Photoshop already has a powerful remove tool and it can already automate the removal of people, wires, and other distractions, but why can't it remove dust, dirt, and scratches? I'm primarily work with film and other analog media and dust is the bane of my existence. I would love to have this automated feature added to photoshop.
very simple and i have no idea why this isnt already a thing, premiere pro can do it yet the motion graphics software that actually requires it doesnt? if im using the rule of thirds i also need to make sure i dont go out the safe margins
As an experienced video editor, I find myself constantly using the Pitch Shifter tool in Effects > Audio Effects > Time & Pitch > Pitch Shifter. I can't be the only person who needs to change audio pitch when experimenting with sound effects or dialogue, and I'm surprised this tool wasn't included in the Essential Sound panel at launch, especially over tools like Reverb. It's also odd that Reverb is the only effect available to toggle in the Creative dropdown, as if more were intended to be there since the tab is labeled “Creative.” I think the Pitch Shifter effect would make a lot of sense in this tab and help the Reverb toggle feel less isolated.
FIX THIS!1. Photoshop switches to Path mode automatically if…You click on the canvas with the Rectangle Tool without dragging.A single click with a shape tool brings up the Create Vector Shape dialog in older versions. In recent versions, it silently flips the mode to Path and inserts a path box. This is the number one cause.
In lightroom classic you can use auto-sync to edit mulitple photos in your film strip. This is hugely advantageous to start broad-stroke edits across multiple photos to confirm your profile and edits work for a variety of lighting situations. Being able to do this in lightroom cloud would be great. Currently, you'd have to copy settings, paste settings, and then each time you adjust something like exposure you have to copy settings and paste settings again.
When relocating the files after baking it is a bot irritating if you have to work on Windows as well as on macOS that the buttons to link the file as a “regular source” or as a “template” are on the oppsite positons on the respective OS. Windows has the “Link as regular resource” on the right side as opposed to macOS which has it on the left side of the pop up window. Is it possible to have that on the same position on both version of the OS.
It would be useful to be able to save a project in Read-Only mode, so that it stays that way when opened in the future. Without having to remember to manually click the writable/read-only toggle right after opening it. I often need to access and copy clips and stuff from old projects, and don't want to accidentally change something in a finalized project. Especially if I have multiple projects open, I might not realize I'm in the wrong project's project panel when importing files and such. The only current somewhat alternative is locking all the tracks on my sequence(s), but that doesn't allow selecting clips in a sequence to be able to copy them for example, therefore requiring unlocking and re-locking them. I suppose I could mark the file as read-only in Windows which works, though I'm not sure if there are cases that attribute might be lost when moving files between file systems, cloud syncing, etc.
In a Premiere Team project I can invite other editors from all over the world. It would be nice to have a Premiere Production have the same collaboration benefits, where the Production project is saved in Adobe Cloud, and synced with invited users. But since I currently work on a massive project I organize the project in a Premiere Production project. For myself, that works out very well.At the moment I need some other people to work on the project as well. In a Premiere Production that's not (yet) possible. It is, but I read that it's not too stable. I would simply copy the entire project to a large (transport) drive and ship it to the collaborator. The collaborator will just copy the files to his system. We set up some kind of sync process to sync new files in the future.I would add the collaborator to my Production Project. The collaborator will probably have to re-link some files, to have his projects refer to his local files, while my file references are referencing my local files. From there on, things will work the same way as if another editor works on a Prodcution Project on my shared network. A work around could be to add some sort of VPN. But in my experience that's quite a hassle to get it working right. Especially when the people involved are not IT nerds. There could also be a security risk, when using a VPN. I would not like every collaborator to just connect to my network.
