I just installed the latest Adobe Raw Converter 14.4 .... I placed three raw files (.RW2) from my LumixG9 mirrorless camera in a folder, but when I select that folder, Raw Converter doesn't recognize that there are any raw files in that folder? I did rename the files from "_1014305" to "DavidF-4305" but otherwise I didn't change the file or it's extension. Any ideas of what's going on?
Hello there We use Bridge and ACR in our little two men company for our professional grading and editing workflow. We really really love how everything works together and how smooth the workflow is – also, since we use a cloud together/with our clients. The file management with xmp data is quick and precise and also the reason, why we prefere ACR over Lightroom. Since we are grading images from morning until evening, we were wondering, how to optimize even more. That’s when i started to look for a midi controller to use in our setup. Unfortunately, there seems to be no easy way to have a setup. I found Loupedeck+ but this device only works, when opening an image in PS and go into the ACR filter which would definitely not optimize our workflow. I think, adobe should do something about this – in the video editing business, this is standard (blackmagic for example). I bet, this would be huge!Does anybody have experience with Bridge/ACR/Midicontroller?
Hello, I have a question regrding Color LUT`s.. Using latest Photoshop and CameraRAW/LR (2020). Creating adj. layers and editing the image than exporting Color LUT in PH works fine however when I want that .CUPE file converted to .XMP so this profile can be imported in CameraRAW and LR than I am not sure how to do this ? There was a trick to do this in CameraRAW by hitting the button in the bottom of the right side when in profile window means hitting "option" im iMAC and clicking on new preset than we could load this .CUBE from CAMERA RAW and it's giving me the same pop up not the new preset pop up where in you can import your .cube files. I was able to imported cube files in Photoshop using the lookup color by i dont know how to export this and make it usable in lightroom.May I ask why ? is there any other option to accomplish this task ? This is the video that I was following and wasnt able to give the option of creating new profile or preset by clicking the ALT butto
Bit of an odd one here... Since updating to Camera RAW 17.2 I have a wierd problem whereby when opening images to edit in Camera Raw it IS NOT using the eGPU that I have installedwhen opening from Bridge (and in the settings the eGPU is not seen)... Before 17.2, it was... But, to complicate matters, Camera RAW 17.2 IS using the eGPU when opening images directly in photoshop (using the "open" command in Photoshop).... So handling of the eGPU is now seemingly different between Bridge and Photoshop (albeit I assume it is the same plugin) When I access the camera raw settings through Bridge I cannot see my eGPU, only the on board GP, and certain settings are not available using the on board GPU (not powerful enough)... In earlier versions of CR, I could see my eGPU as the one being used... On the flip side, when I access camera RAW settings from Photoshop, the graphics card support updates (first) and I can see the eGPU (and the functions work correctly).&nbs
I've converted jpg scans in the past to tif, and opened in CR but that is not happening now. Have checked all the settings. I opened directly in to CR not needing Bridge to do it, besides, there is no right click option to open in Camera Raw instead of PS in Bridge or anywhere. I scanned to jpg, 1.2GB grayscale file converted to RGB (3x file size) 8bit saved as .tif. Not opening. I've done this before, it was not a problem before. What changed? What am I missing? None of the suggested shortcuts or myriad of ways suggested to open a file in CR work.
Please allow for the user-defined arrangement of panels in Camera Raw - as well as in Lightroom. It is important to set the White Balance as the first step before using the sliders in the Light panel. The Temp and Tint sliders were until recently at or near the top, a far better position!Recently moving the Temp and Tint sliders into a Color panel and placing that panel below theLight panel is definitely NOT helpful.Rather than simply placing the current Color panel above the Light panel might be a little bit of an improvement over the present, but not nuch. Also, combining Temp, Tint, Vibrance and Saturation into a single panel may seem logical on some level, but it is highly ineffiecent. A far better idea would be allowing the user to order the panels as desired! Similar to setting one's own Workspace in Photoshop.
