Illustrator (Beta)

For many years Illustrator has been generating white objects with overprint enabled inside printer marks, registration marks, or trim mark areas during PDF export.These objects are invisible in print but trigger preflight and RIP warnings in professional workflows.This issue has existed across multiple Illustrator generations and still appears in exported PDFs.White overprint objects should never be generated in PDF output unless explicitly created by the user.Please investigate and eliminate these unintended overprint elements from exported PDFs.

I'm having a really annoying issue with the new Turntable feature in Illustrator. Whenever I select an object and click Turntable, the generation loading window flashes on my screen for a split second, immediately shuts down, and then nothing happens. The artwork doesn't change at all, and it doesn't even turn into a Turntable group in my layers panel.This isn't just a glitch on one machine or with one specific file. It happens on multiple different computers using my Adobe login, even if I try it on a super basic shape in a brand-new blank document.The weirdest part is that other AI tools like Text to Vector work completely fine on the exact same computers and internet network. So I know my internet is working and I definitely have plenty of generative credits left.Here is everything I've already tried to fix it, but nothing has worked:Checked my Adobe account page to confirm I have lots of generative credits. Not sure if this is a bug, or if it has been removed. But while loaded, Illustrator no longer seems to update the fonts list, if a new font is installed. Meaning a restart of Illustrator is necessary, if you want the newly installed fonts to show.It used to do it, but now it needs a restart.

The new dynamic text feature, which has been highlighted in various announcements and recent statements around the build v 31.0.0, is not showing up in any of the intended locations.  I have checked the contextual task bar, properties panel, type menu and used various LLMs and search tools to walk through all possible locations within the app seeking the “T with ⚡️” icon and was unable to find it anywhere.

in illustrator 2024 the dont save is on left and cancel is in the middle. in the beta its switched. please do not do that. my muscle memory has me going in circles all day. leave the order alone.

Hi team,I am experiencing a persistent UI/functional bug in the latest Illustrator Beta version regarding the Transform panel inside the Control Bar.The Issue: I am unable to scale objects non-uniformly using the Width (W) and Height (H) input fields in the Control Bar's transform section. It constantly behaves as if the "Constrain Proportions" (link icon) mode is turned ON, maintaining the aspect ratio automatically, even though I have explicitly turned this feature OFF.Steps to Reproduce: Select any object (e.g., a rectangle or vector path). Look at the Transform section in the Control Bar. Ensure the "Constrain Proportions" link icon is unchecked/disabled (showing it should allow free, non-uniform scaling). Change either the Width or Height value manually. The other dimension changes automatically to maintain the original aspect ratio, completely ignoring the disabled constraint toggle. I have the newest version of the App still I couldn't find the dynamic text anywhere i looked in all panels just to make sure and looked in many tutorials it seems that i have a bug

When using the latest update to illustrator and the three previous versions the Dimension Tool Options crashes illustrator. This is not only the previously mentioned “Scale” issues, but also when adjusting the precision setting. See screen grab. 16/10/2026 

Create a simple Area Text element by selecting the Text Tool and dragging a rectangle around 80 x 20 px.In the Area Type options, inset the text by 2px and align vertically by EM height centered. Set the width to 80px and the height to 16px. Turn off the Resize Option. Notice that the Area Text element is 15.994 px tall even though you manually entered `16px and wanted it to be exactly 16px. This is typical and frustrating, but not the issue at hand.Now press F8 to create a symbol from the Area Text element. Align upper left corner and make it a Movie Clip.The size of the symbol instance is 20.3445px  Though the Area Text element is the only thing in the symbol definition and it’s roughly 16px tall.NOTE: I was thinking that the inset value (2px) may have been what was throwing the symbol definition off since 16+2 (top) + 2 (bottom) = 20, but you can see that the inset is already calculated in the text area element’s size.

With ChatGPT/Codex…if I’m discussing a document, and have multiple documents open, it’s hard for it to figure out which one I am talking about, as they all are just listed as untitled…

When using the dynamic text feature in Illustrator Beta (particularly when using as variables) the type always aligns to the top and the left, despite what size I make the textframe. This is frustrating if the space I need to fill needs to be centered or right aligned horizontally; or if it needs to be vertically centered or aligned to the bottom. I’ve attached a zip file that contains the illustrator file, the data used, and screen captures when I prepare the file.

Please increase or remove the canvas size limitation in Adobe Illustrator.I often work with many A4 artboards and need to arrange them vertically in a single column.For example, with 51 A4 artboards and 0 mm spacing, Illustrator does not allow the layout and shows: ‘Adjust settings to fit in more artboards’I would like to be able to continue arranging A4 artboards vertically without hitting the current canvas boundary.The gray workspace should allow much more space, ideally virtually unlimited, for large multi-page projects

Since updating to Illustrator Beta 30.9.93, I'm seeing an abnormal rendering behavior when moving objects at high zoom levels.Steps to reproduce: Open any document in Illustrator Beta 30.9.93 Zoom in beyond 800% (GPU rendering enabled) Click and hold on any object to drag it Expected result: While holding the click, the object moves in real time on screen, as usual. Actual result: As soon as zoom exceeds 800%, the outlines of ALL objects on the artboard turn black. During the drag, the selected object appears frozen — no live preview of the movement. When releasing the mouse button, the object jumps to its new position (the move itself is applied correctly). Behavior below 800%: everything works normally, with real-time drag preview.Workaround: Switching to View > View Using CPU restores the normal real-time drag preview.Environment: Illustrator Beta version: 30.9.93 Dell Precision 5820 - Intel(R) Xeon(R) W-2245 CPU @ 3.90GHz (3.91 GHz) - RAM 32Gb Windows 11 Pro Nvidia

When saving a SVG the meta data was removed and any raster image in the document sill change scale. Meta data like keywords and description need to be intact. images need to stay to the proper scale and remain embedded in the SVG. 

I am trying to locate the libraries tab to access my brand colors to facilitate a faster work process. The only way I know how to access the library tab is Window > Extensions > Libraries. Pressing on the libraries button to get the tab to open does not do anything and I cant access my library. Also searching ‘librar​​​ies’ through the search action does nothing to pop it open. ​​​​

The save file issue: didn't save the file, but the operation is fine as before once adding the new content in the same file, there is no problem. I tried to find out another solution, open the  new files and place the those content to new file, located in different saving the location, however, still in saving process.............. How I can do it? or bugs?  

Hi. Why is it that after creating a crescent shape from two circles, adding an outline to the tips of the crescent results in an angle formed by straight lines, rather than lines that follow the curve of the crescent? The green object shouldn't have straight lines; instead, it should have rounded ones, like the red moon-shaped object. It's not just a beta bug; the official version does the same thing. Regards

I’ve tried different models, prompts, and reference images. Closed the program, restarted, new project, and still the same results.
