Character Animator

I been using character animator for 2 years now. never had an issue with the program till these past few weeks. i keep getting these errors. wont even let me rig my character. I am not using any cloud services. i am on a desktop and everything is in my internal hard drive. I un installed the program 3 times. I installed an older version of character animator to see if that would work but no luck. i keep getting this error with any version of character animator.

I jhave a Tonor, I've used it before, but everytime I turn it on in Animator It makes audio very badly distorted until I turn the mic off..  When I try to record on.Any Audio is very badly distorted it also becomes very badly distorted.

Not sure what's wrong I have been trying to explore exporting videos in different dimensions than the usual hd sizes, 1920 by 1080, Switching it up to something like 1080 by 1920 vertical video for Instagram and the likes. Having a weird black line running through from top to bottom and the video shifts to the left and repeats on the other side of the band

I am getting an error every time I open this app on my pc. I was surprised to see that I have the pro version as well, so anytime I click to move back to starter, I will see the following error. I have tried deleting all my projects, restarting my pc , and ensured this was installed locally on my C drive. anything else? This is my file structure btw

I've been using Character animator in After Effects for about two years, and something unusual has just started happening. Not sure if it's a bug or if it's an issue with how I've set it up. In any Character scene that I create, the character model is always placed in the centre, and appears in the centre of any preview. However, when I export this scene (either by linking the Ch file in AE, or by rendering out from Character directly) the character model suddenly moves to one side of the screen and overlaps across to the opposite side. I've had a look and there are no hidden objects in the character model, and even if there were, surely the Character preview would show it. This happens with every character model that I've tried, and happens in different After Effects projects. Any help would be very much appreciated!

Hi! I exported a .puppet file and brought it into a new project, but one of the shareable puppets within the main puppet is not showing a file path for the original file and the "edit original" button at the bottom of the project panel is greyed out. I'd like to edit the original file, but can't figure out how or where it's connected to the artwork. Anything I can do to fix this?

Wassup yall I hope you are doing goodI have a problem.I can't tell why, when i export my scene with Media Encoder, or when i charge my scenes to After Effect, the image of the video is "strangely" separate (exemlples in the images bellow). Plus, In Ae, the separation changes in depend of the resolution i use (watch the images) but never get fixed, welly framed.BUT when i use tho option quick export in the menu, the image of the video is welly framed (no separation).I'm using Ch 23.1, I've tryed to unistall and re install the app, the bug is still there.I need to charge my Ch scene in my Ae projectCan someone help me please ?

I have written here several time about how if I use the program start a puppet, turn off the program and come back to it days later the program won't open or recognize any of my files. I have had a few response talking about how where I save my file might be the problem. This makes no sense to me as that no other program has ever had this problem. I have attached images of what the program is saying. Can someone please tell me what I need to do, where I need to save my files, or if there is a person I can talk to for help thank you.

I updated Premiere Pro today and now I am having issue with Dynamic Linking Character Animator scenes.  Is anyone else experiencing this?  It was working fine before I updated, now there is a difference between the scene before importing to Premiere Pro and afterwards.  I'm super frustrated right now because nothing that worked before is working now.

I know it's complicated, but until recently, I have been using a puppet with this rig structure just fine......With the Frontal view tagged as "Head," I could get the extra head tilt. And to use Body Tracking, I simply untagged this Frontal "Head," and CH wouldn't get confused. But this no longer works; perhaps coinciding with the addition of Motion Library? I've tried multiple ways of restructuring it, plus removing different tracked handles, and the character's torso either pins to the background or does something like this...And this does not happen with Body Tracking off, even with Motion Library on and the Frontal "Head" still tagged. I have not found an example puppet with all these aspects combined (multiple character views like Standing and Walking + extra head tilt control + Body Tracking) so if someone has one, please post the rigging structure, if you would. Hopscotch is close but doens't have multiple character views. Removing the Standing view may be my only option. It see

I have had several problems with this program since I have started using it. Most times when I close the program for the day then reopen it the next the file I was working on it won't recognize the file. I have unistalled and reinstalled the program several times. When I reinstall and open the program it is a 50/50 whether the file works. Most time I have to reimport the AI file which means I have lost all of my rigging. This have become a work flow nightmare. Two steps forward two steps back. The other issue I am having is when the program is working I cannot hear the audio at all. Not if I am listening/watch a playback after recording, and not if I import a file. I am using many other Adobe products and the audio work on all of them. I am using a PC, Character Animator version 23.1

I'm having an issue with exporting scenes in Character Animator. The screen will shift to the left and roll over on the right. I have tried to reinstall the program. Install the latest graphic driver for my Ninvida GPU. Attached is a picture of whats happening. I'm not getting any errors. Not sure what's going on. It has always worked just fine.

