Digital Editions

Hi.I just downloaded Digital Editions. Needed to activate my computer and login with my Adobe ID. It was unable to active because of the error: E_ADEPT_RESET_PW_REQUIRED. So i changed my Adobe ID password and still got this error.Can anyone help me solve this problem? Would love to add books with DRM on my ereader. Thanks in advance. 

I have adobe drm on my laptop but wan't to change the autorisation to another mail. I only lost the passwordn form my old autorisation and creating a new account couldn’t fix this. Hao can i erase my autorisation 

Hello,I want to transfer my ADE account to ByteBooks. However, when I try to create the ByteBooks account, it says there is no ADE account with that e-mail address. I have copied the e-mail address directly from my ADE, so there cannot be a spelling error (and I used my ADE credentials to log in here).The customer support started out answering very quickly (and suggesting to recheck the e-mail address) but now they are ghosting me. I have not gotten any reply in over one week.Anyone else have that problem? Any solutions?Anyone else know how to get any response from ByteBooks?

Okay I accept the fact that autorship and intellectual property has to be protected, but when purchasing ebooks gets you into Adobe DRM trouble, the fun get less more funny very quickly… When I try to activate my ADOBE DRM account on my pocketbook it miserbaly keeps failing, its quite embarrising… (feels like shittification hell and I am more and more annoyed by it!) 🤔So what do you suggest me how to achieve setting up Adobe DRM on my pocketbook?

I've seen a few older threads on this, but none of those solutions are working for me so I figured I'd post. My Adobe Digital Editions (4.5) will no longer open on my work laptop running (Windows 10 Pro). Solutions I've tried from other threads:-Uninstalling/reinstalling -Running as administrator-Renaming the My Digital Editions Folder-Deleting the My Digital Editions Folder-Installing the program to Program Files instead of Program Files (x86)-Renaming/creating a new folder within Program Files to install to-Downloading an older edition (I could not find a non-sketchy link to 3.0, but I found a 4.0 and had no better luck with it) When I click the icon, it literally does nothing. Not even an error or opening a blank screen. It does not show that the program is running (I'd seen some people suggest their problem was that the app was open but running in a disconnected second monitor screen. I've never connected this laptop to a second monitor, but task manager doesn't show

Dear Adobe Support,I am experiencing an issue with Adobe DRM that prevents me from reading DRM-protected eBooks.I recently created an Adobe account and I can successfully sign in to account.adobe.com using my email address and password without any problems. However, I cannot authorize either Adobe Digital Editions or my PocketBook e-reader with the same credentials.Here is what happens:I downloaded and installed Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 on my Windows PC. When I try to authorize my computer using Adobe ID as the eBook provider, ADE displays the error:"Incorrect ID/password for this eBook vendor." I have verified multiple times that my email address and password are correct because I can log in successfully at account.adobe.com. I have already reset my password, but the problem persists. I have tried both a personal Gmail account and a school email account. The exact same problem occurs with both accounts. I also tried authorizing my PocketBook PB619 (Verse) directly with the same Adob

When I try and log into Adobe Digital Editions it tells me "Incorrect login ID or password for the selected eBook Vendor. Please try again." Meanwhile I am selecting Adobe ID and entering in my user name and password that grants me access to Adobe Creative Cloud. Any ideas?

Buon pomeriggio, ho scaricate ADE nel mio computer. Ho eseguito il download di diversi ebook per il mio kobo. Non mi da la possibilità di autorizzare il dispositivo per la lettura degli ebook, in quanto segna come errate le credenziali. Queste però ho la certezza che siano giuste in quanto mi consentono di eseguire l'accesso dal sito di Adobe Digital Editions. Attendo un vostro cortese riscontro. Grazie

I purchased a book from Christian Book Distributors and downloaded it from them as an acsm file. When I attempt to add the book to my Adobe Digital Editions library I get this error: “Unable to download. Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER”.It appears that there is a problem with the license. What can I do to get it loaded into ADE?

I have logged out and into Google several times using my password and ID.  But ADE tells me that ID and Password are wrong over and over again.  What do I do?  

Sintetizzo un processo già iniziato parecchie settimane fa e premettendo di avere anche consultato, al presentarsi del problema, la Community per vedere se altri avevano avuto la stessa difficoltà, per cui ho seguito anche i loro consigli.ADE non funzionava più con Windows 10 e ho contattato l’Assistenza via chat che mi ha consigliato di provare quanto si vede in allegato (è una mail che mi hanno inviato dall’Assistenza stessa), cosa che ho fatto - sono passato a Windows 11 e provato a installare di nuovo il programma sia versione 4.5.12, che 4.5.11, che ancora precedente 3.0, sempre prima seguendo le istruzioni dell’Assistenza sopra citate, ma tuttora non riesco ad accedere, perchè il PC rimane in fase di “caricamento libreria in corso...” (vedi altro allegato) che non si chiude se non in fase di arresto del PC.Infine, ieri ho chiamato il numero verde Assistenza Adobe 800.919.208 dal quale mi hanno risposto che loro non forniscono più info su ADE, ma che devo rivolgermi solo alla Comm

Hello everyone!I’m desparate for help.I bought a licensed book and it doesn’t open on my laptop. I contacted the bookstore and it is clear that the problem is with Adobe. This is the error I’m getting:error I’ve downloaded another program Pocketbook but while trying to login in adobe acount there it gives error “user activation fail”.I’m logged in to my Adobe account, email is the same, I don’t understand how do I fix that. Adobe digital 4.5 blijft hangen tijdens kopieren van boeken naar KOBO reader; boek wordt wel naar KOBO gekopieerd maar Adobe moet steeds geforceerd gestopt worden…wat kan ik doen? Ik had eerder nooit geen problemen met AdobeIk heb nu wel een Macbook waar ik de nieuwe versie van Adobe op geinstalleerd heb

I recently purchased a new HP Pavilion Windows 11 Home desktop. I downloaded the ADE 4.5 software.  I am able to download the books, which are in the .acsm file format. However, once I download the books, I cannot open them, the menu on ADE does not work at all, and I can't even close the software unless I use Task Manager to end the task. After using Task Manager, I reopen the ADE software but the books do not show in the Library, so I have to redownload them but then the ADE software freezes again. I have taken the following steps: *Deauthorized the ADE from my previous Windows 10 computer and authorized my  Windows 11 computer with Adobe ID.*Uninstalled and reinstalled the ADE software four times*Checked to ensure that ADE is the default app for .acsm files I have been trying to read Freading books from my library, but I am at a loss at what to do. Can someone help me with this issue? Thank you.

I am from Hong Kong. As indicated by Adobe, the ebook service will transition to Bytebooks. However when I tried to logon to Bytebooks website, it show nothing but a blank page. I have sent email to Wipro support email address provided by Adobe, but no response received. Today when I try to logon again, I got the message as attached.  It is all normal when the ebook service under Adobe directly, if it transfer to Bytebooks and users from certain countries or regions that are used to be able to connect are now blocked and unable to use the service, what can user do, especially if Wipro didn’t give a single reply.  Thank you.
