I updated Premiere Pro today and now I am having issue with Dynamic Linking Character Animator scenes. Is anyone else experiencing this? It was working fine before I updated, now there is a difference between the scene before importing to Premiere Pro and afterwards. I'm super frustrated right now because nothing that worked before is working now.
Hi everyone! I don't have a webcam but i have a sony a6300 DSLR that works just fine, i managed to set it as a virtual camera with OBS and the Virtual Camera pluginand it works on discord (i'm guessing it will work in any other videocalls apps) my issue comes when i try to add a webcam in Character Animator and it doesnt find any webcam. I press the little webcam icon, it turns blue as long is i keep it pressed, and turns back grey as i stop pressing it. I wouldn't mind spending 20 bucks on a cheapo webcam but it bothers me a bit having an expensive, goodlooking camera that works everywhere but Adobe Character Animator, any help? Excuse my english and thank you so much.
I know it's complicated, but until recently, I have been using a puppet with this rig structure just fine......With the Frontal view tagged as "Head," I could get the extra head tilt. And to use Body Tracking, I simply untagged this Frontal "Head," and CH wouldn't get confused. But this no longer works; perhaps coinciding with the addition of Motion Library? I've tried multiple ways of restructuring it, plus removing different tracked handles, and the character's torso either pins to the background or does something like this...And this does not happen with Body Tracking off, even with Motion Library on and the Frontal "Head" still tagged. I have not found an example puppet with all these aspects combined (multiple character views like Standing and Walking + extra head tilt control + Body Tracking) so if someone has one, please post the rigging structure, if you would. Hopscotch is close but doens't have multiple character views. Removing the Standing view may be my only option. It see
안녕하세요. 웹캠에 가까워지면 눈이 작아지고 멀어지면 눈이 커집니다. 해결책이 있습니까?
I have had several problems with this program since I have started using it. Most times when I close the program for the day then reopen it the next the file I was working on it won't recognize the file. I have unistalled and reinstalled the program several times. When I reinstall and open the program it is a 50/50 whether the file works. Most time I have to reimport the AI file which means I have lost all of my rigging. This have become a work flow nightmare. Two steps forward two steps back. The other issue I am having is when the program is working I cannot hear the audio at all. Not if I am listening/watch a playback after recording, and not if I import a file. I am using many other Adobe products and the audio work on all of them. I am using a PC, Character Animator version 23.1
I have a character who is sitting, so they dont have any leg tags. He can move from the waist with body tracking but for some reason he moves back to his original position once i move my body in the camera. On the Body behaviour I have "If tracking lost" set to hold in place, but either setting doesnt seem to make a difference. If i disarm the body behaviour it stops doing this, and I have a face behaviour that drives some of the tilt and doesn't reset its position if I have the face behaviour armed and the body behaviour disarmed, but i do need it to be armed. I haven't seen this happen before with any sitting puppet ive made before in the same way Thanks
Can I Purchase motions to add to Motion library? If so where?
Hi, I've got a character where i've set up face parallax following this video - The Head and the Left Ear have their own head behaviours applied. All of it works just how I want, but my character has a beard I want to move along with the mouth parallax, but I also want it to be masked to the face so when my character turns, more or less of the beard is revealed. I've tried...Grouping the beard and applying the mouth tag. It seems like Ch recognises only one instance of the mouth tag, whichever comes first in the layer hiearchy, which I need for the actual mouth. Putting the beard group inside the mouth group like this+Mouth >Beard group >Neutral >Surprised (then all the other mouth shapes etc etc)This doesnt work because i think Ch assumes the beard is another mouth shape that it should switch between for the lip sync so it doesn't appear by default. Then I tried this:+Mouth >Beard group >Mouth
This mainly applies to characters and rigs with the head-turner and/or other parallax behaviors enabled. There are two parts to this feature request.1) Please add the ability to preview and face track on multiple camera inputs at the same time on a synchronous subject (i.e. 2+ cameras front and rear, front and side, etc.)2) Allow for automatic switching of cameras based on face tracking such as if the main webcam loses face tracking or stops recording but the integrated webcam still has a clear angle of the subject. Or a tracking status indicator by camera to aid in calibration for multiple camera inputs, and to aide in manual camera switching.I have a use case where I would like to have a close-up cam for more detailed shots, however I often face 90* to a secondary screen to press controls or make adjustments to the scene. I continously lose calibration, but adding in a way to pause the tracking or quickly switch input cameras without having to go back to the camera panel to manually
It would be good if you could use multiple mics and cameras within 1 scene, this would be handy if you are creating a talk style show with a generic guest, we could use the audio feed to run the lip sync of a generic guest character while we continue to run the lip sync of our character at the same time. This could be done by bringing in a skype call and allowing the guest to control the character remotely
My puppet has a head hierarchy that's pretty standard: PuppetName - Head - Frontal - then face elements (Glasses, Left Eye, Right Eye, etc). Here's the problem: I would love to put both eyes inside the Glasses layer, but I am unable to put them within that layer because Illustrator won't let me keep adding sub-layers apparently. I think I need all the hierarchy layers I currently have, so, what's the best way to overcome this limitation? Thanks for any help you can offer!
