I have the latest version of the Surface Pro series and I see the i7 has Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 (which is a more updated version of the requirements for Dimensions), yet every time I try and open up Dimension the system says I do not have the proper system requirements. Anything you can do to help would be awesome. I have searched the forums, and I did not see the proper fix for the SP 2017. Thanks!
Hello everyone. I know this has been asked before, but some time has gone and maybe this has changed by the way. Does dimension allow modelling now?Latest update is in 2017 on the product page.Didn't it get updated lately? Thanks for help.
Hi folks,Has anyone at all been able to render a decal on a disk correctly? I've tested all the models on Adobe Stock with disks and none of them work with decals.I either get an error message that the model dose't work with decals, or this attached warped thing. In the picture there's a cylinder with the default decal, and a disk with the default decal, but warping.I would live to use this application for doing quick product renders, but there just doesn't seem to be the infrastructure behind it.I don't suppose i'm doing something wrong, or there's a way around this?
Hi,I have a Windows PC with: cpu i5-7400 and 8gb of ram, my brother can give me an AMD hd 7870 but to istall it i need to buy a new power supply, but before to spend money on a new power supply i want to know, adobe dimension would work with the AMD hd 7870?
I've read some other posts about incompatibility with Dimension working on certain systems but I don't have a mac and my system is identical to my boss and he was able to install and run it. I get an error message stating my system doesn't meet the system requirements but I've checked best I can and this system meets the requirements on the requirements page of the software. Is there another issue that could cause this? BTW the FAQ and Help link for this forum does not work.Win 10 ProAMD FX 8-core Processor 3.10 GHz16GB ram64-bit Operating SystemATI Radeon 3000 GraphicsThanks
I have a new Lenovo Ideapad320 which has an AMD A12, 7th Gen, 8 gb RAM, and Radeon R7 graphics. The first time I was able to open Dimemsion and work with it for a little bit with no real issues. Since then have not been able to open - says system is not compatible. Please help.
Hi,I am trying for the first time to render a very simple setting, but nothing has happened since 40 minutes. My specs:Intel Core I5 3.3 Ghz8GB DDR3Geforce GTX 960I seem to comply the minimum requirements, any suggestions? I know rendering can be slow but for only 4 planes, I guess thats still too slow.. Would it help a lot to increase the memory to 16GB?Greetings from Germany,Daniela
Heya there folks,Adobe's been a bit light on the details for hardware requirements...Has anyone tried a Quadro or FirePro / Radeon Pro with Dimension? Is it better than an Geforce / Radeon? (Given there is no mention of anything AMD in the specs, I fear they aren't allowed at all...)Also - A little frustrating to see the hardware specs are years out of date... GTX 770? That's a graphics card from 2013.And an Iris 580 is leagues behind a GTX horsepower wise, but still okay?As I need to get a low profile graphics card, I am not sure which way to go... And worry I will splash out £170 on a GTX 1050Ti , but don't know if its any good or not.Or do I go £350 for a Quadro K1200?RegardsJules
Adobe Dimension is saying this(see attached) but my computer has the spec to support it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalled. Also, have updated all window apps- Intel Core i7 - 7660U CPU @ 2.50GHz- RAM 16- Windows 10 x64

Hello,I am having an issue where any glass objects appear very dark or black on white backgrounds... I have searched everywhere and tried everything to fix the issue, but the only way to somewhat fix the problem is to set the light intensity way too high, drowning out every other aspect. Is this a problem with the application, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks!Sam

Hi Everyone,Adobe Dimension does not run on Microsoft Surface Pro 4. I have found that the graphics card on even the highest spec version available is still one version previous to the minimum requirements for this software. This is extremely disappointing and I would like to see Adobe come up with a workaround for this. It's completely ridiculous that it won't run on Microsoft's flagship laptops that are made for graphics programs. My surface is only ONE YEAR OLD!Specs: Intel Core i7-6650U CPU 2.20GHz 2.21GHz, 16GB RAM, 64-bit OS, x64-based processor, 1TB SSD***Any Adobe support people with a workaround or fix for this I would greatly appreciate a response!***
Is there a way to run Dimension CC running in MacBook Air 11" with 4 GBytes RAM? I know the memory requirement is 8 GBytes of RAM, but I was wondering if by connecting an external hard disk (as virtual memory) I could overcome the memory requirement.
