When you perform a Lr search against "All Searchable Metadata" it appears to only search within the IPTC Core fields. Is it possible to search within the IPTC Extension fields?
Die Vorschaubilder für Effekte müsste man sich zusätzlich in groß anschauen können, z.B. nach druck auf ein Info-icon.
Productions workflow offers many advantages, but still has a long way to go, and simply is overly complicated, or comes up short in a lot of ways versus using just one Project File per project. One simple feature I'd like to see in Productions is the following: In a regular project file, if you click on a piece of media in the Project Panel, it will show in the Preview Area at the top (if it's turned on) if the selected piece of media is present in any sequences, and you can even click a drop-down list and select any instance of that media in any sequence. This functionality is lost in the productions workflow. Unless a piece of media sits in the same project as a sequence that contains it, this dialogue comes up and it seems like there is no instance of that media being used. This is hugely helpful in many ways, but with Productions encouraging the siloing of media to one project and sequences to others, we lose this very helpful functionality. For example – I want to use a song in a scene of a film. I'm in my music project file, and I know several songs in this project file are used in sequences throughout the film, but I can't tell which ones any more unless I manually go through each project that contains a sequence (of which there are dozens) and manually scan the sequence and write down which songs are being used. It would be WAY more helpful to click on a piece of media, and have Premiere tell mein the Preview Area if/when that media is used somewhere throughout my sprawling Production, not just the project file the media sits within. The same for SFX or B-Roll shots – whatever the case. In the end, I'm hoping Productions workflows become a no-brainer, but as exemplified by the above, I have to always way the functionality gains vs the losses. Right now, the scales are too evenly balanced.
When most users turn day photos into night photos, the radial gradient tool is used to add light to a fixture in the scene. In architectural and landscape lighting, most of the fixtures are spot lights. The radial gradient feature requires a ton of editing to the mask to make it work and the end resulkt isnt that great. I would love a point gradient mask. One point is the light bulb, the opposite point would be the total throw distance of the light. That point would also get spreader points to make the triangle shaped spot light throw narrow or wide. Taking it to the next level would also add an internal point which would create the hot spot of the light. This would be another point gradient from the light source to the top of the hot spot
When I apply the Warp Stabilizer to a clip using a set of presets I have developed that all have the warning banner disabled, I find that the Analyze button in Effect Controls is buggy and often grays out or shows the wrong clip's progress. For instance, I can drag and drop Warp Stabilizer on several different clips in a timeline. It doesn't automatically process when using presets, so I select the first clip and click Analyze. Once that analysis starts, I select another clip and find the button grayed out, but the notification shows progress counting up frames from the first clip that I don't have selected anymore. If I click off that clip and back on to it again, the button works now, and I can analyze only up to 5 clips simultaneously. In this screen recording, I'm selecting the first clip, then toggling back and forth between the next four clips until the button becomes available while the first clip is still processing. Ideally, I would love for this to be a batch process where I can apply specific settings within Warp Stabilizer to as many clips as I want and have it automatically process them all in the background. I see this feature was first requested in the forums about 12 years ago, so really hoping for an improvement soon.
For the love of everything good, and thousands of people activily paying you every month, will you please make an ability to disable zoom on the program window or change the mouse scroll wheel behavior. You have screwed over thousands of people with a feature that most people did not ask for or want. Its wrecking our workflow. Having to place my mouse in time ruler is time consuming, annoying and not sufficient.Yes it makes sense having that in After Effects but this is premiere, a place we were scrub though footage and the time lines 100x more than we zoom. Whereas in After Effects you zoom more than you scrub through footage.I am very frusterated with the Adobe Team because it feels like they rarely listen to their community and instead do willy nilly things that a bunch of people sitting a room who don't edit for a living think would be useful. I speak for thousands of people when I say please change this. Just because not eveyone is wasting their time asking (lets be honest its prob a waste of our time since you rarely lsiten) doesnt mean they dont care. Please at least make a drop down "fit - locked" option. Something, anything. Im going back to the old version just for that feature until its changed. Which sucks because I like using beta.
