Dreamweaver

My copy of Dreamweaver CS6 was registered with Adobe in 2014.I am retired and cannot easily afford a continual subscription to a more modern version of Dreamweaver.How do I enable my copy again?Thanking you in advance for your help.(Note, in the list of cartegories below, I cannot display ‘Dreamweaver’, only the word ‘Questions’ which appears just below the word  ‘Dreamweaver’)

Dreamweaver was working just fine until three days ago. Unable to quit, re-open app, open saved HTML file, or UNINSTALL Dreamweaver using Adobe Uninstaller, in order to reinstall this app. It is Frozen but nothing has changed on my system. When I tried to uninstall, the error message was regarding complications - unable to uninstall due to unsaved files (?) - all my files were saved as far as I recall.No idea what to try - no response whatsoever. It’s STUCK and so am I.Should I try another uninstaller (CleanMyMacX)?Suggestions, please.

HiIt appears that its not possible to contact the well known developer of dreamweaver extensions, project Seven (PVII) as their website says "Err_Connection_refused" and their support email address bounces back. Does anyone on here know if they are no longer in business? (were certainly still active earlier this year)Thanks

I’m using Dreamweaver 21.7 to edit a few files outside of my Wordpress site, like the styles.css and php files. I have fresh install. DS randomly crashes and closes while I’m editing. I can go 5-10 minutes, sometimes make a few saves and uploading the changed file (sometimes not) before DW just quits on me and closes down in the middle of a text edit. This is on Windows 11 pro, all up-to-date. How can I figure out what is  happening?

I cannot get my properties panel to appear no matter what I attempt to do. (Ctrl f3 etc.) In the Window dropdown menu it is checked, but not visible. Has anybody had this issue before? How did you resolve this?

 On the Products page says “This serial number is already in use.”  On checking ‘Activated products’, it says “You have no activated devices” .  Following the instructions on the ‘Activate an app’ page, I return to my copy of DWR CS6.   As you can see, the app believes it is activated (“Deactivated” is greyed out.)  In order to deactivate the app, I need to “Sign in if prompted” and “Go to Help > Sign Out.” I do not have the dropdown menu that is being shown on the Adobe Help page https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/apps/licensing-activation/activate-deactivate-apps/deactivate-adobe-app.html. ​​​​​​ Please advise how I can resolve this contradictory situation. Thank you for your help and advice.  

I just upgraded to DreamWeaver 21.8. I am on macOS 26.5.1 Tahoe.I work in Split View with Code-Live View.Sometimes when I click on a line with a link in the Live View, instead of taking me to the spot in the Code with that link, it suddenly replaces my page with the code from the website that is used in the link. The only way I can go back to my code is to close the file and reopen it, which means I lose any unsaved changes.According to a Google site, I can stop this from happening by going to View > Live View Options and turn off any options that refer to following links. They are both already unchecked already!How do I make this stop? It is driving me insane.Please advise.Thank you.

How to download and install adobe dreamweaver cs6 ?(Full process)

 All my web pages (which is a blog with images) have shifted left, leaving a huge blank space on the right. It seems to be ok when viewed on a cell phone, but on laptops and computers, everything has shifted to the left. How do I get it back to the way it use to be? It's happening even on old pages that I developed years ago.

We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit org, No Person Left Behind.org, and we need your help to learn how to update our website with DW 21.7 and add some new features that have been requested.We started back in 2005 with our website using Windows FrontPage. Then, when it was dropped, we moved to Windows Expression.  We currently have one sub-website using Expressions 4 and the other using DW5/6, both on Windows 10 Pro. till win 10 Pro end of life. We tried to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro, but the software would not work on our system, so like many others, we had to buy a new desktop and reinstall all the software.  A lot of my Windows Office software would not work on Windows 11 Pro, so I installed Office 365 and Creative Cloud Pro, which included DW 21.7.Now the issue: I'm very old-school, need some help with our website, and am also learning how to use DW 21.7.    Your help would be greatly appreciated so very much Ms. LindaExecutive DirectorNo Person Left Behind.org

Noting the absence of Dreamweaver 21.4 in the current list of Adobe apps supporting Sequoia. macos-sequoia-compatibility-common-issues  Has anybody run into significant issues of Dreamweaver on macOS 15 Sequoia? (I'm reminded of the Muse / TypeKit fail....)

I need to delete a misspelling from my Dreamweaver dictionary.

Every time I open a page in code view the font is a different size. Sometimes they are microscopic, sometimes they are huge. I've reset the font size in Preferences about a hundred times but the font size lucky dip keeps happening.Is there any way to get Dreamwever to just display every page at the font size that I've set in the preferences instead of displaying every page at a random font size ?

This has just started to happen, but not on every page.I create a new page (copy existing page in same folder and the edit with new information etc)  and when finished I check that it looks and works by using the Open in Browser command. Some pages as I have mentioned open fully but some look as if the CSS has been left out or is pointing to the wrong folder. I have checked that pages have the correct CSS which they do. I have attached some examples of the issue. When I check other pages that link the pages that don’t open directly from the Open in Browser do work as expected.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a vague memory from year ago that there was a way to have my interior part of the page pull in an htm, but I'm not sure if it's my imagination or not. I WAS able to make an htm/html that worked from the YouTube. I'm using Dreamweaver 21.4 and Windows 10.

I've bought the monthly subscription of Dreamweaver and have downloaded the newest version (Dreamweaver 2020). Is there a way I can get the older version ( CS6) either with the new version or to replace it.

All of a sudden, Dreamweaver is not working properly.  First, I stopped getting the breadcrumb linked files that are attached to html files to easily navigate to them.  I now have to load them individually in dreamweaver.  Second, my browser previews no longer work in any browser.  Third, now I can’t make new html files.  There is nothing listed in the framework.  I have restarted my computer, deleted preferences, even uninstalled and re-installed the application several times.  Does anyone have a solution to this.  I’m using the most current Dreamweaver version available, 21.7 build 15757.

On my PC and work laptop Dreamweaver is freezing and crashing everyday since this last update, it is very annoying. Please fix this bug.

Hello: My main reason for having the artworks on the left and the text on the right is that I wanted them to collapse, having the text below the images. It works great. However, is there a media query I can apply to have it alternate (image - text to text - image and vice versa) with the same effect?  matthewjablonski.com Matthew  

The code editor in DW 21.2 has messed up drag and drop to the point where you can no longer see where the drag is going to be dropped. Up to now, a ghost edit-point cursor has shown exactly where it was going (although it was sometimes hard to see). Now it appears if there is some sort of weird icon near the mouse arrow, but NO indication of where the paste is occurring. This will force me to use an external text editor, which is just another painful step in doing my work. Don't get me wrong, external text editors are great but taking the time to force the external editor every time I want to edit a file is ridiculous. Alternately, I will have to cut/paste each move, now that drag and drop is not controllable any more. Please, undo this "improvement"!
