Download & Install

I have Lightroom 6 on my 2010 Macbook Pro (High Sierra). I just got a 2021 Macbook Pro with the Max chip. I used Migration Assistant to transfer my programs over. I opened Lightroom 6. When I did so, it had a pop up message about how I needed to download some other software to make things compatible or something - I unfortunately don't really remember what it said exactly and can't replicate it. I clicked yes. Then I started getting these "ReceiverHelp will damage your computer" and similar error messages. I think it had to do with Cisco, but not sure. I deleted the files. Then when I tried to open Lightroom 6, it displays the splash screen for less then a second, then closes. I really really want to be able to use this software on the new laptop. Any help? (Note I also posted this elsewhere.) I'm in the process of upgrading from MacOS Mojave to Maverek, but before doing so I wanted to create a virtual machine (running Mojave) to have continued access to the Lightroom catalog I have (just over 100,000 images).  I created the virtual machine, installed CS6 (Photoshop) and went to install Lightroom 6.  I was advised mine was an upgrade and it could not find a previous version.  I installed Lightroom 5 - everything went fine, and then proceeded to install Lightroom 6.  With Lightroom 6, I get stuck at:  Serial Number Validation Please connect to the internet to validate your serial number.When I start Lightroom I get:  Sign In Required:  this works fine.Next:  Access License Agreement:  OKNext: Serial Number Validation: never able to validate?? I checked access to the activatin servers and everything checks out, but I cannot get passed the Serial Number Validation screen. Careeese said: in terms of activation number you're

Hello,  My hard drive got wiped and I'm unable to reinstall Adobe Creative Cloud onto my computer. Lightroom is working fine but whenever I try to reinstall Photoshop or Lightroom Classic the installer won't open and no action happens. 

I've tried every solution including:1) Running Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool (and removing everything)2) Repairing Creative Cloud with uninstaller3) Restart PC4) Using an outdated standalone installer (Got stuck aswell)5) Installing Creative Cloud on a different user (administrator)6) Removing everything Adobe related:C:/Program Files, C:/Program Files (x86), AppData/Local, AppData/Roaming, C:/Program Files (x86)/Common FilesThis issue also happens with every Creative Cloud app, and Creative Cloud gets stuck on updating (and "Getting storage information")

Dear All, I have acquired in May 2021 an old "Adobe CS6 Design and Web Premium Ret" version with CD and box (on eBay) - of course quite expensive. The serial number was registered to my Adobe account by an Adobe Employee in May via the Adobe Support. I have installed it on my two computers and use it only on one, as per license, although not very often. Now when I am starting the software (Nov 2021) I suddently become a message that that software is not genuine and that I have 10 days interval to take action and accept some of the Adobe offers. Chatting to Adobe they mention that mine is a volume license which is not supposed to be used and it was deactivated due to fraud. Question: can someone safely mentione that this is a volume license instead of a retail license? It seems strange that Adobe has not mentioned it when they initially registered the product and that there is a discrepancy only now. The CD and small box seem genuine and not forged. I have the same problem. I didn't migrate anything but did a fresh install. I'm on a M1 Max with Monterey (12.0.1) - sync doesn't work- managed to install Photoshop & Indesign, but can't install Illustrator- the official uninstaller doesn't run, neither the one included in the CC utils folder, nor the one I downloaded- the log tool & CC Cleaner tools crash on launch What now Adobe? 

I am trying to update the creative cloud from 5.6.0617 to 5.6.0.788. Automatic update to the latest version does not happen. I have tried going to help>check for updates but it says "you're up to date." I then download the Creative_Cloud_Set-Up.exe, run as admin, and check the version but it still says 5.6.0617. Curious what would cause the creative cloud to not be updated. I have logged out of the creative cloud and have done a restart. But the version does not change. Sur un vieux ordinateur que je souhaite donner à ma fille, j'aimerais désinstaller les applications de Creative Cloud (Illustrator,...) car elles sont déjà installées sur mon nouveau ordinateur. Mon problème est que si je désinsalle sur l'ancien, j'ai peur de les désinstaller sur le nouveau car quand je demande à le faire, on me renvoit sur ma page de compte Creative Cloud. Je ne veux pas supprimer de façon permanente ces applications car j'en ai besoin sur mon nouveau ordinateur. Comment faire alors? Merci pour votre réponse.

I just started a 7 day trial of Adobe XD and it won't install. It gives this message. The application “XD Installer” can’t be opened. I am on a new MacBook Pro with M1 Max and Monterrey. Can anyone help? Mike    

Hallo zusammen,bei der Installation von CC 21 wurde ich gefragt, ob ich die alte Version löschen will. Ich habe auf ja geklickt. Nun ist mir aber aufgefallen, dass in den AppDatas bei den Roaming Dateien noch die Version 2020, die Version 2021 und ebenso die alte Version von der Bridge vorhanden sind. Bitte können bzw. sollen diese gelöscht werden und zwar deinstallieren oder mit der Systemsteuerung? Die Ordner haben im übrigen jeweils über 2 GB.Danke für Eure Antwort und mfG Marianne

Hi,I've just purchased a new PC with clean Win 10 installation.After completing the Creative Cloud desktop application installation it starts the automatic update process that reaches 30% and stacks there.I tried to uninstall the Creative Cloud desktop application and reinstall it back but it didn't help.Then I uninstalled it and installed Photoshop using the Photoshop Installer (without installing Creative Cloud application first). In this case, the Photoshop was downloaded and installed successfully, as well as Creative Cloud desktop application. The update process in Creative Cloud application then started and reached 91%.I tried to uninstall Adobe products using the Adobe Cleaner tool and remove all the related files and folders but got the same results as above.This is clean Win 10 pro installation and I didn't install any antivirus or firewall yet.Any help will be highly appreciated!

Hello,Last week I got latest versions of Lightroom and Photoshop using Creative Cloud app.At the end of the week I had to restore windows because of an issue with my graphic tablet.Now when I start Creative Cloud app, it is displayed there is no update for Lightroom and Photoshop although there are in an older version due to the windows restoration.How can I get the latest versions ?Thaks for you help.Regards

sorry if i am a bit rude now, but i am realy pissed off.. downloadprograms never been seriously and never worked well as a download in a browser... so i try since houres to install the creativ cloud and get allways the message "no connection to creativ server" the status page say the server is online and my internet also is well so whats happend.. i need to work not to wait this fffff download works

When using Adobe Portfolio text boxes there is always loads of excess space after the last line of type. I have looked in the text box settings and online for a solution but can't seem to find a way to remove the excess space. Is there a way to remove the space so that the gap between the last line of type and the bottom of the web page isn't so large? 

I am hoping that someone can help me on this forum because Chat Support couldn't solve the problem. I tried to re-install CS6 Design standard from the DVD I bought years ago on an older Mac with OS 10.11.6I did this because I need an older program that isn't supported anymore on the new versions that I normally use. When I launch Photoshop, the application manager is activated and tries to validate my serial number. Then I get a window saying that I must be online. So it thinks I'm offline but I am not.  The links in the window are going nowhere. I contacted Adobe and they sent me an email with instructions. I followed them all but with no result. - I have access tot the Adobe activation servers.
