiple audio tracks, only the first audio track appears on the timeline. Dragging the source file onto the timeline just doesn't bring in the other tracks, even though they are definitely there.I’ve tried searching for a solution but haven’t found anything that works so far. Interestingly, this issue didn’t exist in Adobe Premiere Pro 2023. When I import the same file into the 2023 version, all the audio tracks come through without any problems.I’ve attached a screenshot showing a comparison between the 2023 and 2024 versions to illustrate what I mean.Has anyone else run into this problem or found a workaround? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!Attachment: Screenshot showing the difference between Adobe Premiere Pro 2023 and 2024 in handling multi-track audio.
i cant scroll down the very bottom in the latest version of premiere. the last file in the list is cutoff. Is anyone else having this problem? even if i take the bar and drag it down, it wont go down any more. see attached screenshot. premiere 25.0.0 (build 61). i'm in the root project area and not in a folder (bin) within the project. but if i double click on the footage bin within premiere and open that, the last file in the list is cut off as well. When I use Project Manager to "Collect Files and Copy to new Location", Premiere doubles the file extension of videos as seen below: Now, since the file name has technically changed, I have to relink the files ONE BY ONE. Doesn't work even if I turnoff file extension in relinking my media since 075_3275's file name is now 075_3275.MXF Anybody else having the same problem? How about a fix? Thanks!
In the new update if anyones having this issue where you go to create captions based off of your transcription, and it just never loads it stays at 0% of the captions being created forever... You have to roll back the update to any of the previous ones to create the captions, then go back to the newer version.

When you are working on a Production in which there is one project with imported media, another project with media sync via multi-camera clips, and other projects with timelines. Sometimes in these editing projects, when you open them, the multicam clips or the video clips are imported directly, and if you reassociate the source clips, they disappear from the project because they connect with the real source, which in fact was already there when you created the editing. The error therefore seems to be that the connection with the production project, which is the origin of the clips inserted in a timeline, is lost, but it is not known why this happens. It's obviously a Premiere bug, but no idea why it happens.Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
Hi, I'm currently using Premiere 24.2.1 and have encountered an issue upon updating to this new version. In my preferences the default audio transition (constant power in my case) has a duration set at 0.13 seconds. Whenever I use the shortcut to apply the transition it creates a transition with a duration of 1.05 seconds. Can anyone advise on a solution to this issue? ThanksJack
I'm having issues with Adobe Premiere and files recorded on the Sony PXW-Z190 camera. This camera records in XAVC-L 1080P codec. When I import these files into Premiere, create a timeline using the file settings, and Premiere simply crashes. This happens with all files recorded in this format and on this camera. We have tested these files on 6 other computers and the same problem occurs on all of them. Adobe Premiere is updated to its latest version (24.5.0) and still the problem persists. We have already cleared the cache and reinstalled the program several times and nothing has resolved the issue. Our current workaround is to convert the files in Adobe Encoder. This solves the problem. However, this becomes totally impractical due to the amount of footage recorded daily, causing the editing process to be slow. We are a local TV channel, where we need to edit urgently. Below are my computer specifications: Operating System: Win 10 (64 bits) 22h2 Processor: 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900
UPDATE: Fixed in Premiere Pro version 25 I tested today CC2024.6 but I had to switch back to an earlier version after two crashes within 10 minutes. After installation of CC2024.6 I cleared all mediacache and started to edit with one Sony XAVC MXF file (HD1018050P) from local disk. One clip with colorcorrection and one overlay track with a titel. Every time after a few minutes Premiere disappeared without any warning! This happend during scrubbing. Premiere Pro V 23.4.0Mac Studio M1 Ultra 64GBMac OS 13.2.1 VenturaProject- 10-minute Proof of Concept piece, 4K ProRes 422 (HQ)The steps taken:- Import standard SRT captions sidecar file into Project panel, generated by pro agency (ViCaps)- Drag program to generate timeline from movie export file named identically to SRT file, from same folder which also contains project file.- Drag SRT file containing full list of subtitlesExpected result: full caption track appearing above video track.Actual Result: only the first two SRT files show up and the rest do not appear, nor do they show up in the Text panel. Research:I examined the SRT file-- it is complete. Timecode ends in Audio Units, not Frames, so for one experiment changed timecode to Audio Units (100ths of a second). Otherwise, frame rate is 23.976.I note SRT files import at 30 FPS and I've been told this is normal and should not affect display of captions. Indeed the company provided an ad hoc video of the process using V 15 of
Just updated to Sequoia 15.1 as I had another unrelated bug I was trying to fix (not in Premiere), and suddenly keyframing the Scale in Effect Controls no longer works. Changing the scale works until a second keyframe is added, at which point it will keep the scale of the first keyframe. All i'm trying to do is a simple push-in. Tried on multiple clips on multiple timelines and the problem still persists. Both keyframes have different values but there is no change in scale visually. Anyone else have this problem? Using Premiere v 25.0 on a M1 Macbook.
Hello,I am experiencing an issue involving Upgrade Caption to Graphic. Watch this video to see the bug: I have created a simple preset that scales the width up and I set the Type: Scale so that the keyframes automatically adjust to the layer length. However, when I apply the preset to the Upgraded Caption to Graphic text layers, the preset does not scale. To test, I created a new text layer and applied the same preset and the preset worked (scaled accordingly) I will attach 2 photos to show the difference. Please fix this as soon as possible becuase this is not allowing me to use Automatic Captions if none of my animations work. The photo below is showing how the preset should work. This is a text layer I made without automatic captions and upgrade caption to graphic. The photo below is showing that the preset is not working on Upgrade Caption to Graphic text layers. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Please let me know what can be done. Thanks! -Kyle
Already had auto transcription turned off. Still crashing.
Sharing a screen record with my mouse clicks on. I've found it impossible to make edits without encountering endless spinning wait cursors (beach ball of death).