So when clicking and viewing footage from project panel to find what I need, then click back onto my timeline panel, would be nice for that to come back into forefront of the comp panel instead of having to go click on it along the top...
Qué tal, sería bueno que adobe tuviera la función de separar voz de pista de audio
Please allow us to simply copy and paste markers between layers and timelines/precomps.This simple feature:right click on any layer or timeline (or marker) -> copy/cut marker(s)right click another layer/timeline -> paste markers. Please please implement this. Can't tell you how many times I've spent valuable time putting markers in a comp only to realize it was the parent comp that needed them. Or simply wanting the same markers in another comp. This feature would save us all from tedious repeat work.
I’d like to request that Adobe increase the 2.1GB image buffer size limit in After Effects. Every year, more high-resolution screens and projection surfaces are popping up, and it’s becoming increasingly common to produce content at extremely large sizes. Unfortunately, hitting this buffer limit makes it impossible to stay fully within After Effects for these massive formats. Newer hardware can handle much larger frame sizes without issue, so it would be great if After Effects could evolve to support these modern workflows and avoid forcing creators to rely on workarounds or external tools. I hope the After Effects team considers this request and provides a higher buffer limit in a future update.
WHYYYY is the position of a piece of text not included in a Text Style? Basically, I manually add captions to the videos I make because I need total flexibility for where they appear in the frame. The problem arises when I then come to create another version of the video where all that same text needs to be moved to the same place in the frame, like regular captions. There are probably ways of working around this that I haven't thought about, but it does raise the issue of why there isn't an option to include the position of the text in Text Style. It's driving me nuts!
Idea: Generate/export PDF contact sheets directly in Lightroom Desktop Why? Negates the need to have to export files, which wastes time. Also negates the need to use Bridge. It's an obvious feature that photographers use with almost every job. It was a capability that was available in Lightroom previously.
As in singletrack editor, I'd like to export multiple marker ranges as their own files and automatically name them the name of the marker. I often complete a radio show in one session and want to export the whole show without having to select an individual marker range and export, wait for it to export, select the next marker etc, etc.
Every new file opened, when selecting "exporting as" jpeg, defaults to 6..I need to be able to set this to 7 (100%).Some days I open 100's of files, edit them, create Photoshop docs, then export to jpg. Sometimes PNG instead.I use the dialogue box "Export As" and drop down to with PNG or jpg. This also allows me to set multiple sizes, gives a good preview, and other options. This needs to be customisable or editable like the Quick export format settings. Please! Adobe.. add a way to set the defaults for this dialogue box.
I understand why there's an index number added to the file name when you export layers to files, but it's not always convenient and I often have to spend ages renaming my files. I have even seen a video of how to re-code Photoshop to stop this happening which works, but it re-sets itself with every Photoshop update. What would be useful is a tick box where you can turn this feature on and off.
Why is there a pop up warning when deleting keyframes in Premiere 'Pro'. Are Pro users not savvy enough to know what they're doing and need a warning EVERY SINGLE TIME we delete keyframes? There is no warning like this in After Effects. Why in Premiere? I've requested this be removed since CS5. How does this annoying pop-up still exist? At least give a preference toggle to turn this off. Seriously.Over 7 yrs, come on Adobe! Give your Pro users the benefit of the doubt in this 'Pro' application. YES I KNOW I AM DELETING KEYFRAMES.https://forums.adobe.com/thread/801578
The automatic transcription is pretty good (so, thank you Adobe), however it's not 100% accurate, lots of little mistakes. This means it still requires manual editing on words and punctuations scattered throughout the transcript. This also means that the user has to jump in and out of the transcript edit mode which is doing a lot of unneccessary clicking and becomes really annoying. I've used transcription for a while now and I dread the constant back and forth and the multiple clicks it requires to correct the text. There's got to be a better way to set up the user interface for thisPlease condsider creating a transcript edit mode where the text is always active and editable as it follows the active monitor. Also there's got to be a better way to restart the video once an edit is complete. It requires two clicks now- clicking out of the text box to deactivate it and then space bar to start the video play. When there are a lot of edits in a transcript this current system becomes clunky, tiresome and annoying.
