We should be able to enable automatic upgrades at the system level, not just at the user level. We need to keep everything updated, and are trying to use Remote Update Manager to apply minor updates, but upgrades should also be an option. This isn't an uncommon feature in other software. Not sure why this isn't already part of Creative Cloud Desktop.
The setup.exe bootstrap install should support a parameter that automatically removes older versions, like in an upgrade scenario, Photoshop 2022 to Photoshop 2023, for example.e.g.setup.exe --silent --removeoldversions
The RemoteUpdateManager.exe allows you to pass it proxyUsername and proxyPassword parameters, but doesn't allow you to pass it a proxy host/port. Adding --ProxyHost and --ProxyPort parameters would allow us to use an explicit proxy, rather than relying on the RUM exe to detect the proxy. We're in a highly locked down environment behind a firewall that does not support wildcarded URLs, so it's not possible for us to exclude *.adobe.com, for example, and allow this traffic to go direct. This issue came up during a support call. We use a proxy PAC file hosted on a remote web server and also specify the proxy using Netsh, but find that sometimes the Remote Update Manager will ignore these and attempt a direct connection, so this would solve this issue.

So I downloaded cc a week or so ago, launched it and installed a few programs and messed around with photoshop for a bit. But now when I try to open the desktop app it won't launch at all, I've tried running the program as the administrator and it still won't start. I've looked around at previous discussions and have tried following instructions, but the uninstalling program won't even launch at all either, I'm kinda stuck here for ideas.
Trying to work in Photoshop and keep getting a message:Can't open creative cloud on my laptop. Can't access it online.Any help appreciated.
Hi all,I've had a problem forever now, and just got around to deciding to try and fix it.Reinstalling the apps makes no difference, and this is affecting multiple appsThe issue is very simple: When I right-click the icon for Pr or Ae on my taskbar (W10), it comes up with a list of my recent files, including any I have pinned at the top. However, the most recent file... is not there.I open up Pr, and on the front screen, there are my recent files, and the one I worked on yesterday is at the top of the list. But not when I right-click on my taskbar icon.I create a new project, save it, close Pr. Check the taskbar, still nothing, neither the file I worked on yesterday, or the one I just created is there, only the ones I worked on before.Clearly there is some way to get entries onto the list because I have older files showing there, but never the actual most recent files.Tried contacting Adobe chat this morning who were next to useless and started to tell me I was using the wrong workflow,
I am trying to install Lightroom Classic on a Mac Mini, M1 running Max OS Ventura 13.2.1. Both the creative cloud and lightroom applications download but when I open either the following error messages appears: failed to start CoreSyncCould not create ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync I have given access permissions to both Lightroom and Creative Cloud apps under Privacy and Security settings but no effect. Apologies if this has been asked before but I have searched the forums without success. thanks in advanceMike
I have fixed this issue in the past by modifying the serviceconfig.xml file running Monterey, and any OS prior. Since upgrading to Ventura, the serviceconfig.xml file is no longer available. Anyone have a fix?
I would love to have the option inside Creative Cloud to completely disable any file sync whatsoever. And then be able to have a simple switch when creating a new Document (no matter if Photoshop, Lightroom, Acrobat, Premiere...) wich let's me activate sync for that document only. Because sometimes I Edit explicit content for either private or clients and neither me nor them want the files to be synced to any cloud. Not even when it's just temporary untill I manually uninstall them. And I'm talking about Desktop apps and Mobile apps like for Ipad. would really love to see that as otherwise I love Adobe Products but that is actually a key point for me.
Also without being asked if one really wants to exit.
Found an issue with the CC Desktop app, where the wrong version number is shown for an app. In the screenshot, CC shows I can open Lightroom Classic 12.1, when I have 12.0 actually installed. The 12.1 is the version of the available update. It seems to me that the version number shown in the CC app's left panel should be 12.0, corresponding to the installed version, and maybe below it could indicate something like "update available" or a button saying Update to v12.1. Screenshot attached.
I am a freelancer working for an organization. So am I allowed to use an individual plan or am I supposed to use a business plan?
FUTURA PT fonts will not install. Futura font was working ok few days ago, but not anymore. What is going on??
I purchased my Adobe CC subscription from a reseller in September 2022. Several times since then they changed my profile for no reason and the account trial timer was set up. I have asked them several times regarding this issue and they said that was their server issue and they were trying to solve it. For last 1 month, they have been non-responsive, they don't respond in messages, they don't pick up my phone calls and I am stuck with the trial ended profile unavle to work with Adobe Products. I have tried reaching Adobe Customer Call Centre, but they told me that they cannot take complain against reseller as they are the support team, they only can support regarding the applications, not the subscriptions.I am totally frustrated with this, either I want a refund for the remaining months of this subscription, or get untroubled experience with my account. I will not definitely renew my subscription with my current reseller.
As I like to keep things organised, I work with lots of drilldown folders. Navigating through those is just becoming a bit of a pain in the ass because:Navigating back can only be done in 2 clicksThere is no option to navigate forward at allThat's poor UX. I attached an example.
I purchased, downloaded, and installed Adobe Creative Suite 2023 on my MacBook Pro. I received the following alert when opening each software...Your Photoshop license has expired.Contact your IT administrator to maintain uninterrupted access to Photoshop. Is there a way to download the 2023 Build instead of the Cloud version?
I wanted to open creative cloud when I found the error page saying I need to reinstall it, so I did so. When I opened CC again, I found out that the same page just came back up. I kept reinstalling but that page kept coming up. Please help.
We have Creative Cloud 5.9.0.372 installed on several of our computers. The issue we are running into is Visual C++ 2012 gets installed on these devices when a user opens a piece of Creative Cloud software. The installation of Visual C++ 2012 is not ideal since this software has reached end of support as of January 10th and this puts our environment at risk. We are able to uninstall the Visual C++ 2012 software, but the next time the application is used by the user, the software is reinstalled.
I wanted to install Photoshop on my new computer VIA CC but it couldn't open as it was 'Damaged'. I followed the instructions and reinstalled CC but the same message appeared I kept trying again but failed as the same message appeared.
I recieved an email from Adobe Customer Research titleed "Earn money for offering your feedback to Adobe" Typed in my Birthday and my system shut down. Keith
Hi All,I'm currently experiencing the above issue when opening up CC or trying to access Photoshop on Mac. I have tried the solutions outlined in: https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/download-install/kb/adobe-sign-in-loop.html for both the 2019 or newer (see attached screenshot for error message) and 2019 or older CC versions with no success. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Trying to sign into my School account but keep getting the error: An error occurred SAML Response does not have Success status code. Please check the saml2p:Status element.tried everything and dont know what to do.
So I'm signed in through an organisation (university) and whatever solution I try (and I've tried pretty much everything I can think of and what I've seen on here) Creative Cloud is stuck on 'loading creative cloud' when I open it up. It has installed correctly (I think) and I've reinstalled it many times and even used the clean up tool to remove everything and start again. Interestingly, I thought I'd try to install it on my laptop (Macbook) through the same account and that is working completely fine. So it must be something to do with Windows 10 or something. I saw a guy find a solution where you change the name of a .dll file but that hasn't worked. My university don't know either... Any help?