My Characters have very short stubby legs and arms, and it seems to me that the default walk behavior just moves too many things around to really work with my animals. So, I'm looking for the best way to create a few keyframes where I basically just move my legs around in a simple circle. I'm basically trying to figure out how to create a little keyframe animation for the legs that cycles. I've seen thumbnails of tutorials to build a hand-wave, but I'm wondering if I can have a limb animation loop, etc. Hopefully this is clear. There are proibably more than 50 tutorials that all demonstrate the pre-made walk behavior, but I don't think I've seen one that builds a walk-cycle from scratch, so maybe that doesn't exist. But if that is a thing, I'm super interested.
Presently the mouth shapes for "ah" and "oh" are inserted as still frames as determined by the speech file. How about we have intermediate frames for these mouth shapes? Like the transition from "ah" to "oh" could have just a few frames of transitionary shapes between these two (which we could upload ourselves). The program could then insert these transitionary phases in automatically depending on the order of the shapes. It would be very easy for the program to do this. It would make the whole thing look so much smoother, and if it worked, I think would be an absolute game changer.
When I click on the play button nothing happens. I have refreshed the scene. I have exited and re-entered. I have a 2-minute scene that was playing fine and suddenly it will not play at all. Any ideas on why it will no longer play? Thanks.
I'm having an issue with exporting scenes in Character Animator. The screen will shift to the left and roll over on the right. I have tried to reinstall the program. Install the latest graphic driver for my Ninvida GPU. Attached is a picture of whats happening. I'm not getting any errors. Not sure what's going on. It has always worked just fine.
I've been working with this character for days and shot many scenes with it. After removing independence from an object (hair), it got hung up and started not responding. After roughly 10 minutes of waiting, I restarted Character Animator and my computer as well. The scene opened back up ok the first time, then hung up after switching to rig mode. I restarted again and troubleshooting led me to clearing the cache (Alt and Refresh Button) which caused it to be permanently hanging up in the scene as well. I restared and opened an older character with no issues, but the important character I'm currently working on now crashes Character Animator. Please help.
When I try to export a scene through Character Animator, I'm told to install Media Encoder. But I already have it installed. I'm on Windows 10 using Character Animator 22.5 and Media Encoder 23.5. I have ME open but Character Animator does not recognize it.
I am trying to edit the movements of a character after lip-synching the character to an audio file. I would like to be able to practice adding movements and gestures BEFORE I actually start recording them. However, the newly added gestures and actions only appear when I'm in record mode. This means that I have to record all my practice attempts, which I do not want to do. How can I play through my scene and try out different gestures for a character WITHOUT recording those gestures?
Hello, I'm getting this error when I try go to File > Export > Puppet. Any ideas? and how can I avoid this in the future? Thanks!
In character animator, everything is set to 1920x1080 for the scene, when I transfert through Media Encoder, the background image appears to be cut off and repeated towards the right. The left side of the frame has been cut off and moved to the right side of the frame. Artwork is all centered in Ch at 1920 x 1080 as you can see. Here is Media Encoder version and settings and what the Mp4 ends up looking like (note the background line to the right): Here's the source from CH:Can anyone help me with this issue? Thanks,Bill.
I am trying to use the nutcracker jaw feature and need a detailed puppet to help me solve a possible rigging problem. Where is the Nutcracker Annie.psd puppet that is referenced in the literature? What I have found otherwise is limited and does not help. Thanking anyone in advance. My problem is that even though it is an independent layer, my +Jaw also moves both the Head and Body (while also seeming to move itself appropriately in relation to the Head. I'm sure I am doing something profoundly dumb but I can't find a good example to work with. I found the gorilla example but it does not help me. I am making an actual nutcracker character and I do not want the face to move or distort (like a real nut cracker wouldn't do). I have gone through every permutation of independence of Head, Body, and Jaw layers I can think of. My drawing app is Illustrator but I can speak Photoshop. I need Nutcracker Annie! hahaha
I made a charakter from 3 different angles in a swapset. The front perspektiv can use motion libary on it, the side and the backsite is not able to move with motion libary. Is it even possible? If i switch, the motion can not come with it. (The Behaviors are not just on the front site, but on the main layer which all other layers are in.)
Hi everyone, i am trying to edit the movement of the hands, but is there any other way to move various postures of hands?I've tried the Trigger option, but it does not work as I intended to do. The goal of the work is that I show sign languages as a animated videos. Are there any tipps to do? Or is this not possible with this program?
Hello, I'm trying to make my own character for the first time, I don't understand why the body icon isn't present in the "camera and microphone" area. I want to clarify that in my character the structure of the body is already present with the correct subdivision of the elements. Thanks in advance
Whenever I make a character blink/copletaly close it's eyes, the base skincolor disappears. This has happned with two different characters. For the one I am working on now; the skincolor-layer disappears, but the hair-layers underneath is vissible. The same happened to another character, but that character did not have any layer underneath the skincolor, so the background was vissible instead.Any advice on how to make this not happen?
