Hi.I'm a student and have been running adobe connect since september last year without any problems.Then yesterday I suddenly couldnt enter any rooms anymore.When clicking the link to my classroom, the popup window opens as usual but it stops there. As a small white frame.Right clicking in it gives the message "movie not loaded..."I've tried both FF and IE. upgraded flash without any effect. Reboot didn't fix it either.I have not installed any new graphics drivers since this probem occured.One of my class mates also got this problem just yesterday. We had a meeting last friday and then it was working 100%.Any ideas?

Hi,I have published a quiz created in Captivate 4. In the learner and manager reports, I am able to see individual score for each question but the question text itself is not visible in reports. This is not the case when I create and publish quiz using Presenter. Since Captivate 4 allows publishing output directly to ConnectPro, logically question text should also appear in reports. Is this not so? Are there any special settings for doing this? My current settings are:Quiz >Reporting > 1. Enable Reporting For This project2. LMS = Adobe Connect Pro3. Report to LMS as = Score4. I am trying to upload a custom logo for both the login page and actual meeting page view (aka customize central) and I cannot for the life of me get the page customization to work. Every time I upload a logo it shows up as a broken image and when I hit apply it goes back to the default.  Yes, I tried jpeg, gif, png, all at the exact logo dimensions requested.I really want to use this product and love the fact that there are some great intro videos, but at the end of the day if I can't get little things like this to work on the first try we're going to have to go with another provider. Any Adobe employees care to convince me otherwise?  Perhaps by helping me resolve this issue and not forwarding me back to another forum (as your phone rep did rather hastily) would be a GREAT way to get a new Client on board.  Just a suggestion.Thanks!

is it not possible to install adobe connect pro server on my own server ? there is no link in the adobe website to download a trial verison of adobe connect proalso, i got a trial dvd from adobe and it has all the tools (captivate, presenter etc) but not adobe connect prothe website points me to a hosted solution but what if i want to host it  in my own server ?thanks

Hi Everyone. I am trying to install and configue Adobe Connect 7.5 and I have problems doing so. The installer simply skips the DB installation steps and resumes the final Connect Pro installation. Due to this I am unable to set the SQL Server DB user and password that are prompted for, in the initial set up phase (this page pops up after the successful installation of Adobe Connect).Effectively, I am unable to use Connect Pro even though the installation is successful.Can you kindly help here? I am at my wits end.Best,Girish

Adobe support is the worst I have ever encountered.When I try  to phone them I am put on hold (the current record is 29 minutes!). I  thought customer service was there to help!I don't know if anyone else has  the same problem but here in the UK Adobe are charging the wrong tax  rate and despite the numerous attempts to resolve this issue so far ...  zip. When I get through to support they tell me all will be sorted out  in 24 hours. About an hour or so later I get an email telling me that my  issue has been resolved and the case closed ... I am ripping my hair  out with these guys.The VAT rate in the UK is 17.5% but Adobe are charging a  rate of 21% ?Wherever  you are in the world I suggest you check out what tax rates you are  being charged.C'mon  Adobe ... get your act together or I will be OUTTA HERE to a more  reliable server!

I guess i don't know the different between the two products. 🙂 We are running an Adobe Connect Enterprise Server. Greetings! My support group is currently working with several end-users of Adobe Connect Professional. These users are presenters and are encountering an issue whenever they try to start their Camera and Voice Pod. I've sent this up the chain towards Adobe on our end... but figured I'd make a post on the forums here to see if anyone else has been having this issue. I was able to find one mention of the error on some site that was all in Spanish... but that site was having timeout issues and I couldn't hack around them. (Plus my knowledge of tech -spanish is very limited) If the Acrobat Connect add-in is NOT installed on these users' PCs then they are able to use the Camera and Voice Pod without any issues. Hello,I need help to customize my account.I firts created a trial account and I was able to upload my company´s logo, change colors and so on...After the trial ended, we really liked the application and decided to buy it. I don´t know exactly what happened during the purchase process, but we couldn´t use the same account, so a new one was created. My problem is, when I login in the new account (trial has now been blokced, but can still be seen) I do not have the option to customize the account anymore! There isn´t such option in the administration tab.Any idea on why this is happening? How can I customize my account?thanks!

I have downloaded several add-ons from Adobe Connect Pro Exchange that I would like to use in my online classroom. I was able to download the mp3 player and it works just fine but when I went to download welcomemapV1.3.zip, timerpod.zip, and acp-meeting-bg.zip, I get a message that says "There was an error converting your file". Why can I download the mp3 player but not any of the others?

Do you know if there are known issues for viewing meetings via Citrix? Our users report that when they click on the meeting link from Outlook running via Citrix that they cannot connect. Thanks

I have a dynamically generated pfd. The content is set up for landscape but when I open it in the browser or in Acrobat it is a landscape document that is rendered in portrait. In acrobat I can go into view and tell it to be landscape, but when I save it, it reopens as portrait again. How can I take a pdf page that is in portrait and save it out so it opens up in landscape?

I'm trying to install the Add-in on one of my PCs so that I can share the screen. It asks me if I want to install the add-in but clicking on the Yes button (or the No button, for that matter) does nothing. I'm referring to the little pop-up dialog which says:To use this application, you need theAdobe Acrobat Connect Add-in. Wouldyou like to install it now?At that point, those buttons are dead. I tried tabbing through the buttons to select the Yes button and then pressing Space but that has no effect either. Tabbing does work to highlight the buttons, the "?" and the overal dialog but once the Yes or No button is highlighted there seems to be no way to select any of the buttons.I can right-click on the dialog and I get theSettingsAbout Adobe Flash Player 10menu. So I'm trying to find the location to add guests to a planned meeting. Unfortunately I can't find the area where I add the guests email address so that they get the invite.At the moment I have to send myself the meeting invite then forward this to the guest via regular email, and of course doing it this way they can enter directly and don't need to wait for my acceptance.Any help would be grateful, and could you also point me to the location in the PDF manual, it seems to be very lean.
