Digital Editions

On my e-Reader (Poketbook touch lux) is adobe digital editions allready installed, so I should be able to activate my books on the reader. When I open the acsm file it tells me that I have to activate my book. So I enter my Adobe ID and Password. Then he works a few moments and shows me this error:E_STREAM_ERROR CURL returned 6 (6)Does anyone know what I can do to be able avtivate my books on the e-reader?Regards

My Digital Editions refuses to start. So I uninstalled it and downloaded the latetst version. Same problem. Also tried running it as administrator. Same problem. This is the Window version running om Window 10 64.Any ideas?

I have trouble with authorization/deauthorization basically because of an old email address. ADE is authorized with the old email address but dont accept the psassword when I am trying deauthorization. When trying to change password Adobe tells me that my account doesen't exist and therefore not possible to change. What can I do?

I am totally new to this adobe reader software. Today has been frustrating because I bought a book through google play, and cannot move it to my e-reader because I can't seem to login to authorize the software. I tried my google ID and password because that's what I understood it to be but it does not accept that. Can anyone PLEASE help me?Thank youStacy

Ik heb een zakelijk Adobe-account. Nu heb ik Adobe Digital Editions op mijn Mac gedownload en geïnstalleerd. maar hij onthoudt alleen de studentenlicentie van 15 jaar geleden waarvan ik het wachtwoord niet meer heb en er is ook geen optie om het wachtwoord opnieuw op te vragen.Hoe los ik dit op? De Adobe-ondersteuning helpt niet. Ik kom hier gewoon niet verder...Een uur in de chat gezeten maar die kunnen ook niet helpen.Is er een manier om dit programma te verwijderen en dat er geen link meer is van een oud account en opniew te installeren? I have an Adobe business account. I'm running Windows 10. Adobe Digital Editions was working. Then I had a computer crash and now it won't even launch. I click on it and nothing happens.   I've tried restarting the computer.   I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Digital Editions. The reinstall appeared to be successful but it still won't start.

I'm trying to authorize my Kobo device that I just got but my laptop is too old to download adobe's digital reader so I did it on my ipad but I'm not seeing an option to authorize my iPad. Is there a way to do so on my ipad? 

Bonjour, Je viens d'acheter une Kobo, en remplacement de mon Kindle pour emprunter des livres à la bibliothèque. Je suis sur un imac version 2021, avec ios Sequoia 15.2 fraîchement installé. J'ai téléchargé ADE 4.5. Ma Kobo Libra color est bien connectée à l'ordinateur (il me demande si je veux la connecter). En revanche sur ADE, aucune reconnaissance de la Kobo ! J'ai tout essayé (desinstallation, reinstallation, changement de câble USB etc), rien à faire... J'ai lu sur le site d'une bibliothèque que le version 4.5 ne reconnaissait pas les Kobo, et qu'il fallait installer la version 3.0, mais qui n'est plus supportée depuis ios Catalina 10.5!!! Certains ont-ils eu le même problème sur mac avec une Kobo ?... Que faire ? Rendre cette nouvelle liseuse et retourner chez Amazon ?? Merci à vous

As other forums have mentioned, the link on your website (Adobe Digital Editions | Download ) leads to a part that says download 3.0 here, which leads to this Adobe Digital Editions downloads​ .A separate forum has the link to download it on a PC, but unfortunately none for Mac OsX 10 or above. Could you send a working link for this?Thank you.

I'm getting this error, trying to download the book I bought. Does anyone have the same problem? Other books are working properly, by the way. And there wasn't any issue just a few days ago.

Hello,I have just installed Adobe Digital Editions, and the arrow keys are not working at all. In other words, when I press the down, up, left or right arrow keys, nothing happens - no scrolling at all. I tried scrolling on a PDF e-book and a sample e-book, with the same result. This makes reading an e-book very difficult.What can I do to make my arrow keys work?Thanks very much.

According to the product descriptions and several FAQs I found, it is an alleged feature that when I download media and open it in Digital Editions on, say, my PC, it should sync to my Digital Editions (same ID) on other devices like my tab.I have 'auto-download' enabled. But this syncing doesn't seem to be happening. (Concrete example: I downloaded two library books to ADE on my PC with the same ID I use on my tab, but these books are not showing up on my tablet. The two books that are in my ADE library on the tab are also not showing up in the ADE library on my PC.) I also don't see any 'sync now' button or similar.What am I missing, why is this feature not working?

I suddenly cannot read ebooks from my Library on my Kobo Clara 2E. I download the book onto my Mac and then Adobe Digital Editions, transfer it to my Kobo and get the following message: Your eReader is not authorized to open this bookThis book is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM). Because you previously deauthorized your eReader, you need to re-import the book using Adobe Digital Editions (ADE). Please visit help.kobo.com for more information. I have tried de-authorizing and re-authorizing both my computer and Kobo, resetting my Kobo and starting again. I tried setting the "ebook vendor" to Adobe ID and I've also tried it with Overdrive, but neither of them work. I'm going around in circles and nothing is working and I am losing it! It worked before, and I can't figure out what I've done wrong to mess it up 😞 Help!

I've just downloaded Digital Editions, when I go to "Help" to pair with a vendor, the option to "Authorize Computer" is greyed out. Help?

Hello all,I have recently purchased a book that was provided w/ a .acsm link.I have installed the book and the formatting is terrible and makes it impossible to read.I have attempted to change the size of the text (doesn't work), I have authorized and de-authorized (doesn't work). Nothing seems to work and I reached out to Adobe who said they don't have anybody to help with ADE concerns. Anybody have a fix for this?

Still no fix for this? Since 2016? Pathetic.I see my new book on my PC, but not on my iPhone. Both devices autorised with a Z (no, that's not how to spell it), both signed into the same account. Jesus Christ, this is sh1t.