My wife is a real estate photographer that shoots in RAW and makes heavy use of the ACR Enhance + Denoise functionality. (Image sizes = 26MB - 5472 x 3648)The performance of this feature has never been great - But it has gone worse since about 2 weeks ago - It looks like she updated photoshop and all plugins round about the same time. It currently takes about 2 minutes per image, but we've seen it sometimes take 15 minutes for 2 images. She typically does not process more than 20 images at a time - But even when doing only 5 to 10, the same issue is seen. I haven't tried to downgrade to an earlier version yet, but here are some steps I have tried so far based on other discussions:Photoshop, Camera Raw, NVidia studio drivers - All on latest versionsConfirmed there is no "Acronis Active Protection service" runningDisabled second GPU completely, but also configured NVidia to use High performance GPU for photoshop and sniffer.exeCamera-Raw Tech previews are disab
I'm not sure which is the correct place to post since I access the ACR Filter via Photoshop 2025. So, I posted under the Ps Community initially. Here's a link to the bug/issue that developed on Feb. 14 when I updated to ACR 17.2 & that I reported in that other forum just now:https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/update-to-latest-acr-rel-17-2-changed-panel-positions-in-unfixable-way/td-p/15158086
There is an option to delete all metadata except copyright (or copyright and contact info) when exporting the JPG files, which is really usefull. But there is one filed, the create date (when the photograph was taken), which would be fantastic to keep in addition to the copyright info. I use multiple cameras, and have to edit, export and send my photos multiple times during an event. But I want to have my pictures in my final gallery in chronological order. Which is only possible if I keep all metadata when I'm exporting from ACR, and do two additional stpes with a third party software: renaming the files based on the creation date, and delete all metadata, except copyright info, after rename is done. It would be super useul to have a new option in the drop-down list to keep this metadata field in addition to copyright info to avoid the additional steps. Or the perfect solution would be a panel with the commonly used metadata groups and fileds, where the user can customise wich fi
Not seeing camera raw 14.5 in my ps filter after restarting and reinstalling. It's supposed to be compatible with my older ps5 version, for my new Canon R100. TIA for any help!
Hello Adobe Team, I would like to report an issue with the Polish translation in Adobe Camera Raw 17.2. Currently, the "Light" panel is translated as "Jasny", which is incorrect. In the context of photography, "Light" should be translated as "Światło" to accurately represent the concept of illumination. This mistranslation might cause confusion for Polish-speaking users. I kindly request that this be reviewed and corrected in a future update to improve the overall user experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards,Paweł Słowik www.slowik.eu
Anyone know of a solution to this?I get this when opening a raw file in photoshop, either by double clicking on file in explorer, or through photoshop's open menu, or when drag and drop file on photoshop. Have to kill photoshop via task manager. If I run camera raw on a second screen (e.g. projector for demo) and then exit camera raw and photoshop, the next time I open a raw file, camera raw uses the now disconnected second screen and photoshop is locked up. Reboot (windows) does not resolve, the only solution seems to be to connect a second screen again and move the camera raw window back onto the first screen. If no second screen is available (e.g. when travelling) then hard luck, no photoshop until you can borrow a screen to move camera raw back.
Hallo. Bis vor kurzem war noch ein KI RAW Profil zu finden. Wo wurde dies hinverschoben?GrüßeAndreas
Update today to Camera Raw - loaded Bridge to use Camera Raw and can no longer see Geometry Panel

Yesterday I was happy with Photoshop and ACT everyhing worked as it has for ages. I was editing a RAW file and had a crash to the desktop.Since then ACR and photoshop won't open a RAW file at all. "GPU Acceleration Required - Camera RAW requires graphics processsor acceleration to edit photos." The OFF option is grayed out. If I go to Photoshop prefs. Performance Tab. All is good Card Detected, Tick in Use Graphics Processor but in Camera Raw Settings Performance Tab: ! "Camera Raw graphics acceleration is not supported by your system!" It was until yesterday!Use Graphics Processor is set to OFF and greyed out.Ive done a clean instal of Photoshop and a clean graphics card driver.Any Ideas what has happened?