I would love to be able to open multiple clips in their own source monitors. Meaning, if I have 5 clips in my project, I want to be able to open up each of them in their own monitor window, giving me 5 windows to navigate between. When I reiview dailies, I like to look at a small section of each take and create a string out of those moments. Having each clip in their own monitor and toggling between them is a great way to handle this workflow. Presently, I grab all the clips I need, drag them to the source monitor, and then use a keyboard shortcut to switch between each one. It's not a terrible way of working, but being able to manually lay them out in their own monitors is a bit easier to wrap my head around when dealing with dozens of clips. Thank you!
Hello,I kindly request you to add a watermark on the thumbnails of SVG files. It is very easy for people to take screenshots and use them without permission. Thank you.
so premiere has a feature where if you want to connect two words together you can highlight them both and then use the "merge selected caption segments" however what we dont have is a function that can split 2 words into their correct position on the timeline when they are both incorrectly in the caption box for example right now a client of mine says "even nowadays they scared me" "im not gonna lie" however in the captions it has connected the "me" and the "im" into the same text box, which just looks weird and gramatically incorrect
Having information at our fingertips is the beauty of working digitally. However, incomplete information is rather frustrating, especially when we know it is 'there'. I've requested having crop size added to the Info panel — but still no go! Having camera metadata is very helpful for those who rely on it. Aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and focal length are all helpful, but they are just the start. I could really benefit from having 'EV' shown, for example. Lr is mature product and being used in place of Lr Classic by many of us. We can see EV in Lr Classic. Bring it to Lr as well! Solution 1: Simply make the Lr Info panel more similar to the Lr Classic Liibrary right panel. Solution 2: Under Settings, allow users to toggle the camera data they want shown. We know the data is there and Lr is basically database-driven, so allowing us to see more EXIF data would be a huge help and time saver.
Hi, There are many cases where allowing the user to edit the Camera or lens in EXIF make sens. For example: The user wants to add the information to photos they scanned The user uses a DSLR with an adapter to use lens of another brand, and it is not recognised The user wants to add this information to videos shot with their DSLR (most cameras do not include the information in the exif for videos, like MP4, but the information is still important to have) I know there are weird/complex solutions like ExifTool or Capture Time to Exif to edit the exif of a video or an image but I do not want an extra tool that I need to trust, to buy and to learn how to use, when I'm paying so much money to Adobe. So my request: Let me edit the Camera and Lens. Thank you
I really feel label colors should be visible in icon view. I also feel, whether in icon or freeform view, the label color selected should color around the whole clip in your bin. Currently label colors are just a tiny dot in freeform view. Color coding whole clips could help me mark where good NATs or visuals are and would allow me to find those clips again quickly when I'm ready to lay my b-roll down. I often have a large amount of raw footage, so being able to go through and mark the clips I want to use later would save me a lot of time. The little dots of color aren't obvious enough to catch my eye when scrolling back through my bin, for me personally.
Would love to see the option to drop the file extension from the layer name when loading files into Photoshop layers. The extensions often aren't needed and take up valuable UI space. Also, if users are running scripts that pull the layer name to use elsewhere, the included file extension can create problems. A simple checkbox in preferences would do the trick. It's quality of life request. This would be needed when running the script from within PS and Bridge.
When picking and rating pictures in an album with large number of photos - A feature to provide bookmarking where you have left off while working through the culling process would really help with certain workflows. The suggestion is to add a bookmarking option - A visual marker which can be placed at any location within the album. Would be most useful on Mobile Lightroom and light room classic.
