Digital Editions

I'm getting this error, trying to download the book I bought. Does anyone have the same problem? Other books are working properly, by the way. And there wasn't any issue just a few days ago.

I can't open app to get my books for school. Can someone help?

Hello,I have just installed Adobe Digital Editions, and the arrow keys are not working at all. In other words, when I press the down, up, left or right arrow keys, nothing happens - no scrolling at all. I tried scrolling on a PDF e-book and a sample e-book, with the same result. This makes reading an e-book very difficult.What can I do to make my arrow keys work?Thanks very much.

According to the product descriptions and several FAQs I found, it is an alleged feature that when I download media and open it in Digital Editions on, say, my PC, it should sync to my Digital Editions (same ID) on other devices like my tab.I have 'auto-download' enabled. But this syncing doesn't seem to be happening. (Concrete example: I downloaded two library books to ADE on my PC with the same ID I use on my tab, but these books are not showing up on my tablet. The two books that are in my ADE library on the tab are also not showing up in the ADE library on my PC.) I also don't see any 'sync now' button or similar.What am I missing, why is this feature not working?

I suddenly cannot read ebooks from my Library on my Kobo Clara 2E. I download the book onto my Mac and then Adobe Digital Editions, transfer it to my Kobo and get the following message: Your eReader is not authorized to open this bookThis book is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM). Because you previously deauthorized your eReader, you need to re-import the book using Adobe Digital Editions (ADE). Please visit help.kobo.com for more information. I have tried de-authorizing and re-authorizing both my computer and Kobo, resetting my Kobo and starting again. I tried setting the "ebook vendor" to Adobe ID and I've also tried it with Overdrive, but neither of them work. I'm going around in circles and nothing is working and I am losing it! It worked before, and I can't figure out what I've done wrong to mess it up 😞 Help!

I've just downloaded Digital Editions, when I go to "Help" to pair with a vendor, the option to "Authorize Computer" is greyed out. Help?

Hello all,I have recently purchased a book that was provided w/ a .acsm link.I have installed the book and the formatting is terrible and makes it impossible to read.I have attempted to change the size of the text (doesn't work), I have authorized and de-authorized (doesn't work). Nothing seems to work and I reached out to Adobe who said they don't have anybody to help with ADE concerns. Anybody have a fix for this?

Still no fix for this? Since 2016? Pathetic.I see my new book on my PC, but not on my iPhone. Both devices autorised with a Z (no, that's not how to spell it), both signed into the same account. Jesus Christ, this is sh1t.

I receive the following error "E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS" when I want to read a new e-book. I only use 1 device, so I don't understand why there are too many activations..Can this be solved? Or do I need to remove my account and then create a new one ?

Hi I cannot read an acsm file on my ipad. It comes out virtually invisible and the app won't execute any of the commands (go to, show contents). This is very frustrating as it is a document I need for work.

  Hello,My name is George and I was sent a link to an ebook from a professor. I was able to download it and get in on to digital editions without having to authorize it on my computer. When I was trying to get it on my cell phone digital editions app, it asks for me to authorize . Then it prompts me to create an account and then says to use my school account. However after this step it doesn't prompt to authorize anymore but just keep me on the adobe.com website within my UNCW account. I think if I can authorize the book I should be good but can't figure it out. Do you have any suggestions?V/r,George          

I need to renew my Adobe-ID for authorisation of my ADE to be able to read my library books. How, where, what!!!! Nothing seems to work.

Hi, I'd like to transfer ebooks from my tablet to my Kobo ereader to avoid taking my PC with my during holiday. Is this possible? Can I put Adobe Digital Editions on my tablet? Or can I use other systems? Thanks! 

Hello, although my computer is authorized to read content through ADE, when I try to open E-Books I get the 'Error.  Check Activation" message.  I have seen online that erasing authorization and reauthorizing is one solution, but I'm not sure what to enter for VendorID and password.  Is there a way to recover this information?  Are there other solutions here?Best,Ryan

Hi, I cannot download anymore a  book from the public library on my PC , exactly like past post from " mariann38461955 New Here , Mar 23, 2019" with the difference that she uses a Mac and I have a Lenovo PC with Windows 10, (and Adobe 3.0 as she does, with the exact same message displayed)

Every time I click a link in an app other than my browser, I expect it to take me back to my browser (chrome) and it instead opens Adobe Acrobat. I've reset all default apps for file types, all it should be doing is opening PDFs. When a link leads to Acrobat, it will try to 'open' the file type then give me an error. I uninstalled Acrobat and then links don't open at all from Discord/etc. Any suggestions are appreciated, as I want Acrobat available and installed on my computer without running into this annoying and completely avoidable issue.