I've been working with this character for days and shot many scenes with it.  After removing independence from an object (hair), it got hung up and started not responding.  After roughly 10 minutes of waiting, I restarted Character Animator and my computer as well.  The scene opened back up ok the first time, then hung up after switching to rig mode.  I restarted again and troubleshooting led me to clearing the cache (Alt and Refresh Button) which caused it to be permanently hanging up in the scene as well.  I restared and opened an older character with no issues, but the important character I'm currently working on now crashes Character Animator. Please help.

In character animator, everything is set to 1920x1080 for the scene, when I transfert through Media Encoder, the background image appears to be cut off and repeated towards the right. The left side of the frame has been cut off and moved to the right side of the frame. Artwork is all centered in Ch at 1920 x 1080 as you can see. Here is Media Encoder version and settings and what the Mp4 ends up looking like (note the background line to the right): Here's the source from CH:Can anyone help me with this issue? Thanks,Bill.

Hello, I can't access to my Ch project no more... When I try to open my file, this error message appears, I cant work on it no more. This is a three month work I was about to finish. Can someone helps me please ?Is there a way to use a previous save of my work ?

Hi, I've been trying to use CH for 2 months, but every time I try to use a puppet designed by one of my collaborators, the program really slows down and won't let me do anything.I have attached my puppet (still to be fixed for rigging, but it already slows down the program).I have a Macbook Pro with M1 Pro and 32GB RAM from 2022.Suggestions?

Hello, everyone. I have weird shenanigans with my quarter and profile angle eyes behaviour.First, the quarter angles seem to have only one pupil moving, while the other is as still as a rock (happening on both left and right quarters).Second, the profile angles has an even worse problem as the entire eye was rotating and moving around like crazy (as if the entire Eye group was tagged as Pupil, in which case it is not). The Front angle is working just fine, and all the other four angles has identical layer format (I am pretty sure I was using a conventional layer format widely provided by multiple tutorials) and tagging as the Front angle (with each angle groups tagged to their own matching angle tags).I have went through every thread here with similar problems but still not finding myself being able to replicate the solutions available in those other threads, leading to this attempt of mine of posting another thread, fearing that I might have different cause of the same problem.Pr

Hi everyone, I created a frame and a background in photoshop with size 450x750 each as PSD.i verify with selection size, image size, canvas size... they really, really are both 450x750px.Next I go to Char Anim and set the stage size to 450x750. I import both images ... the frame lines up perfectly to the pixel with the scene but the background is wider than the scene, appears to be stretched horizontally an extra 10 pixels left and right side . I check transform properties, everything is default. I don't understand what could possibly make the 2 images different ! Thanks for any help

So I've tried using the compute head movement from speech with about 3 different puppets now, and eveyr single time I do, rather than moving the head fluidly, it sort of just makes the puppet's head jump to a slightly different position every few seconds, as if it's lagging, when it isn't. I also have pose-to-pose movement set to 0%. That was the first thing I checked, so it shouldn't be the issue. Adjusting any of the "Face" parameters has any effect either, at least not on the jumpiness. The funny thing is that the last time I tried this feature quite some time ago, I had the issue of the face and it's features moving far too much regardless, so now somehow, without having edited any of the puppets since that last time I tried it, it's producing a very different, albeit still broken result. I can provide video if you want a bit later on, but I feel like I've spelled out the problem pretty clearly, especially since there are several other posts in this discussion board

When I save my Puppet in AI, then open in up Character Animator the puppet's limbs are not in the same place as the Illustrator file and I have to realine everything. Is this normal?

Inicio o Criador de Caracteres em meu mac, ele fala a primeira frase para fazer uma expressão neutra e para por aí.Há algo que possa fazer para corrigir este erro ?Obrigado

I have Windows 10 (22H2) version. I create a sequence with Adobe character animator (not the full version, but the free version with my plan).  And I export video to mpeg using high quality and have also tried other qualities. The created video plays on my desktop, but not on another Windows 10 notebook. The video I have sent via whatsapp to several mobile phones. These devices also play the video, but with no sound. Some are Apple and some are Android and they are on the latest technolgy. Problem happens on several devices. I have used FFMeg to check the sound, and it is AAC sound, and I can separate the sound to mpeg3 on my machine. I also changed the sound track to mpeg3 and re added it. Still sound only on my machine.  Any suggestions are welcome.

I wanna know do i get a prize if i tell this bug. If i will i am gonna explain it.

I've uploaded a face image to Charcterizer and get the following error (23.1x79): Capture file "face-capture.facecap" is invalid or corrupted and has been renamed to "face-capture 1.corrupted".