Hi, I'm testing camera raw and would like to connect keyboard shortcuts to a programmable keyboard (Contour Shuttlepro2 or XPpen ACK05).Usually to configure these devices you point to the program executable, but camera raw doesn't have an executable and therefore I can't find a way to set the keyboard shortcuts on the device. Is there a way to fix this and setup cameraraw in these devices? Thanks.
I did post this in the general forum, was advised to bring the question here, for more detailed information: My practice has been to edit a photo, including resizing, then apply sharpening as the last step. Now, I just noticed Camera Raw applies sharpening (default value, 40) before importing into the Photo Editor (Elements '21). WHICH WOULD BE BEST: a) as I have done, let Camera Raw apply its default sharpening, then I again sharpen as last editing step, after resizing; b) set Camera Raw sharpening value to zero (0 - no sharpening), then perform all sharpening as last photo editing step; or, c) Set Camera Raw to a desirable degree of sharpening, and do no more sharpening in Photo Editor ???PLEASE ADVISE In the general forum, I have received this response: Adobe Community Professionalcorrect answer Correct answer by MichelBParisAdobe Community Professional , 16 hours ago@josephunit2nYour question has been discussed widely 10 or 15 years ago by the programmers of ACR them
I have enabled the Distraction Removal feature in ACR, however it appears that this results in the disabling of the Enhance function. I am attempting to process several old 6MP images from 2004/5 period, and after ebaling the distraction removal function, it ppears that the Enhance function is disabled, and thu you an't use both functions. Any advice regaring this issue would be appreciated. (I am using Windows 10 with current ACR)

Hi,Pshop 26.2 and raw 17.1.1. absolute latest.I open a jpg into Camera Raw, file>openas>camera rawI choose mask and paint the entire area then do exposurecreate a second mask paint all over, apply dehazeditto make clarity.open the image and save as .tiffclose the jpg WITHOUT SAVING IT.I can then open it again and see my masks, this is the workaround to pshp failing to save .xmp for non native raw files, such as scans of 35mm negs, slides, flat bed scans etc. perfectly valid rasters since the start of photography. I then open the next image it needs the same conversion,go apply previous settings..AND NOTHING HAPPENS, NO MASKS ARE SHOWN. If I have a load of these images needing same conversion, what the heck does one do to overcome this issue ? since I installed pshop its been one discovery of 'what the heck' after another. Merlin
Hello, I am trying to see how I get the Color Temperature in Camera Raw to reflect the values in Kelvin and not on a 0 scale? How can I change this? My mentor shows me his PS Camera Raw and it reflects Color Temp by Kelvin number.. I'd prefer to see mine that same way so I can be precise in my adjustments
Well, this is a weird one. I typically import my photos into Photoshop, which automatically opens Camera RAW. I'm used to using the Denoise control and adjusting the slider to get it just right, and then readjusting if the results aren't what I want. However ... I now get a completely different control, more reminscent of Lightroom, but once I'm selected my amount, and run the denoise, that's it - no changes allowed. HUH? Other weirdness (and, yes, I'm running the most recent PS version: 26.3.0) is that when I finish with Camera RAW and say Open as object ... it doesn't. I can't go back and redo my edits in Camera RAW. Further, the new remove reflections tool is also missing, and I use that several times a day. Why would this new, clean install of PS on my new M4 Mac mini give me a poor, older version of Camera RAW? (well, not even older, just ... broken) And, yes, these are the same cr3 files that I've been using all along. It seems to want to give me a new DNG f
Hi, I make and have many customers who use cameras that I have converted from color to monochrome by removing the Color Filter Array (CFA) and microlenses. A monochrome converted camera has higher spatial and contrast resolution than the same color camera. Currently, some customers use the utility Monochrome2DNG to convert the camera RAW to a 16 bit monochrome DNG file without debayering (pixel for pixel conversion). It would be nice if the Adobe DNG converted added monochrome support for DNG creation without debayering as well. Currently, if you use the Adobe converter on a monochrome camera, you can easily see the debayering on the DNG file where you lose definition. Maybe a simple switch like '-M' for monochrome / no debayering conversion.
