Camera Raw

When closing a file from camera raw through bridge, no changes are saved and the message reads "unable to save raw conversion" and "the file could not be created. I have given bridge and photoshop full disc access with no results. This just started happening out of seemingly nowhere.

Hi All, Latest versions of Photoshop and Bridge. 16'MBP M! Max, MacOS Sonoma 14.5 Opened and done any edit on any image in ACR today, then press on 'Done" button, and have this dialog pop on the screen. Ive done research, see this happened already in the years past, but the fix I found there (Bridge and Photoshop have full disk access in Privacy Settings (System Preferences) didnt work. Ive restarted Bridge and Photoshop and teh computer, no change. Does someone knwo how to fix this?   

The new denoise feature is certainly a step forward with its adjustable levels, but I’ve encountered a frustrating drawback. Whenever I use the denoise function, it prompts me to "Update AI Settings," which takes an unnecessarily long time. Worse, it often disrupts my brush edits and mask settings in the process.When editing over 100 photos, even minor adjustments to masks, brushes, or denoise settings trigger long waiting times—sometimes up to 10 minutes for a batch to process. Despite using a Dell XPS 17 with an RTX 3060, which isn’t top-of-the-line but fairly capable, these delays are difficult to manage.My current workaround is reverting to Camera Raw 16.5, where I can apply denoise to all photos at once, export the DNG files, and work on them without delays. On the latest Lightroom Classic release version 13.5 there is a new lens profile (v3) for the Canon 24-240 lens. It has reintroduced the "bad borders" bug. Workaround is simply to select the older v2 profile.

Hello, I encountered a problem: when editing one photo, I went into crop mode with the grid turned on and after that this grid got stuck in crop mode with no way to cancel, the cross and repeated clicking on the grid in the lower right corner do not give any result, I restarted the computer, reinstalled Photoshop and this did not fix anything, how can I get rid of this grid and return the standard one with the rule of thirds? Hello, when I select multiple images in Adobe Bridge and in Camera RAW select all with Ctrl+A and click "Auto" button, only some images are applied auto adjustment...not all... do you now why?

I've been using 2 monitors until today. I bought one wide monitor and now us it (samsung). No prob removing the old two and plug and play on the new Samsung. Problem is I can no longer open camera raw from Bridge. This morning I cold with two monitors this afternoon I can't with one monitor. Coincidence??? I dunno!I have rebooted numerous times - Windows 11 only shows one monitor - the new one.Uninstalled and reinstalled all PS companion programs. Any ideas or help is appreciated. Yes, I like going straight from Bridge to ACR to PS 

Desde la ultima actualizacion que se le hizo al camera RAW de photoshop, mi computadora no deja de apagarse cuando abro este programa, unicamente se apaga cuando lo utilizo, me gustaria saber como quitar la actualizacion del camera RAW ya que presenta un gran problema para mi trabajo. 

I am a longtime Elements user. I recently bought a Canon R6 mark ii and couldn't get Elemnts 2021 with any of its updates to open teh raw files, so I bought Elements 2023, installed teh Raw update, and it still won't open the Raw files--I just keep getting an error message saying to install the Raw update. So I uninstalled everythign and tried again. Same result. After more than an hour on hold with online help, I am starting to get desperate. The Canon R6 mark ii is listed as supported; it is apparently the updat eitself that isn't installing or working correctly. Help. Thanks.

Hi, for the longest time I am having issue with ACR, that is fortunately just kinda quality of life thing. Scrolling through menus and filters in ACR is incredibely laggy to a point of me going crazy. Sliders are fine though, they are working fine.The video shown is on a fresh install, so no settings are changed. This is happening on windows 11 and it was happening on windows 10 before too.Any help will be highly appreciated. Hallo, seit heute Nachmittag habe ich das Problem, dass sich mein Camera Raw-Modul nicht mehr starten lässt. Es kommt immer die Meldung, dass eine GPU-Beschleunigung benötigt wird. Bei der Kompatibiitäts-Prüfung sind jedoch alle Punkte grün - somit ok. Die aktuellen Treiber für die Grafikkarte sind auch installiert.  Hat jemand dafür eine Lösung? Chris

I'm working with Camera Raw (16.1) on Photoshop 2024 (25.3.1) and finding that consistently when saving images my menu bar will have a red overlay to it. Sometimes it's solid, sometimes it's patchy. Mousing over it causes it to appear, and disappear intermittently. All screen shots turn the entire bar red. I'm on a 2019 Macbook Pro running Sonoma 14.2 using a dual montior setup over HDMI. The red overlay is on both the Macbook display, and the external monitor.  It doesn't appear to be causing any issues with files saved, but instead is a graphical bug. Anyone else experienced this? or have a solution?

When im finished editing in camera raw, select all and press open, it takes me back to bridge losing all my edits. I cannot figure out how to get it back to opening the images into photo shop help please!

Students and educators with temporary at-home access to the Creative Cloud desktop apps are unable to use Camera Raw. Users receive the following error message, even with Adobe Bridge, Adobe Photoshop, and/or Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic installed:  Camera Raw editing is not enabled.Camera Raw editing requires that a qualifying product has been licensed.

This is not specific to ACR but rather how Adobe generatres DNGs with ACR in the latest release.... I have noticed that when the DNG converter creates a DNG, Windows Explorer in Windows 10 crashes when you have preview thumbnails turned on which makes me think that the DNG converter software is not embedding a preview properly in the DNG that Windows Explorer can interpret. I have verified this problem is specific to Adobe's DNG conversion process (either using some function in LightRoom Classic that generates a DNG or using the DNG converter itself).  I have testerd with other DNG converters (like Iridient's X-Transformer for Fuji files and also the Nikon version of their software and there are no issues with thumbnail previews with those DNG files).  So this seems to be a problem with the ADobe DNG converter, with regard to DNGs it creates.  I've also narrowed this down by deleting ONLY the DNGs A work around for now is to turn off thumbnail previews, bu

I recently got CS4 Extended version of Photoshop and need to work on my RAW files, but they won't open. I can see the thumbnails in Bridge and when I try to open them Photoshop says they're "not the right type of document"...so...not sure what to do. I've done a ton of research and cannot figure out why these files are unable to open. I need help!

Using Photoshop verion 26.0.0 on my Windows 11 24H2 PC, I get an incomplete mask around my subjects.  There is a small but sharp border at the subjects that is not blurred.  This problem does not occur in the Masking section of Camera Raw.  Luminar Neo does not have this problem.

Hi! I need some help, with settings for colour (I assume) when editing RAW-images in Photoshop Camera Raw, version 17.0.0.2043. Editing colours in (right now) impossible, since the colouring looks one way in Camera Raw-mode (see image "photoshop raw-sRGB"), and another way when opened in regular photoshop, and then saved in jpeg-format (see the other two images).  How can I make the colours look the same when editing in Raw and opening in photoshop? 🙂 Big thanks in advance!/Lisa
