”一つ上のレイヤーを選択”、 ”一つ下のレイヤーを選択”のショートカットを組み込んで欲しいです。Open for Voting

Project Manager Progress Window Feature RequestOpen for Voting

I would love an overhall of the project manager - but the specific one feature I need is for more information on what the project manager progress window is doing when it has the analyizing project window come up - I can see in the background that it is usually copying footage already, but I need a live window into this - I want to see specific file names its copying, a percecentage copied for each file, the speed of copying progress on a per file basis, the elapsed time, etc etc. There is no way to know if the project manager has hung or frozen currrently as there is just a blue percetage bar that never seems to animate even though at the finder app level I can see progress is being made. Please fix this! Another option that I personally would love but don't know how feasible it is, is for there to be an option to avoid copying files on specific tracks (i.e. v1) I work in a collaborative editing paradigm as a freelancer, and frequently am asked to send project files back and forth, and to upload assets that have changed since the last round. Most of the time - the editors on either side have a copy of the footage which we generally have on v1 and then are making editing choices (b-roll, sfx, music) on the other tracks. I would love a way to just copy over changed media which would be on other tracks and not copy the v1 files again - but maybe there is a better easier solve then this?

Possible to improve how Premiere Pro (or CEP in general) loads extensions?Open for Voting

According to the CEP cookbook, the CEP engine decides which folder to use with this logic: ```How does CEP decide which extension to load?CEP first searches the product extension folder, then the system extension folder, and finally per-user extension folder.Extensions without an appropriate host application ID and version are filtered out.If two extensions have same extension bundle ID, the one with higher version is loaded. If two extensions have same extension bundle ID and same version, the one whose manifest file has latest modification date is loaded. If two extensions have same extension bundle ID, same version and same manifest modification date, CEP loads the first one that is found.``` However, if an extension load FAILS due to any issue such as a Signature Verification error, then it stops trying to load that extension altogether. So the suggestion is that in case of a failure, we work down this existing list and pick up the next best version of the same extension, e.g. in a different folder or of an older version, and load that instead. Inspiration behind the suggestion is that a user ended up with a "bad" version of our extension in their `Program Files (x86)` folder (probably by using a zxp installer) which was giving a Signature Verification issue, and we also had a "good" version of our extension in their per-user extensions folder. However, the "good" version kept getting blocked by the "bad" version.

Embroidery (andOpen for Voting

Hi,I've been a photoshop user for a number of years. I am not some amazing advanced user - buy I pay my money for the product and expect improvement over time. Uhhh it's not really becoming easier or BETTER for people like me. FIRST: My short term need is put some type in a ps document, and make it look like it is embroidered. I wasted money on something from Envato Elements, that couldn't even be installed. I looked on YouTube most of the videos about PS embroidery are people trying to sell you their "actions" or "templates" or something.                     ANY THOUGHTS        (I am on the latest version as of 11/09/2024) For those of us who aren't professional - we want a tool that ALSO offers more simplistic solutions. Example given - Alien Skin Eye Candy (or whatever it was called).  Photoshop still LACKS simplistic ways to put waterdrops on something, put rust on a subject, motion trails, textures, displacement maps (automatically) etc. (many of the things that Eye Candy has). My request above is another example - an embroidery look.  Please don't tell me 42 steps - I'm not an advanced user. I want something with a few settings I can adjust, not 23 layers and adjustment layers and 8 other things. AI - very disappointing.  I feel like Adobe got it out because other companies already had this. But it's lackluster, and honestly seems to be getting worse with each release.  When it first came out, the Eraser Tool took text off of a billboard or shirt or whatever and replaced it with the background; now with newer versions it has gotten WORSE -  it's trying to replace text your 'erase' with something that looks like text, but is not legible.  Great Example for lousy AI: I create some text, select the text area - and use Generative AI to fill it in with embroidered thread.  FORGET IT.  It has no clue what to do. It's literally clueless that (a) there is text and (b) what thread or cloth or string is. I don't want to have to watch 75 videos to "trick" the AI tool into doing what plain English should tell it to do. EMBROIDERY -  So, c'mon photoshop - how in a few simple clicks, or instructions - make type look embroidered? Overhaul of Photoshop's Animation tools and timeline for professional animators.Open for Voting

Hi there. First post here.I am a 2D animator, more specifically a traditional hand-drawn, frame by frame animator. (Just like a traditional Disney animator, but I use Photoshop)Here's my showreel: (link removed)My website: (link removed)I would like, if at all possible to help the design team to create a better, more professional timeline, for traditional animators.I love the fact that I can animate in PS but as it stands, the timeline and other animation tools, are quite sketchy and clunky in some regards, but still awesome in other regards. The list of things to improve is rather long, but not incredibly complex. It is mainly an issue of interface design, but also improving or adding just a few crucial tools. This could turn PS into an unbeatable animation app.I know Adobe Animate exists, but it doesn't offer "bitmap" animation, and doesn't have all the great painting tools of Photoshop. The sad thing is that other industry standard, traditional animation tools aren't that great either, such as Toon Boom or TV paint, which are also buggy or very clunky and so old-fashioned it's painful.I dream of a simple but efficiently designed Timeline, tailored for hand-drawn animation.I'm not seeking something complex such as rigged animation and bones and whatnot.Photoshop is amazing for illustration, it could be just as amazing for us traditional animators.I hope, if anyone knows how to, that I could communicate with some design team to work with them, simply as a friendly consultant, to guide them to implement some effective and much needed updates.ThanksSykosan

Develop star alignment and comet alignment functions for starry photographers.Open for Voting

Dear Adobe engineering team,First of all, let me express my deep respect for your excellent work, Adobe products have always been indispensable creative tools for photographers. As a photographer who focuses on the starry sky, I often chase those distant and bright points of light in the cold wind at night, recording the mystery and beauty of the universe. However, in the post-processing of these precious starry pictures, I encountered a challenge: how to efficiently achieve star alignment and clear presentation of comet tracks.1. Background and needsStarry photography often requires multiple shots with different exposures taken in the same location to capture rich details ranging from faint deep sky objects to bright nebulae and galaxies. However, the rotation of the Earth causes the stars to appear slightly shifted in the image, affecting the quality of the final composite. In addition, for moving objects such as comets, it is often difficult for traditional alignment methods to accurately track their trajectories, resulting in comets appearing blurred or broken in composite images.Second, functional requirementsWith this in mind, I asked the Adobe engineering team to consider two features:Star alignment function:The ability to automatically identify and precisely align stars in photos eliminates displacement due to the rotation of the Earth and ensures clarity in the composite image.Supports batch processing to improve post-processing efficiency.Flexible parameter adjustment options are available to accommodate different focal lengths, exposure times and weather conditions.Comet alignment and trajectory synthesis features:Identify and track the position changes of moving objects such as comets in successive photographs.Cometary tracks are synthesized automatically or semi-automatically so that they appear in a continuous, clear form in the final image.Adjustment options such as track brightness, width and transparency are available to meet different creative needs.Third, expectations and prospectsI believe that the addition of these two features will greatly improve the efficiency and quality of starry photographers' work, allowing us to focus more on capturing the grandeur of the universe rather than getting bogged down in tedious post-processing. Adobe has long been synonymous with innovation and excellence, and I look forward to witnessing the birth of this feature with you to bring new breakthroughs in starry photography."Thank you again for your hard work and unremitting efforts! Look forward to your reply and further discussion.