Hi all,I have one question...We work with Marvelous Designer, a 3D pattern maker for clothing wear.So when I export the OBJ I have this window, that have also "Unify Coordinate UV"But if I export with this option on and also off the error is:We have detected that the model has out of bound UVs. Out of bound UVs may affect the way materials and graphics are applied to the model. For ideal results ensure all UVs are in the 0-1 space. So anyone can help me? I think that this software is very interesting and we want support and make some renders with it, but at now we are blocked with this error.Thank you for the support
Hello, first of all sorry about my bad english.I've looked for the requirement and other threads but i didn't find my answer.I've recently updated my mac, added memory (now 16g) and freed a lot of space, I also have a 2 GHz Intel Core i7 and MD Radeon HD 6490M 256 Mo so it should be alright. However maybe the problem come from my VRAM but i can't find where to look how i've got because i really want to use Dimension for my works and i consider adding VRAM to my computer if needed. What should i do ? Can i virtually add more VRAM using my available RAM ?
Hi all,I'm trying to generate a white porcelain cup (The 3de model has been loaded from the Adobe Stock cups). When I import the 3d object and place it on my background it appears a muddy brown. So i tried to click on the base colour and set that to white. Then added my transparent decal and rendered. Muddy brown was the result. So i tried again and added a white plastic material to the cup, but again this stayed a brown colour. When I rendered on Medium that is what I got too.Can anyone suggest a simple way of getting a white porcelain cup? Thanks,Sam
posted here because the bug report forum can't take images... issue = Dimension 101 icon is buggeredQ = how many people with this bug are on 2 or more displays?image 1 = taken last week... note the left display icon is buggeredimage 2 = taken today after allowing Microsoft update to current version... note the left display is blank because I'm testing an idea but taskbar still shows the bug and updating had no effect one way or the otherimage 3 = removed the icon image to blankimage 4 = replaced icon image with one from the default listimage 5 = note the left display icon is now the replaced one... the right (main display still shows the correct Dimension icon as it always has)imo Windows build has nothing to do with this bug
Hi, When render at certain angles I get these "tears" in the render, this jagged pixelated area the arrow is pointing to. This is using Dimension's silver material. Whats causing this and how do I fix it?
Hello, I am trying to import four 3d models that I created, into a scene. They are .obj files. I'll import the first one, then use the F key to fit it to the scene. When I import the second one, then press the F key, the first one disappears. I think it is still in the scene somewhere, but I can't find it. How can I import and fit more than one 3D model into a scene? Thanks everyone!MattiMac late 2012OSX 10.13.3Dimension 1.0.1
Good day Adobe teamWith our educ lab environment, we are currently using serial based licensing for adobe CC application.our problem with adobe dimension and CC is not available for serial based lic.Do you have any solution for this?Thank you
I have a hi-resolution transparent PNG of a design. I want it to appear as if it is floating by itself instead of on a surface. Initially, I placed it on a plane that had a glass texture applied. However, the glass shows reflections and refractions. I'd like the decal to cast shadows based on its shape and contours. I just don't want any material of the plane to be visible at all.Open to suggestions.
I realize you can get more materials and lights from Adobe Stock, but what are the specs for creating your own?
I see shadows in the main viewport. When I rotate my light, they rotate accordingly. However, shadows aren't appearing at all on surfaces in the render preview or on final render.Any ideas?
I just purchased a 3D model from TurboSquid of a a beauty tube. cosmetic bottle 3d max I placed it in an environment in Dimension and attempted to just place a logo on it and it gave me an error "Something went wrong during graphic placement. The decal will be removed.". This is extremely frustrating. I read somewhere about certain models not having some kind of UV setting which doesn't allow placing of decals. Wish I would have known that going into it and saved me $10.Please fix this issue and Dimension will be my go-to 3D rendering software.
